Ashbusters Chimney Service Inc

It went well. it seemed like he was doing something because of all fo the banging and noise. There was a crack in the back wall and floor as well as a little chunk missing out of the back of the floor that I didn't think was there before but I could have been wrong. Also, i thought they were going up on the roof and look at the top and all but apparently that wasn't part of the deal. Guess this is a case of you get what you pay for. Also the guy told me he would send me a quote to repair the cracked wall and floor and I never heard from him. In all fairness the company did call to check in to see how the job went and i haven't called them back.

The guys that came were very nice and knowledgeable. The only problem I have is that what I actually wanted was an estimate, which is supposed to free. When I called to ask about the Angie's list special, they said I needed to buy that. But the guys that came were not salespeople, so in in the end, while I learned more about my chimney, which I already suspected was non functioning, I didn't learn much about my options for replacing it. At least not an prices on those options. And I paid $100 for a free service. But the guys were nice.

Service technician arrived at the appointed time, was thoroughly professional and knowledgeable. Inspected chimney, fireplace and flue from the inside and outside. Provided details of all work suggested and/or needed. I would definitely use these good folks again.

This was a newly bought older home with a masonry chimney that needed inspection for safety purposes. 1- showed up at appointment time 2- The representatives were uniformed and friendly 3- they quickly and efficiently performed the work 4- They emailed the receipt right from their truck along with photos Overall a Great Job! The only way it could have been better is if they could send the original photos of the inspection. The photos they sent were pictures of the camera display screen image which were difficult to visualize but got the job done. Thanks Ashbusters!

Job went very well. The initial evaluation that I received from the estimator that the dryer venting system had to be replaced and rerouted was incorrect. Mark, the service tech., found that the venting system did not have to be replaced but just reconnected and cleaned. Cost of the job decreased from $420 to $179. Appreciated Mark's honesty and professionalism. Both Mark and Jerry cleaned after themselves and left the house cleaner than it was. They took their shoes off prior to entering the house.

We just bought an old house, so the serviceman voluntarily explained about the age/construction of this type fireplace, suggested options for maintenance and repair. Pleasant, efficient, thorough!

Very nice people ,they did the inspection and told me what I needed done would cost a total of 1,800 the price was a bit to deep for me.

Great. Jason, the technician was professional and efficient. He did not try and sell us anything we did not need. The company is as good as the technician that they send out and Jason was a true pro.

We just moved into our house and the existing fireplace and chimney appeared to have not been used in many years. So it needed a checkup before we even attempted to use it. We called numerous fireplace shops to get info on the old fireplace and what the options were with it. They didn't give much help but they recommended a chimney cleaning service as they may have more info on older fireplaces. We bought the cleaning and inspection coupon on Angie's List. They were very punctual and professional. Took care of it within a few days. They also found the flue had disconnected half way up the chimney and it was a safety concern. The tech Mark was very knowledgable and was able to give us enough info to decide on what to do with the very outdated fireplace. (replace the direct vent logs w/ ventless since we are only using them for ambiance not heat) They also found the chase was rusting through and needed replacement. We decided on the stainless steel one with lifetime warrantee. The price was higher then others but I trusted the workmanship of Ashbusters. Overall good service and I will use them and recommend them.

The technician was prompt, professional and personable. He took a lot of time explaining what he was doing and advising us on how to proceed in the future.

Punctual and professional. Shot pictures showing need for heat shield repair in flue. Problem might not have been identified with just a routine cleaning. It is always difficult to assess the real need for these kinds of repairs, but AshBusters supplied photo evidence and seemed trustworthy.

Purchased Angies list special, arrived on time, were very clean and neat,would not have not known they were even there. Gave us a fair estimate for some work to be done on the chimney cap. We have not had this done yet but plan on it this year.

Technician was prompt and professional. The only less than outstanding thing was some debris was left on fireplace after cleaning. Very satisfactory experience.

They came out and did their thing. It went fine. They did not charge me more than the Big Deal. They were pretty good. Their price was fine as well, and the quality of their service was good.

They do a good job. They sealed the brick and the cap on my chimney but the set they used kind of stained my hands all through, I haven't talked to them about it yet. I was concerned with the roof leaking or the chimney leaking. I've used them before. They're a little slow, we had a problem with getting the quote through. The file was too big for me to receive by email, we got it corrected.

I was impressed from the beginning by the professionalism. Pictures were taken on the spot and necessary repairs were explained very well and in great detail. These guys are not cheap, but no one wants to take chances when your house could literally burn down if a bad job were done. They arrived promptly as scheduled, did a wonderful job and took more pictures of the "after." I was much imporessed.

Very professional. Arrived right on time and took care not to damage or leave the floor dirty. Conducted a thorough inspection of fireplace and chimney - inside and out. Included going up on the roof to inspect the chimney cap and running a video camera through the interior. Service performed on a 1937 home that has had the chimney blocked off for many years. The serviceman gave a full explanation of all the issues he found and was able to show me pictures of problem areas both inside and outside of the chimney. The quote to repair all the problems was expensive - I need to check other resources to see how reasonable $800 is to put a new cap on a chimney. He also provided an explanation of my options for the fireplace - vented or ventless gas logs vs repair for wood burning, and provided quotes for services.
