Ashbusters Chimney Service Inc

We moved into this house in 2009 and had never used the fireplace but decided this year we wanted to. They did what they said in a timely manner and we will definitely use them again.

Derrick is wonderful, professional and researched answers for questions I had. I highly recommend Ashbusters. Last year I had them clean my chimney. They were equally professional and both Derrick and the chimney cleaners neatly cleaned up.

Not completed in timely manner

I have been in my house for 36 years and never did any chimney upkeep, so it was long past time to undertake this project. The main problem with the fireplace was that it was leaking into the firebox as well as behind the sheetrock along the roofline. Brannon did a great job on both trips. He was professional, answered all my questions, and was a delight to work with. I would not hesitate to call him again.

Ashbusters has been a wonderful company to deal with. I had originally scheduled the cleaning a month ago, but due to family circumstances, I had to cancel at literally the last minute. The technicians had already arrived just a bit early and because one of my family members is frail and elderly and sits in a lift chair near the fireplace, they recommended she be seated elsewhere when they performed the service because they were concerned about her health. They offered to reschedule if that would be more convenient, and I agreed. I was impressed by their concern for my family member, and even more impressed when one of the two men noticed I had just returned from the grocery store and he helped me carry in my groceries. I was so surprised...this was like a neighbor helping a neighbor. He simply said that he had an elderly relative in his family and his aunt was a caregiver and he knew that things could be very challenging for caregivers, so he was just happy to help me. He was a young man, so his wisdom and compassion really touched me. It obviously made a great first impression on this customer! The office staff when I called to reschedule were polite and helpful. I received a reminder call the day before the service, and both times, the technicians were punctual, even early. The technicians who came to clean the chimney were very polite and professional. They did discover that my chimney cover is rusted and will need to be replaced. They showed me pictures of it taken from my roof so that I could see it for myself. There was no selling involved, and they answered my questions about the cost to replace it, the timing, and so on. They are going to follow up and send me the photos via e-mail so that I can review and schedule the repair when it best fits my budget. There was absolutely no pressure put on me to commit immediately to a new service, they were simply providing the results of the inspection to me and making a recommendation. Based upon my experience with this company, I will definitely hire them again for the recommended service because the actions of their staff have convinced me that they treat their customers with respect and integrity.

It went very well, they came in did the inspection and then made a point to show us the issues with the fireplace. Although I am not using them for the repairs they were very thorough.

Everything went great! Clyde cleaned our chimney for the agreed price and inspected everything very thoroughly.

They are fast, on time, and do a great job. Customer service is outstanding all through the company. $99 is fair, but i can't afford to do this every year.

Tim was great. He called ahead of time to let me know when he would arrive. He put protective covering down to protect the areas around my fireplace. He was very friendly and demonstrated excellent customer service. After inspecting and cleaning my flue, he provided me with a report, including pictures, and what to expect in the next couple of years depending on usage. There was no mess and he was done in less than an hour.

They were prompt on the initial visit and subsequent visit. They showed us the work and explained what they were doing. They were very helpful and professional. We will definitely use them again!

The serviceman was personable. He was careful and cleaned up efficiently. He showed me images of the chimney. To me they could have been of the moon. I know nothing about cleaning a chimney or its possible needed repairs. I'm sure he is skilled at what he did. Unfortunately for me, cleaning wasn't enough to safely build a fire. The Ashbuster bid to make it safe is over $2500. Expensive Repair!! Will pass.

Matt arrived right on time, was very professional and pleasant, and placed a drop cloth down in front of the fireplace to protect the carpet. He then examined the fireplace and found that it was damaged and not suitable for burning wood. He then took some photographs of the damage up inside the chimney and explained the damage to us. Following the bad news regarding no wood burning he spent some time with us explaining the other options available, along with the costs involved. All in all, one of the best tradesmen we have dealt with in quite a while. YES, we would recommend highly!

The gentleman arrived within the designated window. He was very polite and professional. He covered the carpet and went to work cleaning the fireplace. He then cleaned up inside and went onto the roof. He took pictures for documentation and used them to explain what he saw. Roughly took about 45 minutes.

The technician was on time, professional and gave us sound advice and recommendations. Would definitely use them again next year.

Ashbusters was great - arrived on time - did the work efficiently - talked me through what he was doing - gave several options for other work that we will be needing to get done. I can't remember the name of our worker, but he was very friendly and helpful. I am so glad we went with Ashbusters and feel much more at ease with the winter season coming - I know our chimney is well taken care of!

The guys arrived on time and were both friendly and professional. They spent some time examining my chimneys because both have twin flues per chimney to service multiple fireplaces and furnaces, and it's was non-obvious which was which. They told me how everything is connected which is great information to have. The cleaning was quick and thorough. They kept the mess well contained with drop clothes and a vacuum. At the end I was presented and walked through what's working and what's broken in my chimneys with pictures. They were excellent at discussing the problems and answering my questions about which repairs are necessary and which are optional or could be put off into the future. I got a very good deal on the cleaning and inspection through an Angie's List deal. Ashbusters was even nice enough to let me buy two deals to cover both chimneys when the deal specifically says one per household. Great folks.

Ashbusters are wonderful! Very Professional, Very Friendly! They arrived when they said they would. Inspected and cleaned chimney area and cleaned up afterwards. I trust Ashbusters and will call on them every year for inspection and cleaning.

The technician was to be here between 1pm and 5pm. He called me before 5pm to let me know his last client took longer than anticipated and could he still come out even though it would be after 5. I told him he could still come out. The technician was very polite and professional. He did a sweep of the chimney and a complete inspection. He reported there were no problems. He was very nice. We would call them again.
