Allens Air Duct Cleaning and Pressure Washing

I purchased the Big Deal for Whole House Air Duct cleaning for 199.99. When I received a call from Allen I was informed this deal only included one unit and my house has two (upper and lower). I thought whole house meant whole house. He was understanding and made a deal on the other unit for 120.00. We set a date, he showed up and did the job. I would use him again but the "Deal" package should have been clear on that included only one unit.

.Decent fellow. Independent contractor. Arrived early, got right to work. Old equipment? (brush appeared to be well experienced). Left dust on some surfaces. (To be fair, the ducts appeared to have been neglected for a long time, but there was no equipment available to mitigate dust blown from ducts as cleaning progressed.) This is our first house with central air conditioning, so I have had no experience with duct cleaning. I don't know if I would give the same review if I had not contracted the work with the advertised discount.

Very well. He arrived on time, cleaned all the vents in a timely manner, cleaned up as he went and showed me all that was removed. I was pleased.

The air ducts where clean as much as possible due to the configuration and the method in which they where built.

My representative was extremely nice but I thought he could have done better in cleaning out the registers however.

well i purchased the big deal because i was about to deliver and i wanted the house super cleaned thinking also it would get down my allergies.and i purchased it right away cause the deal was about to expire.so and without reading his reviews., I really wished I read them cause on his big deal stated a $600 value...After going back looking at his so called $600 value reviews I found none,so at this point Im thinking what have I done.and actually all the prices were around what i payed or less. So went on with it cause im the kind of person purchase it dont return it.I called 2 days after,no response so I decided to email no response so I texted I also own a business and thought well hes extremely busy so i waited a week called emailed and texted again with no response,at this point i felt ignored so I contacted Angieslist and 2 days later got a call from him so we scheduled a cleaning on Saturday.He was nice to talk to and very informative about his service. So the Saturday he did not arrive on time 30 min later with no call so i really thought i was getting no service,when he finally showed he ranked of cigarette smoke,I have allergies so it was not a good first time judgement,and the fact he was late. he got right to work,he suctioned all the vents out with a heavy duty vacuum which i was impressed with.I thought my vents were filled with stuff but actually not much then he cleaned all vents out with bleach..that was strange to me since i have children in the home..i dont know. but ok.. then he sprayed this air freshening through the return that was nice too. he took a break and we got to talking and he said i should of called him he would of gave me a even cheaper deal,Im thinking i wouldnt even knew u without the deal. Then I thought so hes just not doing people right. overall I will not use him again. and to top it off it did nothing for my allergies. So i dont even think it was worth it and especially not for the price.

Overall it was a good experience and the price was right. I'm sure there are outfits out there that have better equipment then this company had, but he got the job done to my satisfaction.

It was excellent. He was very professional. Since then, we have had him come back and clean air duct for upstairs and clean the dryer vent. My drying time is cut in half.

Allen was quick to schedule an appointment, was on time and very professional, did a great job cleaning all of our vents in a timely manner. It was a little loud, but that wasn't his fault :) That's just the way the machine was. eHe was done in less the time than expected and the house feels much cleaner!

He explained what he would do to clean my ducts and even showed me a problem that existed with one of the ducts. He finished in a timely manner and was extremely informative about what he did. I called the number and the man made an appointment with me for the following week. He explained that he was bombarded with calls from the "special." Fair enough, and it made no difference to me. I knew I was getting a deal with the special; I didn't mind the wait. He called the day before to confirm, which was nice. I came home after work and everything looked to be in order. Nothing was disturbed, the dirty places were cleaned, the greyness was back to white. Perfectly satisfied. Later I retrieved a voicemail from the man who had called to make sure I was happy, inviting me to call him back if I had any problems at all with his work. Very professional experience. Highly recommended.

I used the Angie's list coupon, and added another system while Allen was here. He charged me an extra $100 for that part, which I consider a good price. He was very thorough. His professionalism was my only issue. He came dirty and tired, and let me know how hard he was working and how exhausted he was. I would prefer that someone come and do the job without complaining.

The only drawback is that the machinery used is very loud and does get old after a while. However, it is a necessary part of the job!!
