Their prices are reasonable and they always do what they say, when they say. They installed 2 new units a few years back because the old ones were just worn out. A couple years prior they repaired them as long as they could. Finally the only option was to replace. Excellent job. No I get the twice a year maintenance and am very happy. I would and have recommend them to everybody.

We have been using Mike and his team for many years. His crews have always been prompt and courteous. Allen's has serviced everything from our commercial buildings to our houseboat. He has also serviced our home heat and air units. I have found him to be reasonable in his billing and excellent in his service. I have always felt I could call Mike with a concern about his work and he would respond immediately.

I am a 23 year veteran of Aircraft Maintenance and have a diverse background of troubleshooting and repairing of systems with the airlines and general aviation. I understand the theory and operation of air conditioning systems as I do all my own automotive repairs including the air conditioning system. With that being said, there are certain repairs you just have to get help, like a leaking evaporator core (you can't just go down to home depot and purchase one). So I searched for an HVAC service provider and decided on Allen's Air Care on referrals. This was back in the mid 90s. And of course with me being very particular, I am right there watching every move making sure no shortcuts were taken and was very impressed and satisfied with the work performed and have used them ever since. The following is a list of repairs accomplished by Allen's Air Care over the years: (mid 90s) - Replacement of a leaking evaporator core, condenser, fan relay in our first house, (2002) - Freon Service on our fifth wheel camper which was a sealed unit, (2003 to Present) - HVAC servicing and eventually upgrading of our main HVAC unit to a heat pump on our second house in 2011. I have always been present for every task performed. They have always been courteous when calling the office and timely in responding. I have recommended them to friends and family and anybody who inquires. Only by good merit do I give out recommendations.

It was great. I had another company to work on this since August. They came at least 6 times. It finally worked, but came the cold and was not working. I was fed up with that company so I called Allen's. They came one time and showed me that the equipment was not hooked up correctly. It has been working since. I will be using them from now on.

It was quite nice. We were very satisfied with the service. They were very prompt, professional and quick. They were on time. I have already used them on another house.

They were good and I will recommend them.

They were wonderful. They have done work for my family and also for the business where I work, and I highly recommend them. Mark Allen and his staff are all about trying to do what's best instead of just trying to do what's going to make him the most money. I won't use anybody else. They have been out and checked the unit they installed twice for free, which I really thought was a nice feature. I'm very pleased. I recommended them to my family and my friends.

It worked fine. The guy was very knowledgeable about the product that I had. They came out quickly even though it was on short notice and they didn't charge too much. I've only done business with them once but I was satisfied with what I got. I think the company is decent and you will probably be satisfied if you do business with them.

It went well. I like that they got it done in two days. They did more than what the other companies were going to do. For my dislike, just maybe more communication initially on some questions I had or whatever, but other than that, they were great.

Allen arrived exactly the time he said he would. He worked continually from the time he arrived without stopping. He made sure any dirt left behind was clean before he left.

Allen's Air Care Inc. has been with us for a number of years. They are a family operated business that is fair and honest. They are efficient and timely. I would definitely recommend them and I will call them again when I have another problem.

This is my second bad experience with Allens Air Care. I did not report the first problem to AngiesList as the owner and I reached a somewhat satisfactory agreement on the charges. On 1/21/10 Allens sent a tech to work on a faulty wiring issue. This was the fourth time a technician has been dispatched to work on the same problem. When Allens installed the new HVAC unit, the thermostat wire which runs from the inside air handler to the outside unit was pulled too close to the home's siding, and vibration wore the insulation and caused the unit's 24 volt power lead to short to the copper pipe they had installed. It took three visits from Allens to finally this problem. On the third visit, the technician found the problem and repaired the worn insulation with electrical tape. This seemed like a proper fix at the time. However, it seems that vibration from the outside unit wore the wire again and the identical problem reoccurred. Allens sent another tech who discussed the problem with me and resolved it as he and I agreed, by re-taping the 24 volt wire and running the wire away from the sharp edge of the siding. I understand that some problems are difficult to troubleshoot and this was one of them. I also understand that the technician who temporarily resolved this issue the first time performed what seemed to be a reasonable fix at that time. My problem is with Allens Air Care billing me for the work. I have no issues with the technicians at all, they were all prompt and professional. However, I should not have been billed by Allens Air Care to repair a problem which 1. was a result of their installation work and 2. had been worked on previously by other Allens technicians. This was the fifth service call from an Allens Air Care technician since they installed a new HVAC unit in 2008. None of the problems were a result of faulty Rheem hardware, all were the result of poor wiring. Four visits concerned this same problem of faulty wiring at the time of installation.

The guy came in and did everything within an hour. Excellent :-)

They were very competent, responsive and forthright. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Great professional experience. I'm not sure it could have been done any better. This was a small, difficult job that most places don't even want to touch. They did a GREAT job. I will definitely use them again.

Allens Air Care was to fix the leak in my air conditioner for the third time since I purchased it from them. They do not seem to know what they are doing. They were not at all helpful and I had to hire someone else to fix it.
