+ -1 moreThe service man showed up precisely on time. Rare in East Tennessee. My wife expressed many concerns about soot in our house and his shoes. He courteously and patiently assured my wife that they have been doing this since the 80s wihtout a problem and he would be careful. He removed his shoes. He was extremely efficient, cleaned up leaving not a single speck, realigned, adjusted, and cleaned glass fireplace doors, which was not expected or requested. Totally finished in 30 minutes start to finish. Unconditional recommendation. Use this company.

+ -1 moreKent showed up on time and was extremely professional. He explained everything he was doing. He had the opportunity to perform this work annually for me. But when I asked, however he determined based on my usage and the excellent condition he found the chimney that once every three years was sufficient. The chimney area was left cleaner than when he started. Kent is a busy person, so getting an appointment with him can be a little frustrating, however, keep calling his listed phone number and he will get back to you. I will certainly use him again.

+ -1 moreEverything was smooth as silk. The new office manager returned my call the same day and set me up with an appointment. Kent arrived on time and performed the work. He advised me on how often to clean in the future. He also asked about smoke alarms and fire extinguishers, and I was very glad to get his advice on that as well. I feel like he went above and beyond the scope of work. He said the office will call next spring to remind me to get cleaned if needed, which I also appreciate. His price was lower than another quote I got over the phone. I will definitely use him again.

+ -1 moreKeith arrived at our home at the time expected (around 8:00 a.m.), was very polite, and introduced himself to us. He promptly brought in his equipment and got to work on the fireplace from the inside. He also made some recommendations for the glass doors on the fireplace and what type of fireplace equipment to use. He also inspected the cap on the top of the chimney to make sure it was properly installed. We were very pleased with his pleasant personality and efficient work.
Description of Work: Kent Leitch cleaned our chimney, adjusted the damper and inspected the outside chimney. He was very thorough (had good equipment) and did an excellent job of cleaning up after his work was completed

+ 1 moreOur experience with Kent was nothing but excellent! He was very courteous and extremely helpful. He ended up not needing to clean the fireplaces in our newly purchased home, which was a cost savings for us. But he still spent a great deal of time showing us some of the features of our gas-only fireplace and explaining some of the parts that we needed to consider buying to get in tip-top shape. In the end, I asked him to clean our dryer vent. Not only did he clean it, but he spent the greater part of an hour inspecting the vent through the crawl space and explaining some repairs that the duct needed, etc. Kent was very professional. I will definitely call him again in the future and would highly recommend him!!

Before starting his work, he sat down and took the time to understand how we use the fireplace, if we have had any problems with it, and then he gave us suggestions on ways to enhance our fireplace (none of which would benefit him monetarily). I think he really cares about what he is doing and sincerely wants to help. One other thing, he did a great job! Highly recommend this company.

+ 1 moreA+++++++ service. Very professional and knowledgeable. Kent arrived punctually at the agreed-upon time. He thoroughly inspected the chimney and attachments (i.e., gas lighter). As a fireman, Kent was very thorough in his review of the chimney and dryer vent and offered valuable suggestions. He also answered my many questions with ease. He even discussed other safety topics such as smoke detectors. He took his time and did not rush the job. He cleaned up after himself and left the fireplace and surrounding area immaculate. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Kent did a thorough job and took time to explain what he was doing and also provided us with tips on how to keep the ducts and fireplace clean going forward. Kent did not try to oversell services and provided realistic expectations for what we could expect from the services provided. My wife and I have noticed a positive difference in the quality of the air in the house.

Description of Work: Called Mr. Leitch on a Friday, left clear message of what I wanted to speak about. he did not return call. Called again the following Tuesday afternoon, reminded him that I had already left a message on the previous Friday, but that I still would like to speak with him. It is 12:25am on Wednesday, and I did not hear from him today. He called me finally end of July on a Friday, thanked me for my patience; explained that he really does not have many clients in our area to pay for service trips here. He said, however, that he did have a few clients here and that if I could wait to have the service done until sometime in August, he would get in touch with other clients to set up time for them too, and get us in one visit told him that since August was just days away, I could wait. He said he would call me before the next Friday to get a date for service for sometime in August. Four weeks later, On August 29, I called him, left a message on his answering machine reminding him that he had said he would provide service to me in August and that I had never heard back from him. I told him in the message that I would appreciate a call back from him that day setting up an appointment or informing me that he would not be providing service at my home. It is now September 5, and I have heard nothing from him. I will try to find another provider.

Description of Work: Air Duct Cleaning included about 18 registers, and the dryer vent was mostly clogged. Seymour did an excellent job in cleaning the air ducts and dryer vent. Cleanliness was excellent and the technicians were professional.

Description of Work: Chimney Cap - Reattached existing chimney cap that had been knocked loose by neighbor's falling tree. After about 20 min he was finished and he did a fair job knowing how fine the kerosene ash is and no one available to do a chimney/ heater cleaning.
