Firehouse Chimney & Duct Clean aka Seymour Chimney

Description of Work: He cleaned the dryer vent which had not been cleaned in 15 years. It was very clogged and blocked by a bird's nest. He was very patient and thorough and worked hard to clear the blockage. He had to come back in several days to put on a new flap cover that was bent. He was very helpful.

He and his assistant were extremely professional |as well as being very personable and nice. They checked all of my |smoke alarms (they are also firefighters with the Knoxville Fire Department) and wired three new replacements. I would |definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a gas fireplace cleaning. Kent was great to work with and I actually had him do my second fireplace while he was there. I would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: I called the service provider and they showed up on time as promised. However, when they inspected our duct work, they said it was too narrow for their equipment to clean. They did recommend another type of cleaner but did not know of any in the area. I appreciate their honesty.

Description of Work: Cleaned Chimney. Removed old ashes. Very professional, explained everything to us. Explained how to use fireplace. Did a thorough inspection of fireplace and chimney. Cannot praise him enough!! Will continue to use them as needed.

Description of Work: We recently had a leak during some heavy rain. Kent and Johnathan came out the next week and sprayed the cap with flex seal. Kent said that we'll eventually need to replace the chimney cap but the flex seal will work for now. They took pictures before and after the work so I could see what they did. Kent also looked at my fireplace and told me that the chimney is clean. He showed me how to care for the fireplace screens and sprayed them. He was clearly knowledgable and was professional. I will call on him again when needed.

Description of Work: Very thorough service call for chimney sweep. I didn't need a cleaning, but, now the company will check back every year to inspect. The owner also changed my smoke alarm battery for me. Very nice company, and efficient.
