Description of Work: Jason, responded quickly to my email i submitted through Angie's List. He came out to survey the property. We were have drainage issues around our pool and every time it rained, it turned into a muddy mess. I had approximately four different contractors come out to propose plans on how to fix the problem. Jason had an amazing vision for the project. Some contractors even told me I was going to have to regrade my entire backyard in order to accomplish the drainage goal. Jason came up with a great plan that incorporated the look we already had around the pool. Along with brining in his materials, he also incorporate materials, such as large rocks and boulders that we already had in our yard. He created a dry creek bed and an awesome rock bridge that goes from our patio to the pool deck. He stayed on tasked and completed within the time frame he said he would. Jason has a great vision for hardscape and landscaping. He did an outstanding job and we are very pleased with the work. He has also followed up several times making sure everything is functional. I would definitely recommend him for your hardscape and landscaping needs.

Description of Work: After having so many false starts with our home landscaping I have finally found someone whose work has exceeded my expectations. He installed a drip system, moved some trees, mulched, pruned and redid an area that I had a large landscape company do last year. I want to keep him all to myself but it is only fair that I let others know of his excellent work! Thanks Jason.....and you had better not be too busy when I need you again!

The was a bit of a hickup due to a lost phone at the start of our interaction but thereafter Jason was very responsive and provided alot of quality advice about how to best accommodate our needs while maximizing our budget. The work was undertaken exactly as promised (weather not withstanding) and we are very happy with the outcome. I would certainly recommend Jason Licksko at Landscape Creations for landscaping, pathway and other outdoor work here in Nashvile

 + -1 moreoverall, we are pleased with the work done. Jason came up with a very creative way to made our budget stretch on the project, which we really appreciated. He made a lot of good suggestions throughout, instead of expecting me to dictate every little detail which some other landscapers I have encountered seem to expect. He is very responsive, most of the time returning messages within an hour or less. our only issue was communication about the timing of when the work would take place. the project was put off for several weeks for various (valid) reasons - weather, etc. the fact that it had to be delayed wasn't the issue, it is that the delay was not proactively communicated to us. we would agree on a day, no one would show up, and only after calling myself did I find out the reason. we would have preferred to have been contacted that day to be told the project would have to be put off because of "x" and then we would have felt informed.
Description of Work: planted approx 100 plants of varying sizes in a section of our property that we want to go back to natural. also included removing some bushes that were outgrowing their space and relocting them.

 + 2 moreOverall I was very pleased with the work that was completed. It was a good value for the work, and Jason put a nice touch on my plans. There were a couple of dates and times that Jason needed to be changed, but he called ahead of time to make sure it was okay. I would use Landscape Creations again.
Description of Work: I had a professional landscape plan for my backyard that I wanted to be implemented in the Fall. It was a big plan which needed to be implemented in phases according to my budget. I called Landscape Creations, and Jason promptly came out to my house to analyze my plans and the lay of the land. We discussed my budget, and he came back with an itemized estimate which I could then prioritize. After we agreed on the work, Landscape Creations went to work, and completed it in around two weeks. Jason was fun to work with, and he created a nice landscape. The job included bringing in topsoil, grading, transplanting six white pines, creating both some foundation beds and some terraced stonework garden beds. A gravel terrace was installed with gravel pathways and a rock bed drainage way. Sod and various plants were installed, and the existing irrigation system was altered to sustain the new landscape.

We opted for another company simply due to time constraints, however, we were very impressed with his knowledge of the trees and plants we discussed with him as well as his experience. We were in a hurry so timing was not perfect. I would recommend. Timely, knowledgeable, professional.

 + 0 moreI called this contractor and left a voice mail detailing the type of service we were looking into. Jason called me back promptly, we had a nice conversation but I was struck by a comment he made that he "normally only gets business from word-of-mouth referrals" when I told him I got his name and contact information from Angie's List. Nevertheless, we scheduled a time that worked for both of our schedules for him to come out. I waited and waited to no avail. He never showed up and never called to explain why he failed to appear for our appointment. He never even called me for directions. My job wasn't as big as the ones listed on these other reports, so maybe we weren't worth his time. I rated a "fair" on responsiveness as he did return my original phone call, when I had called two other contractors and they had not even returned the initial phone call. And I thought most landscapers would be wanting business in the midst of this "down" economy. I guess not.
Description of Work: Needed an estimate for stone border around 4,000SF garden and removal / replacement of old bushes.

 + -1 moreJason was the first to respond to my call. He came, he did the work, he charged me less than he has estimated, because, he said, my existing apparatus was very good. He repaired three leaks, put in a new timer, and explained patiently how it worked and let me try it out for myself. I paid him what he charged and added a $50 tip, because it was all such a pleasant experience. Please ignore my first grading system and know that I was very happy with the work of this company and plan to use them in the future.
Description of Work: I have already submitted a very favorable report. Unfortunately, in grading I mistook the far right for the best possible. Please see my previous report.

 + 4 moreThey have been here twice to discuss the project. He did a complete breakdown of the costs. There were a couple of things that we hadn't considered and he had some good creative ideas such as the fire pit, which my husband has always wanted. It was very affordable to incorporate the ideas that he had. We were very pleased with the estimate and better than what we had expected. He was very personable and easy to get along with. He was looking out for the fact that we did want to stay on budget so he did offer some suggestions for some ways to do some things and he took advantage of what we already had in place, which was nice. He was respectful of our budget and didn't try to push us to do extra stuff. He wasn't high pressure. He was low key and friendly. He spent 3 or 4 hours with my husband going around the property to make sure that he knew what we wanted, which was pretty impressive. He came right on time and responded each time within 24 hours.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from Landscaping Creations and they are coming today to start work. They are going to do landscaping of our front yard and side of our house, build a fire pit and start a new dock on our lake. They will be installing a bed and a drip irrigation system. mulch everything including 30ish plants and large trees.

The quality of the work is excellent, e.g. the fence is screwed together vs nailed, the stone / block work is excellent, and his way with plants. The job took about 3 weeks from demolition to lawn remediation. The cleanup was spotless. Jason has since stopped by to see how all the plants are doing, and overall treated our home as if he were doing it for himself. I highly recommend you call him.
Description of Work: LC completely redid our back courtyard / patio, added 85' of decorative block wall, a cedar box fence, provided an additional 30' block wall near the front of the house and two other walls totaling approximately 30'. All old fencing, timbers, plants we didn't wish to keep etc. Additional topsoil was brought in, and the lawn was remedied where it had been affected by construction. I also need to mention Jason put in drip irrigation in the back courtyard and in the front flower beds. In addition, there was budget for new plants.
