Description of Work: Showed up on time. Crew of 4 loaded and worked until all the furniture was loaded.Great group of guys to work with. After all was unpacked in my new location, I don't remember anything getting damaged.

Description of Work: We contracted with East Tennessee Movers to move to our new home. The truck and staff were on time and the owner of the firm stayed with the crew the entire day. He was cognizant that this is a paid by the hour job and ensured that his crew worked efficiently and effectively. Additionally, great care was taken by the crew to ensure that no movement, in or out, of either house bumped into any walls, or door frames. There were no scratches to anything and I would highly recommend them to others who need moving services.

Description of Work: We hired East Tennessee Movers to move our entire three bedroom house contents including a large and heavy assortment of shop tools in September. They were prompt and courteous and the move took two full days over a distance of about eight miles. I found no damage to any of our furniture because they were VERY careful. We were happy that we hired them.

Description of Work: They loaded and moved a 3 bedroom household including queen sofa bed. Driving distance of 1 hour between homes. When getting the estimate, the owner was very professional and courteous. Best pricing and most willing to work with my timetable than any of the other movers I called. The workers were on time and very careful about what they were doing. They were also professional and courteous. The time it took for the furniture to come out of the home went much quicker than estimated. Unloading started out quickly, but it seemed as they realized they were going to finish sooner that estimated, they really slowed down. They took more and longer smoke breaks. They were very considerate to keep up with thier cigarette butts and not just throw them on the ground. All in all, the job went well. I would recommend them as movers, just watch the clock.

 + -1 moreI called multiple moving companies to request an estimate on moving a large safe from a sporting goods store in Johnson City, TN to my home in Bristol, VA. I received an estimate as high as $550 and as low as $350. When I called East Tenn Movers, a receptionist answered and gathered detailed information and promised to have someone contact me back shortly with an estimate and to schedule service. Within 30-45 minutes, my call was returned and service was scheduled for the same day, that evening. The pricing structure was based on the amount of time required to complete the move - and the terms of the pricing was clearly explained. The workers arrived on time and the team worked effectively together to move a very heavy, awkward safe into my home. The workers were very careful to make sure no damage occurred to my home or to the safe being moved during the process. Bottom line = I could not have been more pleased with my experience working with this company. I plan to move shortly, and I will be calling them again.
