Description of Work: Dale's provides us with an annual and sometimes bi-annual service to maintain our system. They have always been professional and punctual. The last date of our service is approximate--I don't remember the exact date.

Description of Work: Appointment was for a winter check up and cleaning. Weather was too cold to complete the cleaning (yet I still paid for it) and I was also charged for a new capacitor and one other service which was not approved or asked before they did it. I should have canceled the check but I was too slow.

Description of Work: installed a new air conditioner/heater.

Description of Work: checked the air conditioning to see why it wasn't working properly. They found the problem easily and fixed it to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: They always did a fine job. No problems over the course of about 10 years. We had our old AC/Heating unit serviced twice a year. However when we bought a new furnace, it was with a different company so we no longer use Dales. They made it possible for us to limp by for many years with a very old unit though. We did appreciate their service!

Description of Work: Diagnostic service to find out why air conditioner quit working. Found that a pipe from condensation pump was clogged. Cleaned out pipe. Unit works fine now. Service technician was one of the best I've ever encountered - professional, friendly, competent. Although the cost seemed a little pricey, he was probably worth it!

Description of Work: I found Dale's to be professional and polite, however, I have no idea how the replacement parts, repair and cleaning were priced. Numbers were thrown at me without my receiving any breakdown of parts costs or labor charges. I felt I had no options, no help understanding whether or not the repair would eliminate future issues and no follow up call or visit to make sure everything is working smoothly. I do not feel confident about the entire repair and do not know if I might have costly problems in the future.

Description of Work: I am pretty pleased with this company. Initially I called them because we kept having issues with our unit freezing up when the outside temperatures would soar. They came out diagnosed and supposedly fixed the problem telling us they had to install a special part that would allow us to keep the thermostat set low to keep the house really cool. The unit continued to freeze up and they told us the manufacturer of the unit said with our model you have to install an additional part for it to accomplish what we wanted. When we objected stating they had told us the initial part would fix the problem they put it on at their expense. I set up a biannual service contract (Fall and Spring) to service my inside and outside units. Somehow they forgot about my Fall service which was actually done several months later. I am hoping that does not occur again.

Description of Work: Regular fall inspection. A modification to the system was suggested which will be done in the spring. This service was performed with an Angie's bargain.

Description of Work: They did a repair on an existing unit and then put a new one into it.

Description of Work: Replaced some type of coolant canister. The service call itself went just fine, however, I chose to wait five days for the first available on a Monday because I didn't want to pay the steep after hours charge. On Monday I stayed home from work to wait for the technician because first available was supposed to be by 8am. No one came, no one called. When I finally called them at 11:30am, I was told someone had switched my appointment time but no one knew why. Again, no one called me with this switch. The tech finally got there at 5:30, but was going to charge me the after hours price! Thankfully that was settled rather quickly but the communication was haphazard and lacking. I'm not certain I'd use them again.
