I contacted Dale's and requested a quote for replacement of my home's HVAC unit. Within a few days Chris Coleman came to my house to provide a quote. Chris was very thorough and professional. He asked for specifics about my house then went into the crawl space to check and measure ductwork. He also checked my HVAC filter and return duct. He used a gee-whiz app on his tablet to show me the return air duct was not large enough for my house. Chris quoted a price for replacement of the unit and return duct and asked if I had any other questions. He was not pushy or put out when I said I intended to get a quote from a competitor. Upon contacting a local competitor for a quote the decision to go with Dale's was easy. Chris Coleman's professional demeanor and slightly better price quote was a winning combination. The installation was scheduled later that same week. The installers arrived on time and did a great job removing and hauling away the old unit and installing the new one. The three guys were friendly and courteous and made sure I was satisfied with the installation before they left that day. I am very impressed with Dale's Heating and Air and highly recommend their service to all.

The tech determined what it was (whole house filter in backwards) and then I asked to have the outside coils cleaned on the heat pump, which he did. He was very thorough in checking the AC unit and tightened some electrical connections.

Went fine...explained the workings of the thermostat. Was satisfied.

They've kept our AC running in tip top shape. They come out whenever, to service the unit. Very responsive and professional. They are good people, good workers. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Dale's found a wrench jammed in the motor. I watched them pull it out. The previous company I used to clean my units must have left it there. Dales also found an issue with a contact freezing which likely added life to my unit.

He actually gave me a menu of price choices, from the gold treatment to the band aid fix. We chose the band aid option. We have used him over and over and we are always happy with him.

They gave us an estimate. We went with someone else who bid lower but this company was very professional and we wonder if we should have gone with them.

They actually came back two days later after my propane guy hooked up the propane and made sure everything was running great and didn't charge me. Interactions were very nice, I asked stupid questions and they answered them, it was really great. The work turned out awesome, I have a new heater. They were actually five minutes early and called before they came.

Great. The tech, Andrew, came out at the scheduled time and reviewed the situation. He advised what was needed and that he'd follow up with the office to get the estimate for the part. The office called shortly after with the cost. The cost was fair and reasonable. Andrew came back to do the work and walked through what needed to be done and what was done. Great overall experience

I purchased two of the annual Angie's List discount system check up packages, one for each system based on the ratings of Angie's List. The technician came out and performed the service. He was very professional and on-time. The two services cost $155 each for a total of $310. However, the technician "claimed" I had two Freon leaks, one in each unit. He filled one with 2 pounds of Freon and then replaced a Schrader valve. He also did a leak test on my older system and stated I needed a TCV or TXV (something like this) replacement at an estimated cost of $1,100. At this time I said I would rather have a quote on a new heat exchanger since the one I had was dated 2002. He arranged for his sales person to come out on the 30th of March. In the meantime I called two competitors to come quote/look at the system and the second one that came, looked over the system again and found NO leaks and nothing wrong with my system. He said he would quote me a new heat exchanger if that is what I wanted, but mine was fine. Additionally, the same tune-up service with the second company was 1/2 the cost of Dale's. Even the quote of the replacement head exchanger, if that is the way I would have gone was 40% lower than Dale's. They are extremely over priced compared to the competition in the Chattanooga area. Obviously either the Dale's technician is incompetent or being dishonest to try and gain business/commissions for his part of the sales process. I don't do business with dishonest companies and would advise anyone to get a second opinion before proceeding with any purchase from Dale's. I won't be renewing my annual service agreement next year and wish I had never bought it.

Excellent! Technician showed up right on time, very courteous and professional. Quickly found the problem (damaged wiring in exterior unit due to vibrations and age). Repaired the wiring, examined the coils, asked about previous cleanings and suggested cleaning the coils now and next summer. I have called Dale's for all our Heat and A/C issues since we purchased this home, and have been extremely pleased with each visit.

30 to 60 days later, it still wasn't performing correctly. We had a massive electric bill. They came back out and did something else. Within a couple of months, we had to replace the unit. I can't really fault them. Whatever was wrong, they just weren't able to fix it. It wasn't just a good unit. Even though we paid a lot of money for it, it only lasted 6 years. It was not a good quality product. Maybe somebody should've paid closer attention and said that we shouldn't try to fix this piece of junk. They came when they said they were going to. I can't say I wasn't happy with them. It's just that we've been happier with the other folks we ended up doing business with.

It went great. There were no problems or anything, but nothing stands out as being horrible or exceptional. It was just good service. We were price shopping before we chose them. We chose them because they ended up being the better priced. Quality was good. I probably would use them again.

We were using them for yearly maintenance. Then we had an issue and they recommended replacing the air conditioning unit. So we got a second opinion and instead of spending $8,000 to replace it, the second company was able to repair it for $700. I wasn't impressed with them saying it had to be replaced. They were trying to sell a new air conditioning system when it wasn't required. They either didn't have the right knowledge or they were trying to rip me off. I didn't like that.

It was very satisfactory. They were on time. They do an awesome job. I hope this doesn't bring me bad luck and now I need them. There are people that do cheaper than they do, that do an awesome job also. They came I think the very day. When they say they are coming, they come right away.

First of all these people answer their phone on the weekends. I called on a Saturday to report my a/c wasn't cooling. I had just hung up when Tanner from Dale's called and we discussed what the system was doing or not doing. I agreed to monitor the a/c to see if there was any change. There wasn't any change so I made arrangements for someone to come out the next day.(Sunday) Tanner came out and found a Freon leak in short order. He repaired the leak and recharged the system. Everyone I have dealt with at Dale's is just outstanding!!!! I have used them several times and have always been satisfied.

Caleb was very courteous and very professional. Cleaned up water and replaced pump. Will use again if need arises.
