After thinking about the job for a few minutes I called them back and asked what the cost would be if I brought the locks into their store. They said it would be less than half the previous quote. I took the locks to their store and they made the changes I wanted for $44. I was not only pleased about the savings but was impressed with the professionalism of the two men working. This is the first time I have used their services. When I have another lock job I will use them again.
Description of Work: Reconfigure 4 new deadbolt locks so that they use the same key as the 5th lock. Also cut one additional key.

 + -1 moreI had a terrible experience with Pop-a-Lock and after three trips to my house two of the three locks they changed were not working. I did call their locksmith directly after the first time, as he requested, and for the fourth call I tried both him and the Pop-a-Lock number and got no answer. I gave up and found Oak Ridge Locksmith on Angie's List. Both on the phone and in person they were cordial and knowledgeable. They came out promptly, fixed my locks correctly and went the extra mile in every way to inform me.
Description of Work: Fixed two outside door locks that had been botched by Pop-a-Lock. Made two extra keys for my security door.

 + -1 moreWe called the company on a Tuesday to see if they could perform the work on Wednesday. They were courteous and polite on the phone, and were able to have someone stop out on Wednesday. The locksmiths showed up as scheduled, they were very courteous while at the house, and they completed all of the work promptly. One of the locks they rekeyed was an older model lock, so they took the time to explain to us the nuances of this type of lock to ensure it did not cause us any problems (if used improperly, you could easily lock yourself out without knowing it). They re-confirmed everything was to our satisfaction before they left the house. This is the second time we have used Oak Ridge Locksmiths this year, and our experience both times was exceptional.
Description of Work: Used Oak Ridge Locksmiths to re-key (4) re-keyed in a house we just purchased.
