The guy was very prompt, efficient and fixed my door knob and dead bolt from tools he carried in his truck. I liked the fact that he didn't have to travel somewhere else to find parts. Everything he needed was in his truck.

When I contacted Oak Ridge Locksmith, based on reviews on Angie's List, I spoke with the owner Keith Kors. He was heavily scheduled with other work but told me he would come today (Fourth of July holiday) if that was okay with me. I thought that was exceptional service and very nice of him to give up some of his holiday to help me. I was also pleased that he is licensed, bonded and insured. That was important to me. Keith explained everything including costs before beginning and completed the work in good time. He went over the bill with me and stressed that he would be glad to come back if I had any problems at all with any of the work he had done no matter how much time had elapsed. He was very professional and considerate. I thought his prices were more than fair. Less than $400 for all the work he did at my house, and on a holiday as well, is very reasonable. I have definitely found the locksmith I will always use.

We use Oak Ridge Locksmith for both business and personal lock and door issues. Pricing is fair, especially considering the exceptional service and great attitude. We find them to be a very trustworthy, locally owned and operated business. Wouldn't use anyone else.

Gavin was fantastic! Service was so much better than other providers. In fact, he even added a 3-inch screw at top door hinge so door would open and close easily! Oh yes, on time, professional and friendly. I would definitely use this business again.

Service provider was excellent! I could not have asked for better service. I was treated with kindness and the utmost professionalism. The appointment was easy to set up, I received a phone call when the service provider found he would be 5 minutes late (only 5 minutes!), and the repair was quick and well done. Everything was explained to me very well. The cost was very reasonable and in line with what I expected. I will use them any time in the future I need locksmith services, and I will recommend them to anyone.

The 3 number rotary combination lock on my Sentry firesafe would not open when the correct combination was put in. Keith from Oak Ridge Locksmith came at the agreed time to my house and evaluated the safe. He got right to work and after making a correction in the way I was using the "override" key he opened the safe without further problems. The safe door bolt mechanism was a little balky and Keith exercised it until it worked correctly. He recommended that we open and close the safe at least once a month just to keep the door bolt mechanism working properly. Some corrosion can take place in damp basements and that can contribute to the problem I was having with the lock on the safe. I was very pleased with the reasonable price, professional service and manner that Keith showed.

They arrived on time, and performed exactly what I needed: a full re-key of my house. Very professional, in and out quick, with the job done well. Would recommend to anyone.

We chose them because of Angie's List. This was the first time we used them. They showed up within hours after we called them. He was a nice guy, did a real quick job and was a pleasure to work with.

They were very nice and very professional. They explained everything to me after they were done. They were good. The locks they worked are perfect. I have no problems with any of the tumblers or anything like that.

They have been around since Oak Ridge and they are the locksmith in town. Everybody uses them, they do a good job, at a reasonable price, they have no competition, they started in 1959 when the government started selling Oak Ridge to private owners, and have been around ever since. They do a good job, do the work, and they're prompt. The fellow who stared the business has been very good. I'd call them tomorrow if I needed them. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

I moved into a townhouse where several generations of tenants had damaged and doctored locks. Didn't even have keys for two of the four locks in the house (they were from different manufacturers). Keith, the owner, was prompt- actually early to our appointment. Went right to work while I worked. He repaired a damaged front door look that had been both visually and physically damaged through several generations of poor repairs. Rekeyed all locks. Answered several questions about two special locks on french doors I wasn't familiar with. VERY reasonable pricing (I had just had something similar done at my old home in Memphis and paid twice what Keith charged me.) Seems very trustworthy and highly competent. I highly recommend this service provider.

I was really pleased with work and advice I received from Oak Ridge Locksmiths. While changing the locks for new keys, they also made several inexpensive changes that would improve safety. They did not try to sell me expensive new locks, but found parts for the old ones and by adding lubrication to the old locks, my doors now work better than they have in years. They took time to test and retest the locks to make sure they functioned well before they left.

I am really happy with him and his company. They are still working so I haven't received the bill yet. They have really done a great job. I appreciate the fact that they have made some changes that will make my locks safer. They have given me some advice about how to make my home safer and I am grateful to them for that.

He arrived very promptly (actually ten minutes early). He was very efficient, friendly, and honest in his recommendations. Shortly after the work was done, my wife locked herself out of the house and he came back free of charge.

When we moved into our house, the keys barely worked (had to jiggle them, would get stuck in the lock, etc.). We joking said that the keys were part of the security system - no one could pick them! Then, the only good key finally broke. We called Oak Ridge Locksmith - they came out in less than an hour, re-keyed the front door, and replaced the lock on the back door (which we were never able to use!). He even fixed the door to keep it from springing open when closed hard. The service man was so nice, and very professional. I noticed that his uniform looked like a police uniform - he stated that they had designed their uniforms to have the same silhouette and color as police officers, so that when responding to locked cars at night, they looked more official, for both their own and the client's safety. That attention to detail and safety is exactly why I recommend them.

I've used Oak Ridge Locksmith twice--both times having locked my keys in my car at my apartment complex outside normal business hours. Both times, ORL came in about fifteen or twenty minutes in a clearly marked van and politely, professionally, and competently got my car unlocked. Both times were $50 (quite reasonable). The first time, the locksmith was very polite, and even gave me a card for a discount my next time using them (which I forgot about the next time!). He definitely made me comfortable and confident in his abilities. He also explained that normally their policy is to check the ID of the caller (to prevent break-ins), but because I'd (correctly) said that the keys were locked in the trunk (a hidden and non-obvious place), he didn't have to check. The second time was at night in the middle of winter--it was freezing, and I'd been waiting outside for the locksmith to arrive (since my apartment keys were with my car keys, locked in the car). The locksmith offered to let me wait in his van (which I gladly accepted), and even mentioned (based on the make and model of the car) the idea of getting a door key (one that would unlock but not start the car that I could hide under my license plate). I fully intend (when I remember to get around to it) to get ORL to make me such a key. I've been extremely satisfied with their service. My only regret is that I forgot to save my receipts, since I later learned my car insurance would've paid for that service.
