I thought it was the dishwasher and tried to fix it myself. That didn't work. Called Hayden Plumbing after receiving very positive verbal reviews of his services. I double checked Angie's list and sure enough he has an "A" rating. Brian Hayden not only worked me into his busy schedule, he cleared the blockage by snaking from the roof. He made sure everything was working an draining properly. He even inspected the basement to make sure all the pipes were ok after the fix. He even fixed the slow drain in the bathroom. I plan on using Hayden anytime I need a plumber.

Very prompt and efficient, even though Mr. Hayden was extremely busy and heavily booked.

It was a marvelous experience, Mr. Hayden is very professional. He arrived on time and went straight to work.

Brian is very good. He is pretty reasonable. He is a very good guy, dependable, reasonable and he knows what he is doing.

(something you don't see too often). He spent 2.5 hours on this job. We spent $340.00, which was well worth it. I would definately use Hayden's Plumbing again if needed and would highly recommend them to anyone.

My old water heater, an extremely large one for a residence, that was part of a solar hot water heating system 25 years ago, needed replacing. It was very corroded around the hot water outlet and had started to seep water. I called Brian, who I've used before. He came out to assess the job. We agreed it was not a job for one man. He would provide an assistant and I would be available as needed. We set up a time and he showed up at the time agreed upon. While the old heater drained he put in two new valves so we could turn on the water to the house as the old heater was replaced. The work went smoothly. Our biggest struggle was getting the old one out onto a dolly and up a hill (relatively gradual) to a pickup truck to be hauled away. It took all three of us; none of us under 55. We estimated the thing weighed between 400 & 500 lbs. The new heater by comparison was a cinch to install. Brian and his helper put it in place and Brian hooked it up. He finished it off and turned it on without any problem. When the helper came back from dropping the old heater at a local metal recycler, he informed us that they weighed it in at 710 lbs!!! I feel the whole experience was worth the cost (over half for the new heater and parts). They worked their tails off, and the whole process took ~ 4 hours.

Tuesday night I had only tepid water. I called Mr. Hayden early Wednesday morning, and he came within an hour to take a look. Although he was willing to trace down the problem and replace old parts (and I have full confidence that he could have), I preferred to replace the entire unit. The water heater had a lot of age on it, it is indoors and a leak would have serious consequences. By lunchtime I had a new water heater plus a good understanding of its workings.

Called Brian Hayden and he promptly came by and performed the requested service (to clear restricted small diameter drain line from washer to connection to large diameter sewer drain). This is the second time that I used Brian. He is very knowledgeable about the plumbing and drain systems used in the Oak Ridge area and performed the service in a very professional manner.

Another plumber told us that he would have to do extensive repairs to the line to fix this leak. Mr. Hayden just came out, fixed the leak easily, and only charged his normal rate for a service call.

I had two "economy" toilets that were prone to clogging so I had them replaced. I purchased the replacements myself at a home improvement store and had Brian install them. He is a true professional. He always does a first class job at a reasonable price. I have used him 10-12 times over the years and always have been 100% satisfied. As far as I know, he mostly works in the Oak Ridge area.

I called and left a description of work that I wanted completed. The person taking the message said I would be contacted. The call was never returned.

We discovered a leak from the T-P valve on the hot water heater in late afternoon. We turned off the power and the water, and phoned Hayden. He came out the next morning and investigated the possible reasons why the T-P valve could be leaking. He did some tests to determine whether there were problems with excessive temperature or pressure, and explained what he was doing and why. When he found no temperature or pressure problems, he concluded that the valve must have failed due to a defect, and he replaced it with a part from his truck. Since the water heater was still under warranty, we paid only for his labor, and he took care of returning the failed part for a refund.

Good experience. Prompt response to initial phone call. Willing to come out same day even though not an emergency. Settled on first thing next morning. Came on time and called ahead that he was about to leave. How often does that happen?! He analyzed the situation and we discussed the options. Did not try to push me to a high priced option (new washer box and ball valves). He had the parts in his van and the whole job took less than an hour. He actually gave some pointers on what to look for when opening and closing the main supply valve (tighten the packing nut if it starts to drip, but don't force). I mentioned I had found him (basically he and his wife are the business) on Angie's List and apparently I was the first to say that I had. Nice to know that his business model isn't being influenced by Internet ratings.

Prompt response, since it was an emergency. Very courteous and reasonable priced.

They were very honest, reliable, and quick to respond. They were a company who had a reputation that all companies would love to have, and it only took twenty minutes to do the job and it was great. We will always use their services.

I was very much satisfied with their work and the guy was helpful and didn t try to over charge me or anything like that. They were trustworthy and ran a good business so they try to get the job done right and done fast for our convenience. Their rates have always been very reasonable and their work was reliable.

I have experienced the good work this guy does. He was good to deal with and he got things done in a fair amount of time. He was responsive to my phone calls. What more could a person ask for. Need I say more?

One of the things that I admire about this company was the fact that they seemed to be more into saving me money and not spending it. They took apart the faucet and it's foundation for a thorough inspection. They informed us that the problem was minor and they could rebuild the system, which was cheaper than replacing it. I thought that was honesty.

I realized that it was a very undesirable job, but these plumbers have been doing our line for years now. They were reliable and did very good work. They worked quickly and safely, and we really enjoyed their services.

Hayden Plumbing provided great service. They were very respectful and friendly. Within a day after I called, they had the problem fixed. I have used them in the past to fix our sewer system because I knew they did great work.

He was polite and informed us of every step that he was taking to get the job done. He also showed us what he did and gave us all of the used parts that were being replaced. He was very honest which was why we used them and he was also very tidy.
