I would use them again.

I thought Mark was great and a really chill kind of guy. The only reason I hestitate to give him a perfect score is because I felt, because I'm a woman and met with him by myself, that he didn't give me as many details as I would have liked about the process, materials, quality, etc. I didn't get much of a breakdown, just broad brush strokes. I only noticed because when I had Steve McKinney of McClanahan Fencing come over to give me another estimate (with my boyfriend present), he told us so much more because he said he felt like his customers should be as well-informed as possible (though, while he was saying this he was talking to my boyfriend instead of me even though I had called him, it was my house, and I would be paying for the service-- gotta love the south!!). It might have been that Mark didn't think I'd want to know more details because I'm not an expert and he didn't want to confuse me. I totally understand that. But I guess personally I just appreciate a lot of "industry" information, even if it's confusing, so I can make the absolute most informed choice possible. But other than that, Mark was really professional, knowledgable, easy to talk to, and fair on pricing. He even called about two weeks after he'd given me the estimate to follow up, which I appreciated. I'm considering a job somewhere in the $1800-$3100 range. I haven't decided who of the two to use yet; I'm waiting until I have the financing to pay for it. I may still decide to go with Mark and I'm sure that if I do I'll be satisfied with the final product, but I just recommend that if you work with him that you ask a lot of questions!

Mark Roop from Pro-Line Fence gave us an estimate on the type of fence we wanted installed. We wanted a cedar fence with pressure treated posts. His estimate was higher than the other two estimates we received, however we pointed out to him that his measurement of one length of our yard was greater than the measurements of the other contractors and our own measurements. Mr. Roop recalibrated his measuring device and recalculated the distance and agreed it had been wrong. He then changed the estimate based on the new measurement. The Pro-Line estimate was still higher than the other estimates but much closer and we felt more comfortable with the level of professionalism and reliability that Pro-Line offered. We agreed on a date for the fence to be installed, but Mr. Roop called us the day before and apologized for the need to delay the installation one day. They had been delayed on another project. This is just a hazard of this type of work and we had just been through a spring with very bad weather, so we understood. The following day, Mr. Roop and the workers showed up early and began the fence installation. The team of workers for Pro-Line were so organized, and knew exactly what to do. It was amazing to watch their progress. They completed the installation in one day. As part of the job, they cut down a very large number of tree branches and piled them on our curb for eventual removal. This saved us the labor of cutting all of the branches off ourselves, and was probably worth the difference of their higher estimate by itself. At the end of the day the workers took everything ( all debris,etc.) away, and we had a very nice fence. Everyone who has seen it tells us how great it looks. Our backyard seems like a private oasis now, and we comment frequently about how worthwhile an investment the fence has been for our home.

Excellent...small snafu's but all were fixed...only a few items left on very short, very easy punch list.

We needed a fence for our backyard shortly after moving in and were interested in a very specific fence type, etc. We received several quotes from different fencing contractors and while Pro-Line wasn't the cheapest, they seemed in line with estimates from others for the same fence description, yard, size, etc. We had a dog who was used to accessing the back yard of our previous home via a dog door, and were in a hurry to get a fence installed. Mark scheduled the installation but then called when he had a cancellation in order to work us in more quickly. The installation was very professional and quickly performed. I'd recommend Pro-Line to anyone.
