Worley & Son

Our experience with the Worleys was nothing but positive. There are a lot of parameters to judge contractors by. In the end the work is what stays with you and we have been very pleased with the workmanship. Our screened in porch was customized for us for easy maintenance and that's a biggie for screened areas that are large. But the Worleys were also honest, they came when they said they would, they completed the work when they said they would, and they were respectful of both our house and its occupants. And the work was very fairly priced. We are very pleased to recommend them to anyone needing handymen with broad experience and expertise.

Randy promptly returned my call inquiring about a roof repair and repair to the ceiling below the leak at our rental property. He was very professional and said he could be out the next day (a Saturday) to give an estimate. However, since we had already scheduled with the tenant to be there on Sunday I asked if he could do Sunday instead and he was so kind to agree. He promptly arrived for the estimate and was able to complete the work the following morning. Since we just moved back to the area from the east coast that week, we really appreciated Randy's professionalism and ability to make solve this issue for us seamlessly. People like Randy are why we moved back to the area. We will definitely be calling him for our future needs.

Worley & Son were able to do ALL the repairs that I needed done. Instead of having to call in 4 different people, they were able to do the painting, carpentry, electrical and plumbing which saved me a lot of time and money. They were here when they said they would be and they got the job done in the time they said it would be done. They know how to do it all. And they do quality work. They are committed to quality and take pride in what they do. And it was really wonderful to see a father and son working together.

I had trouble finding someone to install a frameless shower door. Three plumbers and two local glass places wouldn't touch the job. Even Home Depot's contractors wouldn't do it...even though we bought the door from their store! I was at wits-end when I called Worley and Son. They said it wouldn't be a problem and scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday. Allen showed up at our agreed upon time. He was very respectful of our home (took off shoes, used dropcloth on bathroom floor, cleaned up after the job - - including removing the shipping box the door came in). The job was done in a timely manner and was professional. Amazing job! As a side note, after the job was done, we found out there was a family emergency and he was headed to the hospital after our job. You never would have known that was the case - - that's how professional he was. We are from out of state and before today's experience, we didn't care much for the contractors that have been doing work for us. We have found our handyman/contractor for future jobs. If you are looking for someone, look no further!

I was quite disappointed as I needed a hot water installed this past week and called Randy to see if this is something he could do. He never returned my call. If he couldn't do it or didn't want to do it, all he had to do was return my call and tell me so. I am getting ready to move and need a handyman for several projects and had planned on calling Randy, but I won't be calling him now and will be looking for someone new. I am so very disappointed by this.I thought I had found my go to guy. :(

The Worley's are fantastic. They are very personable, their communication of arrival times, etc was perfect. When they arrived, they were two of the most polite individuals you'll ever meet. Their prices for all of their work was very reasonable and all of their work listed above was done perfectly. I would use these guys again for any issue I had in my home. I recommend them highly.

I called Worley & Son based on the review on Angies list. Alan Worley arrived right on time, completed the work we had discussed over the phone and left the work sites spotless. ( he brought his own vacuum! ) Throughout the day he kept me posted on progress and stayed within his over the phone quote. I am so thrilled with my experience with him and Angies list!

Randy was great. He was able to come an hour after I called him. They had everything they needed including a tarp to cover my bed. I will definitly call them again.

Randy and his son are great - they work well together, and they do great work and know the right way to do things! They are respectful and professional and I will have them back to do more work!

I needed two decks repaired, one off the master bedroom, and one off the family room kitchen. I also need the dryer vents cleaned and inspected and a check on the master bathroom faucets for possible leaking. spoke by phone to Worley who said he'd review it in a day or two. I also sent him an email with what needed to be done and confirmed my contact information.I Resent an email two weeks later, questioning why he hasn't shown up. Never heard from him again. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed.

I called Mr. Worley and explained what our problem was. I had to call a second time and he asked me to send him an email. I had to call again as I did not hear anything from him after I send the email. He and his son finally came to our house to see the problem (leak from roof had come thru the ceiling and had water and paint damage). They worked several hours on that day and got the damage repaired. They did an excellent job. The new paint matched perfectly. I then asked Mr. Worley if he did outside work such as painting the trim around windows and painting the front door. He said they did and would come by our house by Saturday and give an estimate on doing that work. I HAVE NOT HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM MR. WORLEY, so i'm not 100% sure that I would ever use him again. If he gives someone his word that he will do what he says he will do, then he should do it. He only lives about 2 miles from my house.

As previously stated, I contacted Randy on Thursday and explained the work that I needed done; he gave me a time and date for two days later to perform the work. He arrived as planned and completed the work quickly. When I contacted Randy, I did not realize that I knew him, but when discussing the work, realized that that he had helped me with some work about 8 years ago at a different residence. I would highly recommend Worley & Son from past experience as well as my experience today.

Last year, slate floors were installed in the kitchen. The previous bi-fold doors which were connected on a track at the top and a track at the bottom drilled into the floor were removed. I purchased replacement doors and then was told that the only way to install them would be drilling holes in the slate floor. Not wanting to do this, I spent several weeks searching for an alternative and again was told that it could not be done. On the verge of giving away the new doors, I decided to try one more time. That is when I contacted Randy Worley. He responded promptly with a timely appointment. He and his son quickly, expertly, and professionally installed the doors with no holes drilled into the slate floor. I highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again.

Very responsive to telephone call. Mr. Worley went in and inspected the job and offered a quotation. They arrived on time and completed the job within budget. Great job of communicating with me from start to finish.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of all their work. They were always on time . They were well organized and kept the area clean. I will use them again. I have already recommended them to my friends and neighbors. Refreshing experience!

Randy Worley came out that afternoon and performed the work for me even though he had taken the afternoon off to be with his out of town granddaughter. When my old kitchen counter tops and back splashes were removed, we found areas in the walls that had no drywall. He installed drywall over the studs and applied mud. The work only took an hour but he went out of his way to help a neighbor in need. His work was very professional and accomplished with great pride. He is a very nice person and one I will call on again when I need a handyman.

I needed a lot of work done, so I gave them a list and they gave me an estimate and then they jumped right in to get things done. Later I added to the list and they gave me a fair price on the extra work. I was very happy with them.

Mr. Worley did a professional job installing the water heater and I am completely satisfied with his work
