I finally called them a week later to see why they didn't show up for the appointment. He said he forgot and sounded like he was on drugs. I told him how disappointed I was that he didn't show to do the job.

Randy did an overall excellent job. He was quick to respond and continued communicating in a timely manner. He was on-time and did an excellent job cleaning up. It was obvious that his main goal was to ensure customer satisfaction. We were very happy with his work. He was very personable and a pleasure to work with and is dependable and trustworthy. We look forward to working with him again!

Randy did a great job. The ceiling tiles look great. Everything went flawlessly.

Called two weeks ago to book the service. Spoke with Alan and a time and date was set. Alan texted a week before the job saying he was double booked and offered an alternative date which was yesterday, 11/13 - 8am. I texted Alan at 8:45am - no response...and still no response as of today 11/14. What p***** me off the most is I took the day off work to have the work done!

book with him for one day 8 hours job 3 weeks in advance, scheduled to come on Nov 13,2014, Thursday. try to confirm 2 days before the job, no response, no reply. Not surprised he did not show up today , never return my phone call and voice message. my only guess is : when he is having a bigger job to do, he will dump your scheduled small job, just not reply to you and never show up. not a Professional guy.

Mr. Worley was very professional and did an excellent job on each project. I am very pleased with his work, and I highly recommend him.

They took a very difficult job of cutting through concrete block, concrete fill and rebar to install a ventilation fan in my basement. Originally they thought it was simply a concrete block, but did not complain when they discovered the block was filled. The agreed to work on a Sunday afternoon, Arrived on time and did a thoroughly professional job. The fee was more than fair and I highly recommend them and will certainly use them in the future!!

Alan did a great job. He was scheduled to be here on a Thursday morning and arrived on time and finished the job in just a couple of hours. The work looked great and me and my wife are very pleased to have those wires gone. We have used Alan and Randy before and we highly recommend Worley & Son. Best handymen we have ever used!

Randy was great at communicating with us, showing up on time for scheduled appointments, cleaning up after his crew and he did everything he promised with superb professionalism. The 3 art niches in our home didn't match our decor so we wanted them removed to hang family photos and artwork in those areas. Similarly to the art niche work, we also had a 2nd level balcony that overlooked the den we felt was unsafe for our children so we wanted it filled in, also. Randy and his team installed the framing and drywall perfectly and the areas now match the rest of the walls seamlessly. Randy also moved 2 power outlets, 2 cable outlets and 1 telephone outlet for us for a better location of our TV, Phone and Internet connections. Those jobs were also done with great professionalism. I admire Randy and his team's craftsmanship and Randy himself is an all around great guy! Several friends have come by the house since his work and commented that they would never know those areas used to be different and love the work Randy and his team did.

I emailed requesting more information (an estimate) regarding some electrical work this past Thursday but have not heard back yet. I hope i will soon because their other reviews seem great. If this changes I will update. Update 10/6/14: Mr. Whorley's son got back to me and informed me of a medical illness in the family. He apologized for the delay and came out to provide an estimate. I appreciated his professionalism and responsiveness, as well as not "running away from the issue."

I have hired Randy & his son on two occasions and both times they were nothing less than excellent in all the work performed. I find them to be trustworthy and professional.

I was sitting at our breakfast table when I heard a strange sound. I looked up and our iron chandelier was beginning to fall out of it's ceiling mount. I grabbed it just before it pulled the wiring out. I some how secured it temporarily. My wife and I commented that we don't really have a reliable handy man to call since my brother-in-law came down with cancer. So I got on Angie's list and found Worley & Son. They had an A rating and I can see why. I called them and told them about my situation. They asked if they could schedule a time a few days out. I told them I was concerned with the dangling wires. They said. "ok ,I can be there in 30 minutes." And he was. He fixed the problem and re installed. (poor mounting job by initial installer). He was extremely courteous and friendly. He might have charged me a bit of a premium. but sometimes you have to pay a little extra for promptness. It was worth it for me.

Mr. Worley was readily available. He was prompt, professional, and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely call him again!

I didn't actually hire these guys because I ended up moving right after they came out, but I really liked them and feel like they are honest and dependable people. They came out and gave me a quote for the work and I intended on hiring them, but ended up moving the following week on very short notice. So "thanks" for coming out and offering me a quote. I hope this review helps you find other people to utilize your service. I certainly would have hired you if my circumstances had been different.

Randy did a great job. He was punctual and very polite. I will definitely call him for future projects.

He put in a different stair entrance in our garage and did a great job; he did that within a day. He also did our drywall problem. He is very punctual and responsive. He is very professional and friendly. He also has a good price and good quality.

I called Mr. Worley on Friday, June 16, 2014 and asked him if he could give me a guesstimate on installing 3 overhead lights in the apartment I share with my 96 year old mother and my 40 year old daughter. He gave me a quote which was a little higher than I was prepared to pay at that time. I called him back within 30 minutes and asked him if he could install 2 of them for the given price. He told me he was headed my direction anyway and would be glad to stop by and do the 2 for me. He arrived at the quoted time and installed all 3 lights for me at the cost of 2 because he met my mom. He stated that it would come back to him by paying it forward. He was nice, kind and very professional. I would recommend him to everyone.

When my Memorial Day started with a non-functioning toilet hours before a dozen guests were to arrive, Worley and Son were the only ones willing to answer the phone and make the repair (even a 24-hour emergency plumber didn't call back). When he called, Mr. Worley asked questions to help him diagnose the problem before he arrived and in the end it took less than 30 minutes to make the repairs. Considering the situation, he could have charged a lot more for an emergency on a holiday, so I felt the price he quoted was more than fair.

I contacted Worley and Son to assess our crawlspace to see if we needed carpentry work done, in order to finish our dining room ceiling (we've had a hole in our ceiling for about six weeks, unrelated to the carpentry work). We scheduled the call for May 22. He didn't show up and didn't call. When I called him, he apologized, stating that he had completely forgotten and offered to reschedule at my convenience. I rescheduled for this morning, first thing. He no-showed again and is not answering the phone. I am completely baffled. Every vendor I've gotten from Angie's List has been excellent, as per the reviews here; whereas this experience is the opposite of Worley and Son's ratings and reviews. I am going with another contractor; reliability is the minimum, most important quality in a contractor for me.

Randy Worley was absolutely professional, punctual and a pleasure to work with. He promptly arrived to replace my shower head the same day I called and did a stellar job. I would highly recommend anyone call him for your next job.

Randy is a great handyman and would highly recommend him. He returned my call right away, was able to give me an accurate estimate over the phone based on my description of what I needed. He worked us in that same week and did an amazing job. Wall looked flawless when he was done. He was very careful to not make any messes and was very efficient to get it done in just a few hours. In addition, because the job was less work than he thought, he actually only charged me less than what he originally quoted. It's rare to find someone who puts as much honesty, quality, and hard work into his craft.

lleRandy Worley was so great. When I called, he initially said he was on a job and was possibly 4 weeks out. When I explained what I needed, he popped over THAT day! While he was here, I showed him my messed up doorbell. The next he went shopping (between his other job), called me from the shop and played all the different sorts of chimes until I heard one I liked. He came by directly after with his son...who was an absolute DOLL as well. This will be my first phone call for anything I need done in the house. He is amazing.

They responded to my call immediately! I recently came out out of the hospital and was not even able to answer the door. Mr. Worley was so kind, friendly and in this difficult and vulnerable situation I am in, made me feel safe right away. His son was very sweet and polite, too! I imagined that they would be here most of the day but they were not only punctual, but wrapped up the whole project in no time at all. I've hired them to come back and take care of a broken sink once I'm on my feet again!

Randy and his son Alan were consistently professional, courteous, conscientious, and meticulous. All work was completed for the price quoted and within the estimated time frame. To say that we are happy with their work is a huge understatement. We asked them to build the staircase, not really having anything specific in mind. They came up with a thoughtful design, based on how we intended to use it. For example, knowing that we have dogs, they made it extra wide. They also included a walkway from the bottom of the staircase to the patio, which looks amazing and makes the functionality even stronger. The overall look is really pretty and it blends in with the style of the house perfectly. The kitchen work was beyond our expectations. We started with a completely unfinished room and now we have a beautiful kitchen that looks like it has always been there. Our requests were basic, but they came up with lots of ideas on how to enhance the size and efficiency of the space, as well as aesthetics. Our focus was functional, but their meticulous and thoughtful workmanship resulted in a beautiful space that looks like it has always been there. Their attention to detail is incredible! In addition to their amazing work, Randy and Alan are extremely nice and were a pleasure to have in our home for several weeks.
