Description of Work: He came out and said it will cost a couple of thousand dollars more to dig from the yard and said it's cheaper to get someone from American Leak Detector. The service was going to cost much more than what I paid for the deal.

Description of Work: I purchased this service as a gift. I had such a positive experience with Surfin Plumbers in my own condo a couple of years ago that when I learned of my friend's need I had to share them with her. She was every bit as please and reassured as I was. Todd was polite, punctual, knowledgable and went above and beyond. I'm usually a little uneasy to recommend services because the experiences can differ sooo much but they came through for me again and now my friend also has a plumber she can trust and even enjoy calling on.

Description of Work: Changed out bathroom fixtures in order to fix a leak. Required a second trip out to resolve a small issue but they were very prompt and professional. Resolved to my satisfaction and I would use them again.

Description of Work: This was a bit of a disaster.... had to reschedule 4 times to get the job done. Broken truck, illness, broken parts. There was no additional charge for the services due to the multiple delays, which was nice but in all it took more than a month for a simple toilet repair.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to install an outside garden hose bib. They scheduled a visit for the morning between 9 & 10 and called at 10 and said they were running behind but they could come at 12. I could not make it at 12 so scheduled for 4. I was still gone when they arrived but my wife was home and was there for the estimate. The person did not even get under the house to see where to hook in the water line, instead went to a book and said he had to go off of the book rather than ensuring what he needed. Then he only told my wife what the estimate was and did not leave anything for me to look at to make my decision. It was only after they called that they emailed me an estimate and the cost was double what another company ended up charging for the work. I feel they actually inflated the price to accommodate the "Big Deal" as it was specifically called out in the estimate while we never mentioned it at all, only that we found them on Angie's List. | |I will never use them for these types of shady practices.

Description of Work: I replaced my vanity tops in both bathrooms and needed a plumber to install the faucets and reconnect the supply lines; a total of 4 faucets. As it turned out there were parts missing for the faucets and it took 4 trips to get all the faucets reconnected. While the service was excllent (no service call fee), I thought $626 to reconnect 4 faucets very high. I purchased the Angie's list voucher for $200 worth of plumbing for $99 and had to pay another $426. I guess the lack of a service call charge makes up for some of the cost. The office staff and plumber were very courteous and professional.
