Description of Work: Offered me "great deal" $24 HVAC tuneup. Proceeded to cut off my gas due to a bad heat exchanger, but didn't have a replacement available... in Tennessee in February. Other companies have indicated that they would have made me aware of the possibility of it being condemned, and made sure a replacement was available. Tab Hunter did not; they simply cut off my heat and left until they could get the part the next day. |I understand the situation, I just disagree with how their business model deals with it. Never again.

This is the 2nd time I've used them. They tell me things to do to make it cheaper or to prevent a future problem. They always give me contact numbers. I am very pleased. Description of Work: Coupon for HVAC check-up. After which the tech said there was a hole in an exhaust area and that the part should be replaced. My husband went to look at it and said it looked like someone had just screwed a hole (perfectly circular) into the metal. He got the quote and dismissed the tech. He then called another provider (a personal friend) who came and looked at it and agreed it didn't look like a rust hole, it looked man-made, and very recent. He performed the repair at half the cost of the quote and we moved on.
