The field manager came out and assesed the problems we were having. Instead of a plumber, they had a field manager come out. We have three problems and he said that we really needed a plumber for that.

That deal turned out fine. No work was done, but he was very friendly and helpful. I will be using the $200 for credit in the future since my son and I fixed the problem ourselves.

After realizing that the problem resulted with the old toilet, they returned the next day and installed a new toilet which took only about 2 hours.

When we would run the garbage disposal the water would back up into the other sink. I tried the plunger and Drano route but nothing seemed to work. Found The Surfin' Plumbers on Angie's List and noticed they had an Angie's List coupon special....$99 for $200 worth of plumbing services. Called the Surfin' Plumbers and they came out the following morning. Tom listened to what I told him about the problem we were having. He trouble shot the problem and found it to be a bad studor vent. I had never heard of one but after he replaced it with a new one and after we did some tests to prove that it was the problem , everything seems to be working perfectly. He even ran a "snake" 35 ft down the drain to make sure the pipe was free of any clogs. Tom was very friendly, professional and knows what he is talking about. In the future I would use The Surfin' Plumbers again. I feel they are a company that can be trusted.

BOUGHT THE COUPON, TRIED TO CALL PROVIDER AND HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE, GOT AN EMAIL FROM THEM ASKING FOR MY PHONE NUMBER, SENT IT. GOT NO CALL, GOT ANOTHER EMAIL ASKING FOR MY PHONE NUMBER, SENT IT, NO CALL. CALLED AGAIN 3 WEEKS LATER AND NO RETURN CALL. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I had a frozen pipe burst in an exterior wall in our garage. The pipe went to a hose faucet. The person who came to scope the work gave a few good options for resolving the issue - since the pipe wasn't really up to code. A few hours later, they ran a new pipe, capped the old one, and installed a new faucet in a way that would be resistant to problems in cold weather. Both employees were extremely courteous, helpful, and professional. The pricing was great, and overall I was very pleased with the experience.

Inspected water damage in bathroom, calcification on water heater. Explained what was required to repair damage. Needed carpenter at that time, not plumber. When I am in need of a plumber I will call the Surfin Plumbers.

I purchased this service to fix my leaking kitchen faucet and the visitor bathroom downstairs. When the plumber came, after the initial discussion on what to fix, he quoted me $547.00 fix the leaking faucet. After I called Angies List to complain, the plumber suggested he will fix the faucet for $200 for labor if I provide the faucet. I went to Lowes and purchased the faucet for $88.00, less than the approximate $347 The Surfin? Plumbers where trying to charge me. For the Toilet, I was charged $147.00 far more than another plumber charged for $54.00 for the same work. I will not use this Plumber again.

spectacular. a plumber with a personality and a real desire to help out. on time and efficient. obviously a very experienced service provider. not only will this be my plumber for future calls, but I will place the surfin plumbers on our neighborhood list for all to call!!

They came out and, after telling me it could be an hour or hour and a half job, spent 10 - 15 minutes and left. I had to ask them to please check the water pressure to be sure it was lower. They did. It had come down from 130 psi to 75 psi. I was satisfied. They honored the $99 Big Deal and what was originally a $500 process (15 minutes!!!) cost ONLY $308. As he was leaving, the plumber told me I might hear a "vibration" in the line and if so, to call them and he'd come back and adjust the valve. He said I really needed a water softener because of the hard water in Bellevue. I told him that was not in my budget. Okay. The very next day, when I turned on the water, it sounded like a fog horn was in my kitchen. It was so loud it scared my cats. I called the plumber and they said they'd come back out. They did, the next day. The same man came out and said the vibration was caused by so much scale buildup in the lines and I really needed a water softener, but he'd adjust the valve. He banged on something and adjusted the valve, I guess, and the sound stopped. He left, saying he thought it was fixed, but there was so much junk in the lines it might be that causing the noise. Within a few days, the foghorn was back. It was so loud, I had to stop a load of laundry mid-cycle because of the horrendous noise. I called again. This time, a different plumber came out. He said the valve must be bad, because it was "after all, a mechanical part and sometimes they go bad." He replaced the valve. I asked about the pressure and he said he'd reduced it to around 40 psi. Again, within a day or two, the "vibration" returned. When I flushed the toilet, washed dishes, ran water in any sink or took a shower, it sounded like a foghorn was going off in my house. I called, again, on Sunday, the 22nd. They answered the phone, to my surprise, and said they would let the "on-call" know. After some time, I got a call back saying that the company felt that someone who had already been there should come back, because they knew what was going on. The "on-call" was new, so it would be Monday before they came. I was okay with that, since it was Sunday night. I was told the plumber would come back Monday afternoon, after 3:30 (I had an appointment until then.) At 4:15 or so, I got a phone call from the second plumber who had come out saying that he'd talked to the manufacturer and that I needed a stepped-up version of the valve - one that could handle higher pressure. .....except it would have to be over-nighted to them. He would come on Tuesday morning to replace it. I said okay. Tuesday, Christmas Eve, the plumber came back and replaced the valve. He said that "everyone out here" has this problem and that the water pressure must be spiking. I told him I'd never had ANY problem until they came out, nor had any of my neighbors, that I knew of. He asked me if I wanted them to re-install my original valve, and I told him that yes, if they still had it, I'd prefer that. But that wasn't possible, so he showed me the new and improved valve, and installed it. That was 48 hours ago and I have not yet noticed any noise when using the water. I appreciate the responsiveness and the willingness to try to fix the problem, but I am very concerned and confused that I was told two different things were causing the problem. And it seems a bit counter-intuitive that, though my water pressure tests at 40 psi, they felt it required a valve that was rated for 125 - 200 psi. But if it works, I will let it go. No, I would not use this service again. The plumbers were friendly and reasonably timely, but I cannot understand why it took four trips to fix what seems like a very simple problem.

Very prompt quote and quick installation. Price was competitive with several other vendors and lower than several also. I appreciated the detailed description of the actual process. It was technical and let me know exactly what we were getting. I also found the warranty provided with this work is excellent and extended beyond the manufacturers provided warranty. I highly recommend the Surfin' Plumbers.

Darryl showed up on time and had to spend the day dodging the moving company. He did so without complaint and managed to get everything on our to do list done and done correctly. He is nice guy and is one of those guys that you just know is not going to rip you off. At the end of the day he strongly encouraged us to get the septic tank cleaned out (even though that was not a service Surfin' Plumbers supplied). Since we were new to the area he offered to do some research back at the office and give us a recommendation. Now, I know when people say they are going to do something like that they generally have every intention of doing it but get busy and distracted and forget, so I was not expecting to really get that recommendation. As I was writing this review, sure enough he called with a septic recommendation. Excellent service.

After purchasing the big deal on Angie's List, I got an email from the provider after about 2 days. I waited to be contacted and after about 10 days I finally called the provider to set up an appointment. The provider arrived on the agreed upon day, although a bit later than I originally expected (I was notified about the delay). It's a bit different how this provider handles a big deal purchase. The provider gave me an estimate of the services I required and then applied my big deal purchase. I had to pay the difference which was a bit higher than I expected. Tom performed the service at my home. He was very personable and professional. Also very efficient and removed the old faucets so I didn't have to dispose of them myself. I would recommend this provider and would use them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out well. I spent another $300 over the Big Deal price for additional work done. This is the first time I used this company. There was nothing that was bad and they did follow through for the difficult shower handle parts to find. I had other plumbing companies out that gave up or tried to just rig it some way. This company special-ordered the parts and got them working correctly. That was a good thing and everything is working great.

The technician quickly and efficiently fixed the dripping. He looked at all aspects of the kitchen plumbing. I joined their club so that they can come back at a future date to replace the faucet and do an analysis of the complete plumbing system.
