He was very polite and knowledgeable. There were a couple of job that caused a delay in mine being finished but that was not a problem. Tim got everything replaced and did a great job. I would work with him in the future.

This was a big deal purchase. It was okay. I am still having issues with one of the things they repaired. The first thing was that he did not have the parts needed and he had to leave. He took a couple of hours coming back so he did not complete the job on the same day and had to reschedule to complete. To this day the kitchen faucet is still leaking. This will be the third time I have had to call them to fix it. I need them to fix what I paid for them to do. I am not going to pay somebody else to fix what they should have fixed. They are charging me to come back out. He was on time.

Called and technician was on site within a couple of hours came back at agreed - upon time and completed work.

Tim was very friendly and explained everything in detail and gave me several options to fix my problem with my toilets. Once we made the decision on the pest plan of action, Tim explained the installation, price and gave me a time frame as to when the job would be complete. Robby did the install of all the toilets. He was fast, clean and very friendly.

It was fair. It was not so great. It eventually got fixed but they had to delay the appointment, and after they delayed the appointment, the man came late afternoon or early evening, and he glued our pipe back together, but he did not wait for it to dry, and he was enable to fix it, so he had to come back the next Saturday to glue it together. Meanwhile it's leaking under our house. It wasn't a massive leak, but it was enough that we were pretty concerned about it. They kept on telling us about a club they wanted us to join for a discount, so they wanted us to join the club so if we had a problem, they would fix it at a discount. The office staff was quite courteous in letting us know what was going on. I was just disappointed that they were so hasty with the glueing of the pipe. Professionalism was lacking.

Answering service answered & call-back the next day was timely, was called when Tom was on his way. Initial visit was same day. Service day was the following Monday. I was kept updated when Tom was on his way. Tom was very quick, professional & pleasant. I used the Angie's list coupon. Thank you!

We received an estimate from Tom at Surfin Plumbers to do a complete overhaul of our plumbing during a remodel. We were told in the estimate walk thru that the work would take 3-4 days (aside from installing fixtures once drywall, floors, etc were complete). We decided to move forward with Surfin Plumbers and met with Tom again on Jan 21 to sign contract and put down the initial deposit. It is now 22 days into the process and we are not finished. However, that is just one of the many issues we have had. The problem really started when Tom would not show up to work after that first day or two when he collected the deposit and took all of our old copper pipes. He would only pop in for an hour or two here and there. He never committed to a consistent schedule to get the job done. He kept telling us they were under staffed and he kept getting called on other jobs. Finally, last week we thought we were making progress because he said all he was waiting for was the codes inspector to come. After hearing this for several days, I called the codes office myself to see when someone was coming. To my surprise not only had the inspection not been scheduled, but a permit had not been pulled for the work. The lady at the codes office was extremely helpful in calling Surfin Plumbers office and getting that taken care of. She called me back to let me know the inspection would be the following day (which was Tues 2/9). Tom assured us he would come at 6am Tuesday morning to have everything ready for the inspection. I did not hear from him all day and tried to call him later in the afternoon to see how the inspection went. He did not answer so I called the codes office. I was told the inspection had been cancelled. At that point I wanted to fire Surfin Plumbers. There had been a lack of communication and most of the information we were told wasn?t accurate. My husband said we would give them one more chance and he had a long talk with Tom and Teresa (who answers the phone at the office). We were assured on that day (Wed 2/10) that everything would be 100% completed and the inspection would be done by the end of the week at the very latest. On Thursday Tom let me know the inspector would be by on Friday. He again assured me he was ready for it. So on Friday when I didn?t hear anything from Tom or his office, I called the codes office to find out that the inspector came to the house on 2 different occasions on Friday and the plumbing wasn?t ready either time to be inspected. As bad as all that is, it isn?t even the worst part. We went to the house last night (2/12) to check on everything only to find one of the pipes is leaking. My husband called Tom right then and Tom said he would come today (Sat 2/13) to see what was going on. He said he would be there between 10:30am-11:30am. (My husband also told Tom that he wanted to walk thru the house and address some concerns he had). At 1:30pm Tom sent a text saying he was on a few service calls, but was still coming. (I would think our leaking pipe would be considered an emergency as well.) Considering this was the second Saturday in a row we were told he would be there to work, the fact his plumbing was already leaking, and the issues with the permits/inspections, we felt that we had lost all confidence in Tom?s and Surfin Plumbers? ability to complete this job. So my husband called him at 2:30pm to tell him we had decided to find another plumber. We feel that once they committed to taking the job, they should have honored that commitment by finishing the job instead of scheduling Tom for multiple other jobs. Now we are approx. 2.5 weeks behind schedule with everything else. (Drywall cannot go up until we pass plumbing inspection. Electrical cannot do a final inspection to turn our electricity back on until drywall is up.) The biggest stressor of all in this whole situation is that our lease is up at the end of the month. We cannot extend it because our apt has already been rented to someone else. So now we not only have the added expense of paying a new plumber, we also have the expense of finding somewhere to live until we can move into the house. In a remodel we expect things to happen. But to be this far behind for the sole reason that Tom would not show up to work is unacceptable. ***UPDATE***2-15-16 After speaking to the manager today, we agreed to let a different plumber come out to finish the job. We were assured the job would be done to our satisfaction this time. Will update as soon as we see if that is correct.
