Great- responsive, timely, professional, careful, fast

They treated everything as if they owned it. They covered everything and pointed out if there were small dents in the furniture. They did a terrific job and worked hard, they paid very close attention. They moved us into the apartment as well. The price was reasonable and they were very polite and professional. I have recommend them to friends who have also been very pleased. I will be using them again in the future.

We searched through Angie's list many times for a mover, before choosing Music City Movers. The reviews we read described such great experiences that we knew we needed to contact them about our move. So, we called them for information and a quote. The words to accurately describe that phone call are difficult to find; but I will try. The person who answered the phone made no attempt to focus on my call, as he had me on speaker phone while doing other things. Also, no attempt was made to completely explain their processes during a move or what the move would entail. When I told him to what town I was moving, he increased the transportation fee and argued with me about what county the town is in. Overall, the call was unprofessional and didn't seem as though my business was worth their time. So, we called Motivated Movers and received the attention anyone would expected.

The movers showed up on time and called before they arrived. They were careful with all that they moved and did it in a timely manner, they even moved all of my outside furniture and plants, (will not move propane tanks). They were friendly throughout the move and kept me informed of existing scratches and or problems with furniture. Because of the amount of household goods that we had they had to come back the next day, but they did offer to stay that night, but I also thought it better for them to return. The return visit was quick and we were able to finish my move. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Davis was extremely flexible and informative during the initial call. We were able to schedule a date, time and fee that fit all my criteria. Due to unforeseen circumstances the date for our closing was pushed out. I called Mr. Davis about rescheduling, lucky for me he had a cancellation and was able to accommodate the date change. The morning of the move LJ, Demarcus and Rico arrived promptly. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable about how best to load the truck. All were very friendly and even accepted my husbands and my invitation to lunch. I have moved numerous times and have never had a better experience than I did with Music City Movers. They were quick and handled my belongings as if they were their own belongings. Everything was packed, delivered, set up as I requested. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

The three men that arrived to complete the job were very courteous, quick and extremely cautious with my things. They carefully made sure pads were placed appropriately as to not scuff furniture or walls. There was a small miscommunication with scheduling, as the owner had confused my appointment with someone who had canceled. However; upon my call, and the realization of what had happened, he was able to quickly assemble a team and have them there within the hour. The group was extremely professional, and I would use them again.

Overall, they did a good job. They don't number the boxes, as professional movers do, so it was difficult to ascertain at the end whether everything had been delivered. That notwithstanding, they were careful and relatively thorough. Also, it is difficult to get hold of Mr. Davis - seems the entire operation is run off his cell phone. The message inbox is often full and one cannot leave a message.

Excellent. They were right on time, placed padding to protect floors and walls, were extremely efficient and took all precautions to avoid damage to the pieces being moved. The first-to-second floor relocation was somewhat complicated by the configuration of the stairwell, but they accomplished it very effectively, even though I had not adequately explained the situation when I contacted them to schedule the services. In addition, they were very professional and pleasant throughout the process. It took far less time than I had expected. I would definitely use them again if and when I need this type of service. Highly recommend this company.

Service was great, nice to support a local buisness. 3 young men came out (was scheduled to have 4) on a very hot day to move furniture and boxes ot of our 3rd floor appartment to our new home. Went strait to work, no nonsense. Very polite and professional. took care with our belongings, nothing broken on delivery.

It went well. They wrapped all items and kept working the whole time except for a 30 minute lunch. pone item was broken, which was a leg from a chest, but the chest was over loaded and I probably should have unloaded it before the move.

I thought they would be a good choice based 100% on Angie's List reviews. So they don't have an office. It's really just the owner of the company and his staff with the truck. So when I called them the first time, he was actually moving somebody. That was a little bit odd but I was able to call back and got his voice mail. He immediately returned my call. We were able to talk through it. They didn't give me a total amount. I gave them how large my house was and the items that I have in it. From that, they determined that to do it quickly, it would take four men. They gave me the hourly rate based on the day that I picked. Update: They did move us. They were prompt and took good care of our furniture. They packed the truck like Tetris and were able to move EVERYTHING in one load. I've updated the scores above to show I'd definitely recommend them. The only room for improvement I saw was regarding setting and confirming the appointment.

I called to inquire about move dates 2-3 weeks before move. The person answered the phone sounded like he was driving in a car on his cell phone. He said, yes, looks like they are available. I said - great, I will call back to confirm. Got a quote for 3 guys and the extra gas/mileage cost for outside of Nashville. Fine. I called back another time to get scheduled and the guy on phone sounded like he just woke up - it was after 10am. He said he will return my call. Never did. A few days, later, I tried emailing them from the website. Even wrote that I am an Angie's List member. Never returned email as well. I rate my experience as a customer from beginning to the end. From the point of contact, sales pitch to the close, after transaction. This company did not deserve a dime of my hard earned money. It was his lost - and I gave tips to the other moving company over $100 for great service from beginning to end. If this company rep that answers the call is not professional from the beginning, do not expect professionalism with this company. Caveat - I am sure that once you get a schedule with them - they do their job. (I actually spoke with another person who used them and was happy but it was a small move while my move is a larger move so not sure if they can handle large moves.) If they bash this review, just proves their professionalism. I have never written a bad review and this is the first one.

THESE GUYS WERE EXCELLENT! Professional, careful, funny, hard-working; I just cannot say enough about their efforts. It was a terrible rainy day and they took great care to protect furniture and carpets. Wasted NO time at all. If you need a good mover, YOU JUST DON'T NEED TO CALL ANYONE ELSE! I cannot say enough positive about them!

The moving process went as smoothly hoped for. The team at Music City Movers is very careful to examine both the home and furniture before loading/unloading, to point out any existing scratches or dents to the customer...thought that was a sign they pay attention to detail, which I always appreciate. The only accident was a small wooden bookshelf getting dropped on the wood floor, leaving a barely noticeable dent. If that is the worst damage when moving 2,400 SF worth of furniture and boxes, this customer is satisfied. Also liked how well the movers padded the stairways between first and second floors, "just in case".

I am going to use them when the time comes for moving. They came by and they sounded real good. The price was much better than anybody else was. They were great. They came when they said they would, did a thorough estimate, and got back to me right away. They were about $3000 less than the best estimate I got.

The three gentlemen showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked straight through until they were finished...had brought some lunch with them which they ate in about ten minutes. Everything moved, nothing broken. Friendly and courteous workers.

These guys were on time, took great care with everything they touched, and worked diligently for 6 hours with a half hour lunch break. They carefully wrap each piece they move and we've noticed no dents, dings or damages since moving. And, we will recommend Larry and his crew to our friends who need a professional mover sometime in the future.

Easiest and best move I have ever had! Make sure you are super organized and it will go smoothly like my move did! Depending on what you want to donate- they may even take it off of your hands for you!

The 3-man crew took special care with all items, inspecting each piece of furniture and making sure that I was aware of every scratch, blemish or flaw before wrapping and loading it. They were careful, but not slow. They were friendly, professional, respectful. It rained while they were loading things onto the truck and they increased their protection of my doors and floors accordingly.

I was very impressed with this company. Amount spent did not include a tip which they truly deserved.

I highly recommend Music City Movers. All the movers were very professional, polite and thorough. They took great care to wrap our furniture, pointing out any existing nicks or scratches. They were great with our kids, talking to them and making jokes. Because of showings on our house the weekend before we moved, we were not quite as "packed" as we had planned. The movers were very understanding and allowed us the room to work and get things in boxes while they moved the heavier pieces. The only casualty of the move was a small ding on a brick pillar in our new house. They offered to repair it for us.

Good experience but lost our phone number so was unable to call and let us know their GPS wasn't working. Good comraderie between workers and wasted no time in moving large furniture and boxes alike.

They were very efficient. They didn’t bump the furniture. All the furniture went into an upstairs area, and they didn’t scruff up the stairs or anything like that when they went up. They were very punctual and very quick. The price was very reasonable. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I called them about a month before the move to schedule it having used them before k owing they are busy. They called me the morning of the move to tell me they were on their way. They arrived on time. Overall the move took about seven hours as I lived in a second floor apartment, moved into a two story house and also had a garage to pack up. They were clean and wrapped up all the furniture in blankets pointing out scratches in the furniture before wrapping it.
