The move went very well. The movers were prompt and courteous. They wrapped each piece of furniture so I did not have any dings at all. The move took 6 hours.

Arrived a little late due to typical traffic in my area. Wrapped items in blankets, and followed me to the space to unload. No problems.

Pretty smoothly once they got there

The movers were great. They were prompt and worked hard, and took good care of our furniture. I would have given them an A but the movers added a $25 charge for mileage that was never mentioned to me when booking or when the appointment was confirmed. Despite that, I would definitely hire them again.

I highly recommend Music City Movers. I could give them a better rating that what's allowed here, I would. Moving can be a painful experience, but they made it go as smoothly as possible. We hired them to pack and move our 2500 square foot house. Packing was complete in about five hours. They moved us the next day, and that took about eight hours. Everyone I worked with (from Candace who answers the phone and schedules moves, to Rico and his team of packers/movers, and Larry who is the owner) were pleasant, had fantastic attitudes, and were extremely polite and professional. On the day of the move, the heat index was around 100. The guys were still pleasant despite the miserable conditions. They obviously understand how important customer service is, and their's goes above and beyond. I received a quote from another moving company, and that was twice ($4,000) what Music City Movers gave us. The moved us into a rental while our new house is being built. I will definitely use Music City Movers again when we are ready to move into the new house.

Called and set up appointment on January 11th and spoke with an individual that set up the service. Called back once we were two weeks from scheduled date of move and spoke with another representative that said that whomever I spoke with did not put my move on the books. They did not seem remorseful in the least and offered to recommend another mover. We were left scrambling to find different movers and are going to have to pay more due to short notice. We read the reviews on Angie's list and noted that communication was an issue with this group but went ahead because we assumed it was just a few bad occurrences. Hard way to learn, but the company does not seem like it is run with much organization and lacks highly on customer service once a problem arises such as not booking our move though we were told it was confirmed. I highly advise anybody looking for local movers to scroll further down the list and not use this group.

This was my 3rd move with Larry and his Music City crew. They have always been punctual, extremely careful with my antiques, polite and helpful.. I had a lot of boxes to be moved along with my furniture. Larry came and checked out the amount to be moved beforehand and ave me a very reasonable rate. I can't say enough good things about Music City Movers. If you want an efficient, careful, hard working crew, that's Music City Movers!

They moved our furniture and pre-packed boxes 50 miles to new house. Handled furniture with care. They took great care of our furniture, boxes and home. No damage! They did a great job. I would use again.

They arrived on time and were very pleasant and professional. The move took about 9 hours and they never stopped working except for lunch. They uncrated several items and laid the area rugs down before placing the furniture. I would definitely use this company again.

It was wonderful how quickly they could accomodate my request (due to a cancellation) and they were punctual and did not damage anything. I asked for the price to move the item when I scheduled the move. I did print an Angie's list coupon but did not at the time of booking the service mention the coupon. The coupon was not honored because this was supposedly not a "move". I have a different understanding of what constitutes that definition but clearly the coupon should have been more explicit in its limitations.

They were very punctual. I was completely packed when they showed up at 9:30 am in the morning. They came in to survey the amount of stuff that needed to move. Very friendly and professional and didnt say "no" to any of my requests. they used blankets to cover every furniture item and also covered the empty floor areas, doors, staircase railings, etc, with blankets to make sure it didnt scratch. I have moved about 13 times over the past 17 odd years and have never seen any mover do it with so much care and concern for their customer. My Tv got stuck to my entertainment center table. They wrapped the entire thing with blanket and tapes and moved it for me with utmost care(of course after signing a contract, since it was a liability factor). I dont think any other mover will do that. Am blown away by these folks and thank them for my move. The entire move took 7 and half hours and they didnt charge me for the 30 min lunch break they took in between. They provided me a few tips to pack smallers items in a couple of free boxes they could spare. Am terrible happy with the move and would recommend them to anybody. The same move had taken 10 hours with another mover since they had one person less and ended up way more expensive for me. Thanks Misty

They were fantastic. They were so honest and they didn't charge us for any time they took water breaks or when they ran to get some food. They deducted all of that from their time. They had great personalities and they were very professional. It was very inexpensive. Nothing was broken in the process. I have already referred them and I would definitely use them again.

They moved our piano to a new owner and moved our remaining household to storage. Could not have asked for better service and I have moved dozens of times. Great little company.
