Mr. Kuhn and his crew did an excellent job on my central heat and air. He even went out of the way to make sure I got the best deal on electrical work that needed to be done along with the installation service he was doing. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Kuhn arrived the next day after my call. Thoroughly inspected unit and added additional PVC piping to extend unit drain. He discovered an additional issue that needed repair before onset of cold weather. He then checked price of part and provided me a price for the additional repair. Pleased with his work and the twenty dollar coupon credit for being a member of Angie's List. The final charge was $110.00.

I had another company tell me that I needed a new upstairs air conditioning unit and I felt that I was really getting a hard sell and I wasn't very happy with that so I wanted a second opinion. The owner of the company (Kuhn Air Conditioning), he works alone and he had very good ratings and a lot of people said that he was honest as I look at Angie's List ratings that's why I called him. I was very happy because he told me that if I wanted to put just Freon in my upstairs unit and try to use it for another year it would probably be okay. He told me how much it would cost and if I did need to replace it he recommended a unit based on the size and the unit that's there now. He wasn't pushy at all. I appreciated that and I felt that I got honest options and I definitely would call him back. I felt that he knew what he was doing. He is in his field for over 20 years. I trusted what he had to say to me and he is very, very professional.

I called Kuhn's early on Monday morning. Mr. Kuhn personally answered my call. I explained my problem and he said he would call me back in the early afternoon. He did call me as promised and came to my house shortly after calling. He diagnosed the problem and we discussed my options. He also answered questions I had. Mr Kuhn was very courteous and polite. I thought his price was extremely reasonable for a last-minute service call. I would definately use him again.

My air conditioning unit was not cooling my house, so I contacted Kuhn Air Conditioning. Mr. Kuhn took the call himself. He was very professional and helpful and was also honest that his schedule was booked and that he would likely not be able to get to my repairs until the next day. He took my phone numbers and agreed that he would contact me if his schedule changed. Early afternoon, he contacted me and let me know some time had opened up and he could meet me at my house as soon as I could get there. He met me on time, checked out my unit, diagnosed the problem immediately and had it completed in about 45 minutes. He was great and even checked the freon in my unit! Would definitely use his services again! He clearly knew what he was doing, took care of the issue and was professional and personable while doing it.

Mr Kuhn immediately recognized that the problem was not with the thermostat, but that the contractor had incorrectly installed silicone to the intake area of the furnace. Funny, the previous contractor did it to "prevent water from entering the outside stucco" but he did it completely wrong. I am very happy with Kuhn, the rates were quiet reasonable.

I called Mr. Kuhn on a Monday morning because my Heat/AC unit was not working. He arranged to meet me at my house that day after work, was on time, and repaired my unit within the hour! He is professional, helpful, and does great work. We will definitely use him again!

I had another company who I had a service contract with come out to look at my HVAC unit which had stopped heating. Long story short, the repairs needed were expensive and my unit was at the end of its lifespan anyway, so time for a new unit. This company sent out their salesman, and for a 14 SEER package unit, the brands they were selling ran in the $8,000 ballpark. After reviewing Angie's list, I contacted Kuhn, and Ed Kuhn came out right away, and after taking a look at everything worked up a quote, which was $5,000 for a 14 SEER package unit. I signed with him on the spot and he was here the next morning installing the new unit. He was done by about noon and everything went smoothly.

They are fabulous. He is the nicest, most honest man I have met.

I knew that I needed one for quite some time but Ed advised to hold off and continue using the one I had. Then it finally was going to cost quite a bit to fix so decided to go ahead and buy a new unit. It was installed with no problems. Happy with the service and professionalism.

They did a good job. I was happy with the work as they did the work timely, prompt, and they were professional. The cost was a little high but the service was very good.

I called Kuhn's late in the evening on a Thursday to describe my issue. Ed Kuhn came out the next day to diagnose the problem. He found the problem and described two options. The part I needed wasn't even in the country and would be about 3 weeks to get. The second option was to buy a new unit. Considering my unit was 18 years old I figured it was about time. Ed informed me he would try to do what he could to install on Saturday. He told me not to run the unit and he offered the use of his electric heaters. On Saturday morning, Ed promptly called to inform me they wouldn't be able to install until Monday and offered me the use of his electric heaters again. Monday morning came along and Ed and his team were in and out in a few hours. My new unit, with new thermostat, runs great!! Ed and his team were great. Ed gave me the options that were available. He was very respectful of my time and was willing to go out of his way to be sure my family was warm.

We had several no shows with other's providing same service. Kuhn was on time and completed service quickly. I wanted a new thermostat, I told him what I wanted and he asked me to reconsider. He had the unit I was wanting, but showed me a unit that was superior, much simpler and at a much better price. We are very happy with the service.

My home's heating went out late in the day on 1/1/13. I called Kuhn AC first thing the following morning and left a message to return my call. Ed Kuhn called me back about an hour later, we agreed to meet at my house at 11:00am. He arrived promptly and figured out what the problem was in about 30-45 minutes. Turns out that there was a faulty (and very pricey) circuit board that had to be replaced. He said he'd pick up the part in the afternoon and we met again at the end of the day after I got off work so he could install the board. The job was completed about 25 minutes after he arrived. The labor costs for this repair were extremely reasonable, he charged me for 1 hour at his hourly rate minus a $20 coupon discount that he had on his website. All said & done, $45 plus the cost of the circuit board, awesome! This is the 3rd time that Kuhn AC has done work for me and I've never been disappointed. Ed's a nice guy, he & his crew have alwasy been prompt & courteous and they do quality work at a reasonable price. You won't be sorry you hired them.

Ed helped me determine what part needed to be replaced and then came back to the house to replace it.

Our HVAC was producing a fair amount of vibration so I called Mr. Kuhn to come out and take a look at it. He determined that it was the main blower unit and that it needed to be replaced. Our HVAC is over twenty years old so we know we're on borrowed time with it anyway, so I didn't want to spend several hundred dollars on replacing the blower motor. I paid him $45 which included a coupon for his time. The next day I decided to take the blower unit out and inspect the fan assembly to see if it was dirty, and there was a fair amount of buildup on the fan blades. I spent about an hour cleaning it and put it back together, and voila, it's running great now. I was a bit frustrated that this wasn't even mentioned as a potential remedy, especially when I paid $45 for basically 5 minutes worth of work. That being said, Mr. Kuhn was very punctual, polite and professional. He gave me some good ideas for replacement system setups when we do get to that. I will certainly include him in my list of potential service providers for future HVAC work.

The amount paid was for 3 visits from Mr. Kuhn. Our AC was not putting out cold air. Kuhn came and refilled refrigerant and placed a dye in the system to figure out where the leak was. Told us that if the leak was small, we could get by refilling the refrigerant every now and then and not have to replace any parts. Unfortunately, the leak was a big one, and just few days later we had to call him back. He explained that the leak was due to a faulty/corroded evaporator coil, and that it needed to be replaced. 3 of his subordinates/co-workers came out later in the week and replaced the part. Everything has been running smoothly since then.
