Fabulous. He was able to diagnose and repair the problem in less than 30 minutes. After getting the runaround with the company I had been using, it was such a relief. To top it off, he is kind, considerate, punctual, and respectful. I will be calling him for all future HVAC needs.

It was Sunday morning and 60 degrees in my house. I called him at 9 am and he came in the afternoon after church. Ed is such a pleasant guy.

I was so pleased! I was able to get service the day I called and it took him all of 3 minutes to see what was wrong and probably another 5-10 to actually fix it. He hung out about 30 minutes to make sure the unit was producing the correct amount of cold air and cleaned the unit as well. If I have any more issues I'll definitely call Kuhn!

Great. Usually use more well-known company but needed someone on short notice on a hot Saturday afternoon. Arrived in a half hour, was thoroughly professional, and best yet, fixed it and provided valuable input on what to expect in the future. Will use Kuhn from now on. No doubt.

Finally found a contractor I can trust! Mr. Kuhn was on time, considerate, and showed me every step he took. Provided great advice, too. Highly recommend this honest repairman/business owner.

Ed Kuhn conducted a thorough assessment of our old HVAC system and sat down with us and explained in detail the options for replacement [we had already decided to replace the unit instead of trying to repair it due to its age]. He provided an estimate on Saturday. We accepted it and they started the replacement Monday morning. The crew members were punctual, polite and very respectful of our home and our two dogs. They worked a long day to finish the job and then meticulously cleaned up after themselves, taking care to close all of our gates to keep our dogs in their fence. They explained our new HVAC unit to us and walked us through the changes to the thermostat, duct work, etc. Kuhn Air Conditioning was a pleasure to work with. The new AC works great.

Really great. Mr. Kuhn was very knowledgeable and professional. He identified the problem quickly and was able to fix it within the hour. Reasonably priced also. He arrived when he told me he would. Very happy with the service.

I think the price may have been a bit high, but I don't have that much comparison. I would use them again.

The system is only a bit more than 5 years old and was installed by Kuhn. It wasn't under warranty. Ed Kuhn contacted service techs, and they arrived in only about an hour! Amazing. Upon investigating the problem, the Technicians informed me the problem seemed to be that the cooling coils were full of leaves / mulch / yard debris. They proceeded to clean the coils with water (garden hose), then turn the system on and check the temp. It worked fine again. They probably could have convinced me I needed a compressor or Freon or something else, but they were quite honest and straight forward. They were very quick, efficient and professional.

I just need for Sunday's Emergency repair for my HVAC system. But, Angie and that company cannot reply and repair as Sunday emergency. Because I submit my purchase and order by last Saturday's midnight!. I called provider and Angie's company for that situations and they refunded to me!. Thanks...

I could not be more pleased. I was using another service provider and was not happy with how the service techs interacted with me. I was trying to decide whether to replace just my condenser or the entire HVAC system and felt I could not get clear information about pricing and options from the company that I had been using. Mr. Kuhn was recommended by someone I trust, and he came out the same day to assess the problem. He promptly provided an email with all of my options and the prices for each option along with warranty information for each. I elected to replace the entire system and they were able to do so within a few days. Mr. Kuhn and his team were personable but very professional. They were careful to protect my flooring and furniture during the installation. I would highly recommend this company. Mr. Kuhn himself is a pleasure to deal with. He's very straightforward about options and does not pressure you to select the most expensive options for repair/replacement. He offers the information and lets you make the decision. This was a very positive experience.

After talking with Mr. Kuhn I realized that I didn't really need this service at this time. My unit is working perfectly but I had thought of using this deal as a preventive measure. I requested a refund from Angie's list and received a credit in said amount in a timely manner. Should I need any service for my unit in the future I would not hesitate to call this company.

Ed came out on an emergency basis to diagnose and repair an HVAC system that wasn't working. He took care of the repair and even handled the warranty info. He left a few small heaters since that night was forecast to drop into the teens and he was concerned about keeping the pipes warm to prevent freezing and damage. His customer service is top notch.

I purchased a discounted home visit through an Angie's List special, so I expected there to be some delay due to an influx of work for Kuhn AC. There wasn't. He was out to my house promptly and professionally to diagnose and repair my heating system. He was also very responsive to my insurance company even though it might have cost him the repair (if they'd chosen to use one of their servicemen after the initial diagnosis and estimate). In the end, he did the repair and I'm glad he did.

I had noticed an acrid smell coming from the closet where my HVAC air handler and water heater are. When I opened the closet, I saw water dripping down the outside of the HVAC air handler onto the water heater, and there was quite a bit of water in the pan under it. Ed Kuhn came to the house the same morning I called. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got to work fixing it. He showed me what he was doing, showed me how to clean the condensate drain myself to keep it from happening again, and even emailed me the detailed instructions later on, at my request. (About that smell - Mr. Kuhn theorized that the water heater shorted out from the water dripping on it, and he was right.) My HVAC system is old, and I really appreciated Mr. Kuhn not taking advantage of that to inflate the price and/or try to sell me a new system, like other companies have in the past. I felt that Mr. Kuhn was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and a straight shooter, and I will definitely call this company again.

Mr. Kuhn is the best HVAC person ever. He is extremely professional and conscientious. Above all he has integrity. When we first began using his service it was after years of receiving less than stellar service. Mr. Kuhn came in and had to clean up a lot of mess and poor workmanship of previous HVAC contractors. Our new AC unit fixed a lot of those problems by matching the coil/condenser to the furnace. (Who knew it had to be the same manufacturer to work right). He did. Our new unit works great. I cannot say enough positive accolades about him. He is way above an "A plus". The key is that we respect and trust him - 200%.

Called Kuhn to ask for a competitive bid for a new AC unit to make sure that the vendor that i was looking at was fairly in line. I was pretty up front that if it was within a few hundred dollars that i would out of consideration go with the other vendor, but if they were cheaper than that then they would certainly get the business. The answer i got was "We don't give prices over the phone" in a pretty unprofessional tone. It seemed pretty apparent that they were not interested in doing business with me and i tried to salvage the conversation as I was open to the fact that they might have to come by and take a look, but it was for not. Bad day? Maybe. But the simple fact is that a helpful attitude and a "We can't really give you a price that we could stand by because there are too many unknowns", or "Our vendors don't allow us to give prices to call in users so we don't create a race to the bottom situation" was all I really needed to schedule an appointment.

They were punctual and great. Fixed the ducts. Would use again.

My air conditioner was blowing hot air. They came out and fixed it. They were professional and courteous. They were very knowledgeable. I would recommend their service.

First of all, let me say, Kuhn Air Conditioning has earned my families business for life. We paid for a $55 special that included diagnostics and a 30 minute service call and our tech went far above and beyond what was required of him. He repaired two condensation related leak issues, fully inspected our AC unit (and even another unit on the property that wasn't having any issues) and added refrigerant for the cost of the refrigerant only. What we were worried about being a $500+ dollar repair bill was barely half that and they were even willing to work with us on the timing of the payment as we aren't rolling in dough at the moment. We are very impressed and hope to spread the word that this company is head and shoulders above others we have worked with before. Oh, and all of this happened in less than 24 hours of me signing up on Angie's List and purchasing the $55 special. I couldn't be happier with our service! A+++++++++

Ed was great. Gave me several options and was very straight forward with pros and cons with no high-pressure pitch. After I made the choice, his installation team was excellent - had the unit installed in about 4 hours and even fixed some minor issues with the ductwork/vents. Ed replaced the internal thermometer and went over the whole system with me to make sure I get optimal efficiency. The unit has been working wonderfully for a few months now.

He diagnosed problems we were having with our heating and cooling and suggested ways to fix the issues. He seemed very knowledgeable, and we will use him to complete the job once we're ready to make the investment

I wanted someone to check over my HVAC because I had had extremely high bills for three months. Mr. Kuhn did a cursory check and pooh-poohed my concerns, saying that electric heat was always high and I should just replace the unit. It turned out that some of the pipes had frozen and had caused the furnace to overwork over the winter and it was pretty much shot. When another vendor came to look at it he pointed that out right away, and I could feel the pipes were frozen as they were right in front of the inside unit. If Mr. Kuhns had done any kind of a check at all he would have found that. It was a total waste of my money, and I didn't appreciate that he treated my concerns as nothing.

As usual Mr Kuhn was on time, affable, competent and very honest. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and the AC was working great by the time he left. I have used Mr Kuhn in the past and he is the best at what he does. A couple of years ago he saved me $8,000 by fixing a problem for $220 when a big name, local AC company told me I needed a completely new system.I thought I would check with Mr Kuhn before buying the new system and am glad I did. I tell all my friends if they have any problems with their AC/heating units to first consult Mr Kuhn. I first read about him on Angie's list and have used Angie's list ever since when I need any kind of service.

During a cold snap our first winter in a new house, the new HVAC system wasn't keeping the house warm and the electric bill came in at $430 for the previous month. Mr. Kuhn investigated and determined that the wrong thermostat (1-stage) had been installed for my system (2-stage) and that having been here less than a year the initial contractor should correct it under warranty. And that's exactly what they did. Mr. Kuhn could have billed us to address problem but by giving us the information to solve it he saved us alot of money.
