For years Kuhn Air Conditioning has been servicing the Nashville area with quality and professional care. Our heating and cooling technicians are fully trained and provide the best service in the area. Our goal is to promote quality and professionalism in the heating and cooling industry in the state of Tennessee and the demonstration of a genuine concern for the safety, comfort and health of our customers by providing quality services.

Description of Work: Replaced blower motor. The price seemed a bit high so I looked it up on the internet and saw prices for the part from 250-400. Since the invoice only reflected the total, then I have no idea how much the part was and how much labor was charged.

Description of Work: I used Mr. Kuhn's service a little over 2 years ago and he treated me so fairly. So, after coming home from a trip to our other unit dying on us, I called both Mr. Kuhn as well as the company that does the maintenance package for us. Mr. Kuhn was able to replace the unit the next day and quoted me a price that was considerably less that our maintenance contract company.

Response from Kuhn Air Conditioning
I guess this gentleman forgot these additional details: The house was 24 years old just as he said and the a/c was also this old and was not working. A/C units do not usually last more than 15-20 years. The 1st thing I found was that the thermostat was not activating the outdoor a/c unit. I replaced the thermostat (with his permission) and tried to start it again. When I went to the outdoor unit the compressor was working but not the fan. I gave the fan a spin and it started. The owner was standing beside me when I did this and I mentioned that it was working today but since the unit was 24 years old I couldn’t guarantee how long it would keep running. I suggested that this part has started today but I could not guarantee that it would run the rest of the summer. A few days later he called and said the a/c was not working again. I returned to the house and found the fan not working I gave him a price to replace this and he voiced his displeasure with me and said that he didn’t have any confidence in me and thought I had taken advantage of him with the 1st call. Because I guarantee all my work and do everything I can to serve my customer well, I refunded the full amount of his invoice ($195.00) in a timely manner; my check was dated 7-22-14; I also left the new thermostat on his wall. I haven’t heard from him until this poor review. I am sorry for this customer’s displeasure but I believe I did everything I could to please him.

Description of Work: Mr. Kuhn contacted me right away and was able to come to my house within 48 hours. A warranty part had gone bad and had to be replaced. Unfortunately, by Friday night , the same A/C stopped working! I called him the next morning and he was able to get there in a satisfactory time frame. It was a different problem. He was able to save me money by getting the part number ahead of time so he wouldn't have to travel back to the shop to get it. It was up and running in no time! He is a very nice man and very professional
