On this project, I worked exclusively with John, the owner. Prior to committing, I called a few other companies, but didn't get the same sense of experience and know-how in dealing specifically with beavers. His price was higher as a fixed fee for the job, versus others who wanted to charge only for the animals caught, but I was sold on the comprehensiveness of his approach. Within the first two days, he had two (approximately 45 and 35 lbs), then after a couple days of no activity, he changed the technique and caught another one (approx 30 lbs). He came out every day for two weeks and continued to check the traps, dams, trees, and water flow for any signs of activity. After over a week of no activity, including a good solid rain (which he insisted on) we agreed that the project was complete. He offers a two-week (+) guarantee, upon completion of the work, that there will be no more activity. It's been over a month and there had been no activity. John will be the only call I make if we ever have beavers again.
Description of Work: Trapped three large beavers that were cutting down trees and causing flodding on my property.

They were great to work with. Brian came out and pointed out the probable point of entry where the skunk was getting under the house. He set the traps and we caught one a few days later. I found another possible entry point. I called and he came and set some traps there, but we didn't catch any more critters. They were responsive when I called, and I like that they relocate the animal instead of destroying them.

The person arrived punctually. Explained the process and cost involved. Set up traps and left instruction for contacting if anything was caught. He returned promptly to remove the animal, and left equipment in place to ensure there were no others. He will return to remove the traps and block the access point. Cost was somewhat high, but the service is excellent and reliable. The Angie's List coupon also helped to reduce the cost and was immediately accepted.

I called All Paws telling them I had some kind of critter running around. They set a cage and about four days later there was the critter. I called them and over they came and the critter went (live trap). They left the original cage set and also set another one. About a week later they came back to collect the cages which were empty. I would use them again.

FIxed areas where the animals might be coming into our cral space, set up traps to catch the critters alive. They were very kind to the aminals! Well they caught three critters and a job well done! THANK YOU!

Called on a Friday evening. Returned by call on Saturday morning. Arrived 1st thing Monday morning to set the traps. Service was quick and professional. Trapped a skunk the next night. Picked up the trapped skunk the next day. The next day trapped a very large raccoon. Removed the same day. Very professional, prompt and efficient

I highly recommend All Paws and specifically Donald our technician. He is professional, prompt, always returned calls and text messages and is of the utmost character. He did a lengthy inspection, installed traps, and routinely comes by to make sure everything is in order. Look no further than All Paws and if possible request Donald for your service needs. *UPDATE* Unfortunately Donald left the company and the traps sat on my roof for months; catching nothing. One of the traps even fell off the roof during a storm. The squirrels made another hole in the same place where it was initially patched during setup and they still infest my attic. For that reason I've downgraded quality from A to F.

I called on New Year's Day and received a return call only an hour or so later. After explaining the noises we heard, a quick diagnosis was done and a service appointment was scheduled for the next day. Working with All Paws was simple, they did a great job taking care of my problem and I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Traps were set and caught 4 squirrels entering/exiting my attic through the soffit. Each time I noticed a squirrel, I called and they came out to remove the squirrel and re-set the trap. After the traps were empty and I didn't hear any movement in the attic for about a week, they patched the hole in my soffit. All work was done well and timely.

I caught two more in our trap and the professionals caught none. They did come out a couple of times and called a couple. The traps sat there for a month and a half then just disappered one day. Long story short - we spent $200 to find out to use crunchy peanut butter in our own traps and then relocate the intruder to a wooded location miles away.
Description of Work: We used the 10% coupon to have some squirells removed from our attic. We had already caught 1 in our own trap, but the other 2 remained resident. All Paws came out and installed traps. Looked like an ok installation of the traps. I noticed that they used crunch peanut butter for bait - so I rebaited our trap.

I am truly sorry for your experience and your $188.00 fee is being refunded. This type of situation rarely happens with our company, but when it is brought to my attention I do everything in my power to make it right. We had a difficult few months at the beginning of this year with my most experienced technician out for 7 weeks due to an injury (he's back and doing fine) and my second most senior technician passing away suddenly from cancer. During that time there were a small number of jobs that were not completed to our usual high standards. We have either returned to those jobs and made things right for our customer or refunded their money. I was not aware that you were unhappy with our service or I would have addressed your situation long ago. If there is anything we can do for you in the future to make up for your inconvenience please feel free to call us. Sincerely, John Pearson- Owner

Overall, All Paws provided great service. The staff arrived in a timely fashion to set traps. When called with notice of a successful capture, they were quick to stop by to remove the squirrels. John and Larry were very polite during calls.
Description of Work: All Paws Wildlife Removal set traps by our chimney, roof, and siding to capture squirrels that had clawed their way into wood soffit for a new nest. The traps successfully captured 2 squirrels, which All Paws removed from our property. Traps were easy for painters to remove to repair woodwork damaged by squirrels.

The service tech Tom called and confirmed he would arrive in approximately 30 minutes. When he hadn't arrived by 45 minutes I was concerned but then he called to say he was stopped at a traffic light and his truck was rear ended by another driver and they were waiting for the police to arrive. Tom called back in about an hour to let me know he and Don another service tech were on the way in 2 trucks. They quickly determined where the squirrels were entering the attic and set up 2 traps. Over the next week and a half 3 squirrels were caught in the trap while trying to leave the attic. Each time I called Don he came that day to remove the squirrel and reset the trap. A 4th squirrel was caught in the trap set to capture squirrels trying to enter the attic. Don removed both traps when squirrel #4 was caught since there were no more squirrels trapped for more than a week in the trap set to capture squirrels already in the attic. He then sealed the opening the squirrels had created. It was a good experience working with this company.
Description of Work: All Paws Wildlife Removal was contacted to remove squirrels from the attic. The company owner explained the process and an appointment was scheduled. The appointment was scheduled for a 2hr window that day.

I called on New Years day to find someone to address an animal in the attic. I described the sounds we heard to John and set an appointment for the next day. Brian came on time and set two traps: one in the opening in my soffit to catch exiting squirrels and one near the opening to catch returning squirrels. By the next morning there were two squirrels in the exit trap. He came to get those and reset the trap. The next day another was caught in the other trap. Brian removed that one and closed up my hole. We have not had any issues for the last 10 days.

Their initial inspection and bid was much more comprehensive than competitors and he demonstrated exceptional knowledge on how to eradicate muskrats from our lake. John Pearson was extremely thorough in evaluating our problem, walked the entire lake perimeter in waders, inspected muskrat holes, subsequent shoreline damage, and suggested at least one full week of service. He set approximately 30-35 traps, checked them daily, and removed trapped muskrats. Checking traps each day required walking the lake perimeter in waders, which was very labor intensive. They provided excellent service, demonstrated exceptional knowledge with how to handle our problem, and the results were fantastic. I can wholeheartedly recommend John Pearson and All Paws for wildlife removal. David Wooters

It went very well. Two traps were set. First two opossum was caught and the fellow came right away to pick them up. Then a very large racoon was caught. He took away one of the traps and another opossum was caught. That's when he thought it wise to withdraw the traps and watch for any activity. The date listed is when the traps were taken away and bill paid. He had made about 3 other trips prior to this but I don't have the dates written down.
Description of Work: They came on time as promised to set traps for racoons. Each time an animal was caught they came right away to remove the critter and reset traps. We caught one of the largest racoons of the year as well as 3 opossums. The young man who came each time was very nice. Because of the abundance of opossums and a cost per animal, he suggested we remove the traps for now and call him if we saw any more racoons with no initial start up fee as before. We were well satisfied.

The service was great. I will definitely use them again if I have a similar problem. I did get a 10% discound from Angie's list - and there is a $89.00 per animal removal fee. Since I was not at home when the animals were removed, I assume I will be billed for this. Thank you All Paws for a job well done.
Description of Work: I called All Paws to remove a ground hog that I had seen in my yard several times (in Columbia, TN). I spoke to the owner to set up the service and worked directly with Brian, one of the employees. He set the trap, answered my questions and checked my roof where I had heard squirrels as well. He did not find evidence that the squirrels were getting into my house. A ground hog was caught in the trap within a week and Brian came and removed the animal quickly after I called him. The trap was left in place in case there were more ground hogs and a possum was caught in the trap in a few days. At that time they removed the trap and the possum. It was easy and successful for me. The only improvement I would suggest is for the service person to leave a message that he had successfully taken the animal when they do this. I was a little concened that the animal had somehow escaped until I talked with him to confirm he had taken it.

It was a real pleasure working with you on this project! I am very pleased that you were satisfied with the results. Bat removal costs can vary greatly depending on size, age and construction of home. Also, the number of bats/guano in the structure can greatly shift the price up or down. Because of the large number of bats involved in this project, the exclusion repairs, clean-up and actual removal of the bats took over a week. We do our best to solve the problem in a timely manner but our ultimate goal is to make sure the problem does not recur. Thank you for the nice report and for allowing us to solve your animal conflict!

I had been told by another service that we probably only had one or two squirrels and then, that our roof was unsafe to access (they had trapped one squirrel). After unsuccessfully trying to get the other company to provide the service needed for three weeks, I called All Paws, and within two days, they had trapped four squirrels. In all, they removed probably eight squirrels (!) from our house. They were prompt, courteous, informative and reasonable. I am also happy to patronize a local company. I will definitely contact them in the future if needed, and refer my friends.

Peacocks make very bad neighbors. He had to trap them. He came every day to bait it. My husband went out and closed it when we saw them all in there at once. We called him and he was here within 15 minutes to pick them up and take them off. It was sad and I cried but I was glad they were gone. He took them and released them in the country. It was a mother and her three babies so they didn't make that horrible noise yet that peacocks make but they pooped a lot. We feed wild birds so they thought they had a ready food supply so they might as well live here. They were here for 2 or 3 months. He was punctual and he did what he said he would do. We would use him again if needed.

I remember this job very well. It was unusual in the sense that we had to build on-site a large 10'x10' pen out of fencing and steel posts. I'm glad you were happy with the outcome. I think the peacocks were happy also as they were trans-located to a farm that raises peacocks.

We discovered a severe odor in our downstairs bathroom which was obviously from a dead animal. We contact All Paws by email and they returned our call the next morning and a tech came right out. He saw the point of entry of the birds and retrieved the dead animals by going through the ceiling in the bathroom and into the vent. He then squirted deodorizer into the vent and installed little cages over all of our outside vents
Description of Work: Birds had entered our home into the ductwork of a bathroom vent; the technician (brian) worked very hard to remove several dead baby birds and dispose of them; he then put secure little cages over the outside vents to prevent birds from re-entering.

I was very pleased with John and the All Paws team. During the process of purchasing a foreclosed home, my home inspector found raccoon damage in the attic. I received several quotes on clean-up costs during negotiations with the Seller (a bank) to determine who would complete the repairs. All Paws was very competitive and my favorite over the phone. They even came out to do an in person estimate, when the bank required it. The team member was on-time and willing to answer questions. John, the owner, quickly turned around an estimate/contract. They were extremely fair, honest, competitive, and I was very impressed with them. The Seller ended up taking care of the repairs, but if I had been required to I would have used All Paws. If I ever have future animal or pest issues, I will immediately call and use All Paws.
Description of Work: No services were performed - see below for explanation. But, based on the estimate process, I would say they are an excellent company, highly responsive, very fair, and honest.

We chose to have them killed rather than taking them and release somewhere. They did a great job. They were very polite. They knew what they were doing. They were very professional. I contacted All-Paws around the middle of May enquiring about their mole removal program. I spoke with the owner (who was very nice) and was told about their three week mole program. I signed up for the program and began my first week around May 20. That is were it went down hill. The individual who was sent to my house was far from professional and my experience can really only be classified as bazar. Throughout the 3 week period I had the following happen: - When I insisted that I would like to be there when he would check the traps I got a lot of push back from the employee. At $59 a piece it only made sense to me. - I had a standing appointment with All Paws to check the traps on Fridays. When I called to confirm return visit the day before the employee said he would be at my home at 4:45 the next day. I left work early anticipating that he would be there at 4:45 like he said. He never showed and never called. When I contacted him to discuss I got a long list of excuses and no apology. Just more insisting that I didn't need to be at the home when he checked the traps. When I contacted the owner to express my concerns he explained that his staff was, "over booked" and that they have been busy. While I get that their mole service is probably not their largest source of revenue, I was still pretty surprised by response I got. Again, no apology. - On one of the last days that he came to check the trap I had made sure that my wife would be home. I told the employee that she would be there and that she would like to check the traps with him. When he arrived at the house he did not notify her that he was there and immediately went on to check the traps. When she noticed he was in the yard she went out and found him covering up a hole. He then proceeded to tell her that a shrew had eaten the mole that was caught and that there was nothing to show us. As you can imagine, she found that rather suspect. I contacted All Paws again inquiring about the possibility of a shrew actually eating a whole mole and while the owner said it was possible, I have yet to see anything on the web that would suggest that that happens. I still feel as though we were taken on that one. - At the end of the final week the employee never showed. I would curious to see how long it would take them to come back and get there traps, or to follow up in any manner, without my calling. (note: I did call the owner after the 4th week to ask why the employee hadn't come back to get the traps and to confirm that I was not paying for another 3 week series. He explained that the employee was probably just giving me another week). The final mole was caught on 6/10. The traps weren't picked up until the first week of August (roughly 8 weeks later) and even then the only way I knew he had come and got them was because I received my invoice a few days later. When I called to pay there were no questions about my experience. The owner just took my card number and was on his way. In the end, we caught 2 moles and 1 was "eaten". I am still pretty surprised in how poor the service and response was from this company considering the other reviews they have gotten. If ever have another issue I will absolutely be using someone else. I gave them a D and not an F only because I had one more D than F above. Really though, it's a toss up between the two.

Response from All Paws Wildlife Removal LLC
To folks reading this review, I ask you to please look below at some of the other reviews before coming to a final determination on our company. I've heard it said " You can't please all the people all the time". At All Paws Wildlife we strive to prove that saying incorrect. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction on every job, and our technicians strive to perform to those standards every day. The nuisance wildlife removal business is often emergency based, and it is difficult to gauge in advance exactly how long it will take to solve a particular problem. We do the majority of our advance job scheduling in 1-2 hour windows with a call ahead to let you know we are in route. This way when a person calls us with a potential safety hazard, such as a snake in their house or a sick skunk in the yard we can rework our schedule to get them help immediately. On this particular job the customer insisted on a standing 4:45 appointment each Friday to inspect the mole traps in his yard, and we did our best to accommodate him. On one occasion due to an emergency call we did not make the scheduled appointment on time. The technician was in a crawlspace and lost track of time, which is something that rarely happens. I apologized to the customer for the inconvenience and the technician went out to his home the following day (Saturday) to make up for it. On another occasion we made a trip out to the customer’s property to reset traps that he had bumped with his lawnmower, and we reshuffled our schedule when this customer canceled a Friday appointment. We kept traps active at his property more than twice as long as we usually do just to make sure he was satisfied, and I was amazed to read that he regarded this extension of his trapping service as neglect. As for the mole that had been partially eaten, my technician offered to show what was left of the devoured mole to the customer's wife but she understandably declined. I was surprised when her husband called me later that day skeptical that a shrew would eat a mole (please see links below). Shrews and mice have been known to eat/damage the hindquarters of dead moles, mice or other shrews in the ground. Sometimes the dead mole is an obstruction to a shrew or mouse using the mole tunnel and they will try to remove the blockage. At other times it simply becomes an addition to their diet. Although we offer to show our customers each captured mole, most of our mole trapping clients are satisfied seeing the progress we are making as the damage decreases in their yard. Ultimately we resolved this customer's mole problem by removing the 3 moles in his lawn. Thank you for your consideration of our company, and for allowing me to post this clarification. Trapped a skunk in my own cage. Emailed the company @ 530 am and got a return phone call around 645am; 45 minutes before they opened. I explained the situation and they gave me an estimate between $75 and $100. Tom was at my house and had the critter transferred by 9am. I gave him my CC info over the phone and did not have to miss any work. Everything went smooth and was no bother to me or my family. Tom even went into my back yard after I spoke to him and checked for entry points around my HVAC and crawlspace. He made some recommendations I'll follow up on. Tom was very courteous and helpful and I would recommend these folks for their professionalism, response time and punctuality.
