Our Licensed and Insured technicians do all of the work. No subs are used. Cost determined by difficulty of trap set up and charge per animal. No travel charges.
The All-Paws team was great! They were very responsive, and came to the house the same day of the call. They quickly identified the problem and set traps. There was a single service technician, Matthew, who called me each day with update on the animals that were caught. He was polite and professional. Overall, 7 squirrels were caught and he put in a temporary barrier in our roof to keep more from entering until we can get the roof fixed.

They were very punctual. I called in the afternoon and a representative met me the next morning and explained how everything from the trapping to the repairs would be handled. He set out a trap that day. After a few days we only captured one skunk and one opossum, I spoke to Brian on the phone and explained there were 3 more skunks and he had additional traps placed around my house. After they were sure they captured all of the skunks, they did an inspection of my crawlspace, scheduled the repairs and closed up all areas the animals could access the crawlspace.
Description of Work: Skunk and opossum removal. Also repair work in the crawl space was done.

The technician, Matthew, arrived in the allocated time frame, listened to what had been observed of the groundhog, and set a series of traps. The groundhog was caught within 24 hours. However, two raccoons were also caught. Due to the pricing structure of All Paws, I was obligated to pay for the removal of the raccoons since they could not be let loose. I had understood this was the company policy when entering into the contract, so the costs were not unexpected, just disappointing. However, Matthew was a delight to work with and diligently checked on the traps, one of which we allowed to remain for a week in case there was another groundhog (there was not). Although costly, the outcome was successful.

All Paws Animal Control came out to try and helped with an opening in side walls underneath that's where animals were getting in and they did remove a dead possum but that was pretty expensive because he came a couple of different times and I want to say it was almost $435. I would tell others probably to use Tennessee Trappers instead. They didn't really solve the problem and investigate enough. We had to then go to Tennessee Trappers and they discovered that there are some stones under there as well.

After hearing some scratching noises coming from the upstairs while working in my office, I discovered they were coming from the outside of our house. I went outside to investigate and saw a squirrel sitting on the curve of a gutter down spout chewing through the siding that goes underneath the bottom of the gutter. Eventually he ate his way through and I could hear him inside the walls in our master bathroom. I immediately called Animal Pros (mainly due to seeing their trucks around our neighborhood a lot) and never got a call back which was very disappointing. Dismayed I started considering trying to get the squirrel out myself by borrowing a neighbors ladder but backed out last second due to fear of falling off the ladder or getting bitten. I decided to give All Paws a call. I got a call back after leaving a message that very day. Needless to say I was relieved just to get someone to respond. The initial inspection and trap set up fee, as well as the cost per squirrel caught and the screening cost, was explained to me and an appointment was set for later in the week. I got a call later that day that they had an opening the next morning which I happily accepted. Danny came out and assessed the situation. He set up three traps and with in the first 24 hours there were two squirrels caught. He came out the next day and removed the squirrels and suggested leaving the traps up another couple weeks. 3 days later while I noticed no squirrels in the traps, there instead was a bird that had gotten trapped in one. I called Danny and left him a message about the bird and he came the next day to release what turned out to be two birds. He talked to my wife since I wasn't able to get the phone, and while he was a little gruff with her on the phone about what steps needed to be taken next, he agreed to take the traps down and cover the hole I was told that they are not handymen and don't repair siding, so I wasn't expecting the screening to look great, and it doesn't, but thankfully for us it's in the back of the house so we don't see it on a daily basis. Eventually we'll have to have a siding company come out and cover it since it's literally just a metal screen bolted to the siding underneath the gutter. But the main thing is the squirrels are gone and thankfully it was only two, and they didn't charge us for the two birds, so it could have been much more expensive. All in all I'm very satisfied with their promptness and service, and while nearly $500 out of the blue is never fun, at least we're not having to pay thousands if the squirrels nested and had babies up there. Very, very thankful tor them to be gone.
Description of Work: Set up three squirrel traps around a hole that squirrels chewed into underneath a gutter that runs along the back roof line which is over two stories up. Caught two squirrels (took and released somewhere else) and two birds (released at our house). Installed thick gauge screening to cover the existing hole.

We realized that an animal had been living in our crawlspace. We called All Paws and Danny Phillips came out the same day. He inspected under our house and set a trap. After making sure that our crawlspace was animal-free, Danny came back to remove and replace the soiled vapor barrier and all trace of the animal. Danny was efficient and professional. After the job was done, our crawlspace was cleaner than it was when we built the house. He did a fantastic job and all on our timeline. We are in the process of selling the home and needed it done before the close. He made sure that happened on our timeline and we are glad we called All Paws.

Thank you very much for your nice review! It was a pleasure solving your animal problem. As you know animals when living under a home will use the crawlspace as a latrine and over time that can become a major issue. I am glad we were able to remove all of the soiled material from under your home and make it ready for sale. Please keep us in mind if you should have any animal issues at your new residence, and thanks again for using All Paws!

I am glad you were pleased with the work we did at your home. Sometimes an animal removal project involves only one animal but in other cases there may be multiple animals. Animals, depending on species may have their litter in your attic or in your crawlspace. These instances require additional equipment, time and expertise. At All Paws we are prepared to solve almost any animal removal scenario there is, and we do our best to keep costs at a reasonable level. Thank you for using All Paws and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you in the future.

Though we never caught the suspected possum, Danny did everything possible and responded with reasonable plans. He stayed with it until it became obvious the critter escaped and was no longer around. Danny made sure any potential entry was addressed. I particularly appreciated the continuous communication and responsiveness. Danny made certain I was always informed and aware of his plan of action.. Price was well below that quoted by a competitor and considering the work and effort worth it.
Description of Work: Unknown critter making a lot of noise in attic area. Once I realized it was beyond my capabilities I called All-Paws based on Angie List reviews and Danny was here the next day. Surveyed the situation and set a plan in place. He was extremely thorough and professional and definitely knew what he was doing. Set traps and continued monitoring until pest was gone.

Description of Work: Removed a dead bird that got stuck in my dryer vent. He removed the hose and replaced it with a new one. He even had a vent cover and was able to close off the entrance outside for me so my vent opening wouldn't trap another poor bird. Dear Sir, I spoke to the 2 technicians who were dispatched to your home and they relayed some particulars of your job to me. Your initial call was for a foul odor inside of a bedroom. The technicians did an inspection of the exterior of your home and an inspection of the bedroom and determined that the smell was coming from above the bedroom ceiling. Both technicians spent considerable time sorting through the blown-in insulation in the attic before they located the dead mouse laying on your ceiling. Since the mouse was under 6-12 inches of fluffy insulation most of the odor was directed down into the bedroom below. It's a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack with only experience and an eye for mouse activity to guide you. The location of the mouse was close to the exterior wall, which due to the pitch of the roof required the technicians to lay on their stomachs to search through the insulation. Sometimes accidents happen when a technician is stretched out balancing on floor joists so we of course carry liability insurance . After the mouse was removed the area was then treated with a sanitizing spray to kill bacteria and mitigate odor. After researching your particular job I see that the price your were charged fell right in the middle of what you were quoted on the phone. Most dead animal removals take 30 minutes to 45 minutes to complete because larger animals have more odor and this makes them easier to locate. A mouse under insulation is one of the more difficult animals to find and I hope what I've written helps explain why we charged what we did to successfully complete the job at your home.

I had a rip off. We first moved him and there was something in the air duct. We called the guy, he came in and he couldn't find nothing. He had his associate down here and his associate, he saw things and he saw droppings. His boss said found nothing. We had to live through that for after a year more and finally the sound dissipated and we didn't here no more. I assume whatever it was found it's way out.

Dear Sir, I researched your job and I saw that we did an inspection at your home several years ago regarding a report of noises in the attic. We charged an inspection fee for the time our technicians were at your home. On your invoice we noted that the cost of the inspection would be applied toward the cost of trapping the animals that were causing the problem. From our records it shows that you declined to proceed with rodent trapping in the attic. Please contact us at (615) 319-0433 or allpaws@bellsouth.net if you feel this information is incorrect or if would like to proceed with trapping in the attic. Sincerely, John Pearson

We had a problem in our attic. We thought is rats. We put out lots of stuff and it didn't stop. They found out it was squirrels and they found the hole that they were coming in through the attic. The guy was on our roof and caught three of them. He took them out to the country and turned them loose. He got rid of the squirrels and he was super. He was pleasant and we would recommend him to anybody that has a problem. He came out every day and checked the traps. Since he came out we have not had a problem. I do not think they were that pricey. John was the person that came out and it was worth every penny of it. He charged per squirrels and then the traps. We were happy with the service. It was $149 for inspection and to come out. He did go the extra mile. 0

The man, who I won't name, was easy to work with and friendly. I have no complaints with him as a person. My complaint is that he created more damage to my house that I now need to get repaired by someone else and he still charged me $354 for a total of 1 squirrel and about 20 minutes of work. There was no offer to fix the damage he created. He told me over the phone that when he came to get the traps he would go ahead and cover the holes and there wouldn't be any additional charges because he wouldn't need to use any additional materials. So, he came to get the traps while I was at work and the holes were not covered like he said they would be. A few days later I got the invoice that stated he spoke to the homeowner, me, and quoted me $150 to repair the holes but I declined and said I would fix it myself. That conversation never happened. I was never quoted an extra $150 for repairs. After speaking to him again I reluctantly agreed to the $150 to fix the holes and that's when he came back over, attempted to cover the holes and ended up damaging my siding to the point that I now have to have someone else come out and fix that. He certainly had no problem collecting payment though. I didn't feel the need to call him, yet again, to see if he could at least put my house back the way he found it, with just a hole and not siding damage. At this point I'm over it and am not feeling very trusting of the company. The initial setup of the trap was $295 and $59.95 for each animal caught. Thank God I only had 1! The cost of this service wouldn't have bothered me if he actually fixed the holes made by the squirrel and hadn't created the need for more repair work.

I was very concerned when I read your review and I immediately contacted my field manager Brian, and the technician who worked on your project (Danny). Danny has had several very complimentary reviews on Angie's List and we've never had this type of complaint before. I spoke with Danny personally and he was not aware of any damage that he had done to your home. We are in business to solve our customer's problems and would never want to create a problem. That being said, we would be glad to meet you at your convenience so you can point out the area of concern so the situation can be rectified. I was also concerned about other aspects of your review, and that being so I looked into this situation with great detail. Upon examining our log books it appears that on September 24th Danny spent approximately an hour (not including travel time) on his initial visit to your home. This is the typical amount of time it takes to meet our customer, unload a ladder, power tools and other equipment from the truck, inspect the roof line, bait and attach traps at the animal entry-point, load the ladder and explain the next steps to our customer. Danny installed his traps in the proper manner with one trap set over the squirrel hole and the other trap right next to it. This way we only catch "target" animals, not random animals. I understand you mentioned that you really wanted to keep the costs down and that you showed Danny an area where you had attached some screening over a previous squirrel hole but then the squirrel had chewed a new way back into your attic. Danny returned to your home the following day (September 25th) to pick up a squirrel that he had caught. Typically we leave our traps at a job-site for about 2 weeks to make sure there aren't any additional problem animals. Danny also showed me a text from you dated November 10th that stated that you had released a squirrel from one of our traps. Besides the possibility of causing serious injury to you, this was against State and Federal wildlife regulations. Danny informed you that the released squirrel may try to find a new way back into your attic so he reset the traps. You then called him three days later and asked him to remove the traps. When Danny removed the traps, as a courtesy he placed a piece of heavy gauge screen into the squirrel entry-point to temporarily block the hole. Danny told me that he had quoted a repair cost of $150.00 to you to permanently seal the squirrel entry-point. This included a 2 year warranty but that you had declined the repair. Danny was just getting over laryngitis at the time and he may have been hard to understand and that may have been the cause of the misunderstanding. When we mailed our invoice to you we noted that our repair estimate was $150.00 and that you had declined the repair. You then contacted my field manager Brian regarding this and Danny called you to discuss the repair. You approved the repair quote over the phone. Danny then went to your house to do the repair on the squirrel entry-point but found that he was unable to proceed. Once he started on the repair he found that the framing behind the soffit/fascia area of the roof line was deteriorated. There was no solid structure to which he could anchor sheet metal. Danny spent approximately 40 minutes attempting to create a repair that was acceptable but was unable to. He determined that a roofer or siding expert would have to remove the vinyl, rebuild the framing and then reattach the vinyl. Danny called you to let you know and you thanked him for not charging anything for his time. As I mentioned earlier, Danny was not aware of any damage done to your home but we would be glad to meet you at your convenience to satisfy your concerns Sincerely, John Pearson Owner All Paws Wildlife Removal LLC

He came back to pick up the animal the next day an re- set traps. In addition he helped block access ways and checked under the house and deck. The traps were left for a period of days and than Danny picked them up help secure access temporarily until it could be fixed on a more permanent basis. Danny called a number of time to check on the house and was very helpful..

Danny arrived on the day of our call for help. He located the point of entry/exit that the raccoons were using to get into and out of our attic, then proceeded to set a trap over that hole. He captured a total of three raccoons over the next few weeks - he even came out on the 4th of July to pick up one. When he determined that they were all caught, he came back and removed the trap and blocked the hole to discourage any further critter infestation. Hopefully we will not need All Paws' service again, but if we do, we will certainly give them a call!
