I have used them for years.

I have used Air Conditioning Service for a couple of years now. I did a remodel project and had them install a Mitsubishi ductless system a year ago, and just now had them replace the main HVAC unit for my home. Both experiences were very pleasant, and everyone I have dealth with at the company have been very professional. I did not do a lot of shopping around as I was referred to them by a friend, but they have been a family-owned Nashville business for years. If they did not do right by hteir customers, they would not have remain in business for so long. I did not shop around much so I cannot vouch for their prices, but I felt that I got what I paid for. I feel that I rec ived quality products, with a company that will stand behind them. That has value to me. Overall, I would strongly recommend Air Conditioning Service.

Our old unit failed on a cold February Friday. I called Air Conditioning Service and they came out same day. Quoted a reasonable price to replace my unit on Saturday. We went without heat less than 24 hours. Salesman was friendly and helpful. Ductwork could have been improved on but was not. only issue.

The workers that came out were good, and they did a good job for a reasonable price. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

The guys were great to talk to. Really got the sense that they were just trying to fix what was wrong and not trying to sell me something or replace something that wasn't needed. They just about took my whole thing apart, so they could have found a hundred things wrong with it. They even said one part was a little rusted and shouldn't be, but it was working so no reason to replace it. They showed me a couple ways to take better care of the machine. I was also impressed that it was this technician's day to have the boss ride along. When I called back the next day, no hesitation in not charging another diagnostic fee. They came out a couple hours after being called. Also, they charged the price as if it was found the day before. He said the part was borderline replaceable, and "they get on to us for replacing stuff that doesn't need replacing."

They were great -- responsive, explained everthing in detail, on time and the best price. I had several quotes done so I felt really good about the price and I knew I was getting a quality contractor (had looked them up on Angie's list and asked friends in area). The company let me know there was a manufacturers rebate available and provided me the needed paperwork within a week of completion. Also, once I decided to go with them to replace my unit, they were able to schedule me within a few days, which was great with the 90 degree weather out. I'd definitely use them again.

This company is a LIFESAVER. Memorial day week, during the extreme heat, my A/C decided to take a "vacation", and I had a house full of company. I called around 2 p.m., and even though they were booked, a service person came out that afternoon, and serviced the unit, which had leaked Freon. The next day another person came with more sophisticated equipment to find the leak, which was in the evaporator coil. They suggested I call the installer of the original unit, since it was still under warranty, and would save me a considerable amount of money. After waiting for 3 weeks for the original installer to come and service the unit (which was under warranty), it became apparent he was never going to return my calls. After doing extensive internet research and talking with the owner of this company, it became apparent the defective evaporator coils would be a recurring problem with the existing unit, so I decided to purchase a new reputable brand of A/C. They sent someone out the next day, and also moved the thermostat inside the house to another wall, as the original one was in a direct path of sunlight. This required going under the house and fishing the wire to the new location. The unit was installed in several hours, and everything explained to me. The owner even applied the money I had spend for the 2 previous calls to the price of the new unit ! I can't say enough about how good this company is, and so willing to help you, even if you just need information,

Very good. Thought estimate was high until I got a bid from another company. Air Conditioning Service's bid was substantially lower. Originally, they thought it would take three days to complete. But with demand in the area, they brought in extra crew and completed it in one day. Had team rip old duct work out, a second delivery the new materials, and a third doing the installation. Air flow in house is much improved.

Installers arrived on time and finished the entire job in just over 3 hours. They were very professional and did a neat job with the installation and cleanup.

I called several companies to get an estimate for the repair and all but this company couldn't come for several days. Since it needed to be repaired that day, I hired them to do the repair. They were fast and thorough and the repair is still holding really well. I may could have found someone to do the repair cheaper, but not as fast.

I have been really, really impressed with them and dealt with a very nice person when I first called them. The technicians have been very friendly and professional too.

It was a very positive experience. The salesman was punctual and forthcoming. The workmen changed their schedule around to meet our schedule and were extremely accommodating.

I just bought an old house and it became clear after moving in that the previous owner who rehabbed it didn't cover the vents while he was working. When I stuck my own vacuum down the vents, pieces of concrete and drywall started to come up, and my vacuum couldn't handle it. I called this company and they were very responsive and professional from the beginning estimate to the end of the work. The only thing I have doubts about is whether or not I really needed all the services they sold me, and if the price was fair. I didn't get a second estimate at the time, and later I saw an advertisement for a vent cleaning service for about $60, which was nearer the price a friend told me to expect. After paying over $300 for the service, I wonder if I was sold a super-duper package that I didn't really need-- and I regret not doing my homework!

We purchased a new 4-ton heat and air unit. We interviewed 3 different companies before deciding on A/C Service. The A/C Service salesperson (Gary Morris) was very thorough in checking our current duct work and insulation prior to recommending the Trane unit which we purchased. One of the other companies had recommended a 5 ton (which would have been too large for our square footage) and the other recommended that we have our duct work replaced. Gary was very honest in his assessment of our needs. The installation crew showed up on time and they were incredibly polite. I would highly recommend this company.

I have used this company for 30 years and will continue to as I have always had good experiences with them and trust them to work on my home. The people are all courteous, helpful and great about providing good quality work. They are reasonably priced as they are right in line with anyone else that you would hire.

My overall experience with maintenance has been bad. They broke the faucet in my restroom, said they would pay to have it replaced, then argued with me for months over the plumber's bill. Recently, they tried to get me to replace a blower motor when the last technician who came out told me there was only a chaffed wire which should have been discovered by the first technician who looked at the unit. They subsequently tried to charge me more for repairing the wire (over $500) when they had previously told me that would be the charge for replacing the motor. They finally charged me $369 for the wire repair. Within one week, the system quit working. I called an HVAC company I have dealt with for years. They told me the compressor coil had been damaged during a previous maintenance action & that the technician should have realized that when they had to add Freon. I'm now facing an $1860 repair bill. I would not recommend Air Conditioning Service Inc. under any circumstances.

Air Conditioning Service has been real honest and very dependable. They gave us ideas when we put an addition on our house. I would recommend them highly to others.

Air Conditioning Service is very professional. The man who came out to give me the estimate was excellent with no high pressure. He explained in detail every step they were going to do. He did not take a lot of my time, just got it done.
