Considering I was in Michigan and the home was in TN and we could not meet in person, everything went very smoothly. Scott was very professional, helped to select the best flooring option for us and provided pictures every step of the way. The job was performed on time and quickly and we loved our new floors when we finally moved in. I would recommend Installer Direct and would use them again if we have another flooring project.

I'd just purchased a townhome, and the previous owner's dog had left a strong smell, staining the carpet and causing some baseboards to bloat. I was moving in at the end of the following week, and Scott and his team did their best to complete as much of the work as they could the night before, staying late into the night. They also painted Kilz all over before they put any flooring down in order to get rid of the dog smell. Then they came back the week after to finish the parts they hadn't been able to get to. Overall, it was a great experience. Scott is professional, responsive, and let me know each step of the way what was going on, as did his team. They even called to let me know when they were going out to pick up more supplies, just in case I came by while they were out and wondered where they were. I felt completely comfortable with Scott and his team and would hire them again for future flooring needs.

They were great about everything. Occasionally, it would take them a few days to respond to emails, but once they began work, they communicated very well. I have absolutely zero complaints about the actual work. They were very professional throughout the entire process. They forgot to turn the gas on our kitchen stove back on and volunteered to come back out to turn it on for us, but I was able to do this very easily. I would have no reservations about having them do work for us again and would recommend them to anyone.

From initial visit with Scott for a quote, until the job was completed everything was handled in the most professional -- yet down to earth -- manner. Upon arrival on our scheduled date and time the job went off without a hitch. Demo of old floor was quick and new floor went in with no problems at all. It was obvious that Scott, Dan, and Garek were a true team in the way they worked together. The bulk of the job was completed in less than a day. The crew came back the following morning to finish trim work and clean up. We love our floor and could not recommend anyone else for your flooring needs.

We obtained a total of three estimates for this project and Scott Craig from Installer Direct was by far the most professional of all the estimators. After measuring the rooms, he provided us with a printed line item estimate giving the cost of each part of the process (carpet cost, pad cost. moving furniture, tearing out the old, and installing the new). The other estimates consisted on one number written on a scrap of paper. We had already found a carpet we liked, and Scott was able to get the exact one we wanted. He let us pick out the laminate from Lowes, and, once we gave the ok, was able to install everything the following week. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the job in the two days as promised. They were all very friendly and polite, and kept at the task until it was complete. There was a lot of large furniture to be moved and replaced, which they did with no damage. The overall cost of the project was lower than any of the other estimates. The finished job looks great, and I would recommend Installer Direct to anyone needing new flooring.

This was second time this company did work for me. Both times, the job was started when scheduled, quality work was performed and all the guys were polite and professional. Will use them again and would recommend to anyone!

It was great all around. The tile work looks amazing. This team is very good at what they do. This was my first bathroom remodel and they advised me on several details to make sure I was satisfied with the final result. They were very easy to coordinate with and showed up when they said they would. A very professional group that I would recommend to anyone.

When Scott came to do the initial consultation, he was punctual and professional. He answered all of our questions and talked through some of our concerns. We decided to purchase the hardwoods on our own since we were able to get a great deal in Dalton, GA. We also pulled up the carpet, staples and tack strips ourselves to save us time and money. We thought this would allow them to take more time and do a thorough job of installing our floors but found this was not the case. We chose a multi-width hardwood and wanted the floors to look more custom by having the pieces placed randomly. However, when Scott and his crew installed the hardwoods, they made it into a pattern and to us this pretty much ruined the look of the floors. We interpreted this as a sign of laziness, and they proved to us that they just wanted to get "in and out" and get paid. The quality of their work was poor in other areas as well. When we walked around to examine the floors, there were numerous places where staples were sticking out of the floor. You could tell that they rushed through the project. They also said they would clean up after finishing the job but when my husband got home, he found a pile of dust upstairs with a stack of leftover wood that he had to clean up. As for the stairs, it took them about two months to come back and finish those. The quality of work was poor as well. There were gaps under each step, and it took them at least two weeks to come in and put trim under each stair to hide the gaps. I don't know if this is a common practice but it doesn't look great. In the future, we plan to replace the hardwoods on the first floor, but we will not be using them for that project. I also suggest double checking any contractors that they refer you to. The guy who painted the interior of our home (ceilings, walls, doors, trim, etc.) did not do a quality job either. We still have paint splatter on our windows, floors (including the new floors upstairs), doorknobs, pretty much everywhere. They also said they would come and clean up at the end of the job and never did. If you plan to have work done in your forever home, I suggest being extremely thorough with selecting a contractor to do your floors. If you do end up going with Scott and his crew, you should be extremely thorough and descriptive about the work you want done, and even though I hate micromanaging, I would have done so with them. That is probably the only way we would have gotten what we paid for. To better understand our cost, we had 884 square feet of hardwood put in and seven new stairs.

Scott, his partner, and crew made it to our location 5 days ahead of schedule, but not before calling first to make sure we were ready for them. Every member of the crew was on time each day, clean, polite, and ready to work when they arrived. A massive job, that we were told would take 4 days, was completed in 3 days. Their service included moving necessary furniture items, and replacing them once the flooring was installed. All materials removed from our home, as well as all debris from the installation, was packed away and the house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Installer Direct will be our first call should we need flooring work in the future!

His work is thorough and he is professional. He exceeded my expectatuons and helped me coordinate other contractors. I have more projects I will call him to assist and work with.

Fantastic and easy! Scott came out with samples, did a good job of advising me and not trying to oversell anything. He responded quickly to my questions and once ordered, he kept me informed as to when it would be installed. The installation was a breeze - - they moved my furniture an Installed well and it looks beautiful!

Great!! On time and on budget. The guys showed up by 9am and were complete by 2pm. Moved furniture, removed carpet and pad, installed flooring and quarter round, cleaned up and replaced furniture. Super bunch of guys and top quality service.

Scott and his team did a fantastic job! It was easy to schedule an appointment for an initial consultation. I did not know much about hardwood floors or the various options, but Scott offered expert advice on laminate, different pre-fabricated woods, and sand-and-stain woods. He guided me through the pros and cons of each choice, took measurements, and quickly sent me quotes for the two kids of pre-fab woods we were deciding between. It took me a long time to arrange for a quote from one of his competitors and he unobtrusively kept in touch via text every few weeks so that we knew we were still on his radar. The other quote was similar in price but the salesman was much less familiar with his product and less helpful in educating me about my choices. Once we decided, Scott was able to schedule the job for exactly my requested time a couple of weeks from then. He and his team were punctual, efficient, and very pleasant. While this is a messy, dusty job, they cleaned up after themselves quite well and completed the floors in the predicted time. The floors themselves are beautiful and I will definitely hire Installer Direct again when I refloor other parts of the house.

Scott and his team was a pleasure to work with. They were punctual, friendly, professional, respectful and cleaned up after each day's work. We didn't pick the easiest tile for them to work with (herringbone pattern), but they managed to install it perfectly and we could not be more pleased with the results. It can be hard finding a contractor to do a tiny job like ours, but this was never an issue for Scott & his team. We highly recommend their services!

Scott and his team were fantastic! They went above and beyond. They even fixed a broken door, hooked up my new sink and disposal and changed the electric outlets. I highly recommend them. Their prices were great and my floors and tile are gorgeous.

Scott did good job installing it. He is a good communicator. He even picked up the material for me. He cleaned up the site good after the work. We will recommend him for his work.

Scott and his crew were fantastic from start to finish. The work involved re-flooring of around 600 square feet of our downstairs living space, including a kitchen and bathroom. This involved moving furniture and appliances, tearing up and hauling away old carpet and laminate, and laminate/baseboard/tile installation. We scheduled a home visit for the initial quote within 24 hours of reaching out to Scott. When including every aspect of the quote (moving furniture, old flooring tear up and haul away, and flooring installation), the quoted price was under budget and lower than any of the big box store quotes we received. Before actually scheduling the installation, Scott was very helpful and responsive in helping us to select the most appropriate flooring and materials, and his recommendations were very helpful without ever becoming pushy towards getting a flooring style directly through him. Once we had all of the materials ordered (ended up getting a good price at a chain store independently), Scott had us scheduled for the installation within a week. His crew was on time on the day of installation, and wasted no time in their work throughout the course of the day. During installation, Scott was great about asking if were interested in several other small updates that would ultimately improve the final product (i.e. replacing door frame trim, replacing some old tile) without ever seeming pushy at all. He quoted me the cost and it only added around $150 in labor, so we agreed. The final product looks great! The work took a little under two full days of work, but the crew did a great job of cleaning up at the end of day 1 as best as possible. The work was done so efficiently that we were able to return over $400 worth of material that went unneeded. One final note, everyone in his crew were very friendly and respectful over the full 2 days of the job. I appreciated the process and the end product so much we will be contacting Scott again for any of our future flooring projects!

They we great. They arrived 30 mins early and we great. They didn't mind my daughter down talking their heads off cause she was so excited to get her carpet installed. The job was done quickly and installed better than expected. They wanted to vacuum it all up so it was perfect for us, but my daughter loves to vaccum so we said it would be ok cause she wanted to be the first to vaccum her new carpet. We will have these guys back out to put down the carpet in the other bedrooms. Highly recommend these guys if you want a great job at a good price

The owner Scott Craig responded to my email here on Angie's List immediately. He was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and got the job done weeks before anyone else could even schedule us. He emailed, called, and texted to keep me up to date on the process. We ordered carpet from out of state, and he even picked it up at the shipping terminal! His team was on time both days, worked full days, and finished on time as promised. Scott is not a stereotypical contractor who can't tell time or keep deadlines :) We will be replacing others floors in the near future and will be hiring Installer Direct!
