It went very well on the HVAC part, but was not satisfied with faucet in kitchen; Mr. Hiller himself brought a new one to his plumber here and it was done in less than an hour at no charge and even a refund check for a serviceman's overcharge on plumbing work done! That's RARE!

The technician called near the scheduled time to say he was on the way and arrived on time. He was good about answering any questions. He made several recommendations which I did not choose to pursue at the time but they are pretty thorough with the inspection. I received a written list detailing everything that was gone over.

When my water heater broke, they came out very quickly to deal with this emergency. They were there within 15 minutes, and came back the next morning to replace it. They are always available during an emergency. The workers are the most kind, sweet, and pleasant workers. They were perfect.

Realized pilot light was out at 9:00 PM 9/10...called Hiller they could not get to us until the following morning. Arrived on time and was able to get the pilot light to restart (hot water heater tht we had purchased from them). Problem stemmed from other work we were having done at that time.

The first time we used Hiller Plumbing Heating and Cooling Company was in April, we had a hot water heater installed. It was because of our positive experience with Hiller that we chose them again. When I scheduled the appointment for them to come out, I was given multiple choices. Brandon, the service technician arrived within the time frame I scheduled. He assessed, diagnosed, and when I wrote the check after the work was completed it was for the exact amount he quoted, NO SURPRISES! As before, Hiller provided exceptional service. We will definitely use Hiller again.

Service was timely, personable and affordable. Superb.

I was in Afghanistan when the water heater went out. Wife researched and had Hiller replace on Oct 8, 2011. Water heater did not work so Hiller returned next day and fixed the problem. Wife asked the installer if he would remove the old deteriating conduit from the wire. Wire was insulated but there was 5 inches of uninsulated wire from where it was wired to the water heater. I came home and in Febuary had some plumbing issues taken care of. The plumber noticed the water heater and the exposed wire. He asked who installed the water heater and told me that the exposed wire presented a safety issue and it was against codes. He was surprised that the installer did this work. I asked another electrician about this and he said the same thing. I called Hiller about this and was told my wife asked for the conduit to be removed and that they had noted the ticket. I understand Hillers position however they get a and quot;Dand quot; from me due to the fact that they should have known the exposed wires presented a safety issue and that the exposed wire was a codes violation. We would have paid extra for the installation of a new piece of wire.

They did a great job. They were out in our yard at midnight digging in order to fix our problem.

We bought our hot water heater from Hiller Plumbing Heating and Cooling. When our hot water heater started leaking we called them. They came out and fixed it under our warranty. They're very nice and they try to get to our home as soon as they can. The technicians are very professional and very good.

Not knowing that Hiller is apparently the McDonald's of the plumbing business, that is, they're a franchise operation, we called them to come out and service our whole-house AC. Had I known of the franchise situation, I would've called a definitely local person. Here's the problem : our AC was icing up, so we thought [perhaps it needed a shot of whatever the current day equivalent of freon is. The fan was working, that is, air was coming into the house, but it wasn't cooled. So they sent a guy, his name was Greg, out and it being a hot day and at the end of it besides, he kind of didn't do all the things they talk about in air-conditioning school. What he did do was wash out the grid on the outside with my hose. He also didn't bother to remove all the screws holding the sheet metal on, preferring instead to just bend it up away from the unit. So he said that ought to do it, and I gave him a check for $99.00. I had to be at a meeting so I didn't have time to see if what he'd done was sufficient to resolve my problem. But when I DID check it, there was effectively no change, that is, the air was still coming out hot. I called Hiller and complained, and they said they'd send a guy out the next day. About this time my carpenter came by, and I told him of my problem. He had his tools with him and took apart the OTHER side of the AC (the side that had too many screws for Greg to bother with), and pointed out to me that the cooling tubes (whatever, kind of a radiator deal) had become dirty and that the cure was to clean them. Which we did. Which solved the problem. So I called Hiller again and asked them not to deposit the check and not to bother sending out their other guy. To be sure, I stopped payment on the check at my bank. So they deposited the check anyway, and my bank returned it to them. Not getting the message the first time apparently they re-deposited it, only to get it turned away again. Well, nice try, I thought. All went along fine until this morning when I found in my mailbox a demand letter from and quot;Check Velocityand quot; a collection agency in Nashville, wanting the $99 plus a $39 collection fee. What I got from them was a bunch of grief about how my check constituted a contract and acceptance of Hiller's service, So I said and quot;Sue me.and quot; So now I have two complaints about Hiller: they're unprofessional and incompetent, and their motto and quot;Happy you'll be or the service is FREE!and quot; is a bunch of malarkey. And also, they'll turn a bunch of boiler-room pit bulls on you if you are not happy with their service. My advice: do not EVER use a Hiller Plumbing franchisee. Find a local company instead.
