Multitask Handyman & Space Solutions

Sheila was super nice on the phone and very responsive. Since they couldn't see the pergola (and I am not great at estimating sizes), they initially thought that it would take 6 hours and also they would be unable to haul it away. This was OK with me. But then she called back and said they could haul it away, which was fantastic. When Chaz got here, he was very thorough on explaining the charges (hourly, trip, haul away) and telling me what he was going to do, and maybe how long it would take. After seeing it, he said it would take no more than 3 hours. Well, he was done in 2 hours! He was also very nice to my four crazy dogs! I would 100% use their services again and would recommend them to anyone that can use their services.

Chaz and Sheila met us at the home we were purchasing to survey what needed to be done. They responded promptly and were on time at our first appointment. They were tied up for the second appointment but called before they were due to let us know. They spent a spent a large amount of time discussing options, inspecting available services/conditions and making suggestions. Sheila had many good ideas on how to make the modifications look great and blend in to the existing décor in such a way as to make it appear as if the home was built with those features. Chaz had the expertise to know what was and was not possible or practical. After extensive discussions Chaz told us that what we wanted was outside his area of expertise but he did know what we needed and how these items might be accomplished. They both had great advice and we are in the process of following their suggestions on how to find the right folks to do the work well at a fair price. All this work for no charge and we feel we have not only found honest and knowledgeable folks but friends as well. I have no doubt that if Chaz commits to doing a job it will be done well and at a fair price. I take recommendations very seriously but am not hesitant to recommend these good folks.

On 06/01/15 we called the company and left a message of what was needed done and they promptly returned our call and was able to give the quote over the phone because they had done a lot of work at our home previously. Chaz and Sheila were very professional and enthusiastic as usual. We were told what date they had available (2 days out) and Chaz showed up early as usual and phoned us to let us know he was ready to come in to do the work. Chaz was left to do the work and when we arrived home it was perfect as expected. We will continue to use this company and have never had any issues or problems with the work and if you don't like something Chaz and Sheila will make it right. YOU can trust this company and the owners just like you would your close friends.

This was my second time to use Chaz. Both experiences have been excellent. When I called him about this job he gave me the advice I needed about the job. I picked up the materials at Home Depot and Chaz was available by phone to be sure I good the right stuff. He showed up on time, did the job and the final bill was a little less than expected. I will call him for future work.

As always, the work was performed satisfactorily, no issues whatsoever. That's why I like using Multitask.

After receiving a quote for over $3000 from a reputable contractor, I decided to get a second quote. I am very glad that I did. Chaz came on site and was able to repair the door to a condition better than new. He was prompt and polite. Afterwards he cleaned up and was exceptionally pleasant to have in our home.

Chaz and Sheila are great. I worked with Sheila for scheduling and had lots of questions re: my gutters. My lot is heavily wooded so the gutters were overdue for cleaning. Chaz cleaned them out AND cleaned up the mess, he didn't throw leaves and debris all over my yard. He also recommended a good solution for gutter guards based on my lot and my roof. AND he fixed the latch on my gate as a freebie! Very professional, very nice. I was very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

He was very pleasant and had to move around a lot of boxes that were in the upstairs room. I was fairly happy except for two things. He was supposed to cut the carpet at the top of the stairs leaving enough to wrap up to the level of the new flooring. He didn't, so now I have an inch of floor at the top that looks unfinished. The outside columns had molding at the bottom that had to be taken off to replace the rotted wood. My understanding was that the molding would also be replaced. It wasn't. He was there multiple days and after the second day I trusted him enough to give him a key because I could not stay all day with him. The third day was when he finished the columns and the flooring. Maybe if I had stayed the issues I had could have been repaired.

I could not ask for more professional, responsive and kind service providers. I felt that they cared about my needs and my budget. We are working on improvements to an older home in stages and I will certainly be calling them again!

Total installation took slightly longer than I would have liked, however, the guys were very thorough. They order and install the frame first, THEN they order and install the window pieces. It makes sense so that the windows fit perfectly - I just wasn't prepared for it up front. If you're considering one of these cool rooms, plan a couple extra weeks into your timeline. Sheila and Chaz work strictly over the telephone and on paper (no email). As a 100% electronic person, that was tough, however, they are both so friendly and prompt - using the phone was a refreshing change!

Chaz and Sheila were great! After purchasing an old home with small closets, maximizing space was critical. I looked into several options, and given the space constrictions, Sheila's design and quote proved to be the most practical and cost efficient, and Chaz was a master builder at getting the shelves into some truly tight spaces. Sheila and Chaz were professional, friendly, and extremely hard-working. I would absolutely recommend them, and will likely hire them again in the future for projects in my home.

Great. I really trusted Chaz and Sheila. Everything that Chaz did in our home, was done correctly and efficiently. I knew they were top notch when I inquired about a type of work and was told by Sheila that they didn't do that because they were not good at it. Thank you for being honest and up-front. I have been burned by contractors who will agree to do something that they are not really experienced at, just so they can get the work. Sheila and Chaz know what they excel at, and they will let you know if something is not in their realm of experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Chaz's wife was responsive and promptly returned my initial call to discuss my projects and schedule a date (unlike the other two contractors I left messages for and did not receive return calls). Chaz appeared on the scheduled day, on time, and efficiently worked through the hanging projects. I appreciated his attention to detail and would hire him again for any future handyman needs. I also appreciated that Chaz treated this "small" job with care.

Everything went extremely well. The workmanship was excellent and I even worked along side Chaz to defray costs somewhat. I learned a lot from him during the process. I also really appreciated that he shopped with me, which assured that we obtained the best quality materials and supplies possible. If there is any negative at all to Multitask Handyman it would be that they are so popular and so busy that you often have to wait awhile to have anything done. This is why I gave a "B" rating for responsiveness. But I guess if you want the best value, then you should expect to wait a bit in order to get it. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would definitely use them again.

Chaz and Sheila are great to work with. Honest, helpful, on-time, and very communicative. They worked with us as we decided what we wanted to do helping with suggestions and estimated costs along the way. Chaz performed the work and the results were great. I was able to assist Chaz 1 day and learned a great deal from him. Excited for phase 2, installing eze-breeze system. We would use Multi-task again on future projects.

This was our third time to work with Chaz and Sheila, and we're already in discussion about a deck building project for next spring. Needless to say, we would/will hire Multi-task again! They go above and beyond to provide great work at a very fair price. When he was here this last time, Chaz went out of his way to help us with a plumbing issue. Working with him and Sheila is always a pleasure!

Everything went great! Got everything done quickly. Great people and great service. He will be out here Thursday again to do some more work.

Chazz was wonderful. Chazz and his wife are extremely friendly and honest and were very professional. They explained in detail what to expect and what materials were needed. They have us a quote and it was very accurate to what we ended up paying. The stairs that he replaced look fantastic and we now feel safe to use them as they were in rough shape before hand. I absolutely would recommend this company to my friends and family!

This is my 4th time to use this company for various projects. Chaz is professional, always does a great job, and you never need to worry about the quality of work that will be provided. Shela and Chaz are both such great people and a pleasure to work with.

Sheila was able to work us in to accommodate for our tight time frame and Chaz was on-time, professional and able to trouble shoot. I had attempted to mount one of the curtain rods by myself and botched the job because i was using an old drill and crappy screws. Chaz was able to repair my mistakes and even came up with a solution for the too large of window panels that I bought. Additionally, he was able to mount these very challenging shelves that are such a headache! He even did some touch up painting and the job was complete! This is a very pleasant couple to have met and we are so thankful that there are honest, hardworking folks out there and that we were able to find them- at a great price, too!!

They are everything one could hope for in dealing with home upkeep. Punctual and very honest about what will work best. We had gone too long between deck up keeps and we're afraid our deck would never look good again, but it looks great, and we know the boards are sound.
