Multitask Handyman & Space Solutions

We spent about $400 on that work. It was pretty simple and straight forward and they were pretty good at getting out there as quickly as possible. They did their work and were sure to clean up everything. They were in and out in a couple of hours. We would recommend them to others for sure.

Chas showed up on time, assessed the state of the deck (in really poor quality), outlined the work needed, showed me exactly what he would do and updated me at the end of each day, showed me what to buy at Loew's and why, worked in 105 degree days, worked steadily in installing gutter guards and cleaning gutters; rebuilt the deck that had never been sealed, only pressure washed; I went with paint to blend with the house since it will need repainting one of these years soon; I have all receipts to use for income tax deductions, and I learned a lot about how pleasant it is to work with someone so ethical and knowledgeable.

I needed my privacy fence sealed and had not realized that there were some seasonal/temperature issues regarding applying the seal/stain coat (can't do it if it's too cold!). Chaz and Sheila came out to look at the job, we discussed possible options for doing it before the weather turned, including the possiblity that it would have to wait till spring. Chaz advised me not to do it if the weather was not going to cooperate. Fortunately, we had a window of opportunity where the weather was warm enough, Chaz worked with me on the timing, and I was able to get the job done before winter! Chaz and Sheila were very responsive throughout, he did a great job, and I felt the price was fair. I would definitely use Multitask Handyman again without hesitation.

Chaz Spampinato and his wife Sheila arrived on time. He immediately went to work on replacing the closet doors and completed that work within the two hour estimate. Meanwhile, Sheila studied our closet design and came up with some good suggestions for impoving the usage of that space and we are going to have them do that work in the near future, and add a handrail to our basement steps. All the work performed was of the higest qualty. The Spampinatos are very pleasant people.

Chaz and Sheila are wonderful people - honest, friendly, sincere, and professional. Chaz is very competent and knowledgeable about a wide spectrum of home repair issues. He is extremely thorough and flexible. We had to change a few things from our original plans and he was the epitome of patience, understanding, and cooperation. He is frank and honest about what he does and will offer observations/recommendations when appropriate or requested. Chaz will be returning to complete the to-do list that we have. He does excellent work; charges an acceptable hourly rate; arrives on time; only charges for the actual time he works; and works the whole time he is here. That, in itself, should be the best recommendation anyone would need. We highly recommend Chaz and Sheila. They are good people and do a great job.

Came through for me again with flying colors. Knew right how and where to place the support jacks for the best stability without overkill, and without busting my budget. Got everything right on, dead straight, solid as a rock. He did gutter cleaning for me last time. Great, thorough job, great gutter guards. First time I ever had 'em installed the right way!!

Chaz was wonderful, as always. He was very sensitive to the fact that I only have one bathroom in the house and that the job needed, if at all possible, to be completed in one day so that I could have a functioning bathroom again. He found effective, affordable solutions to the problems encountered along the way during the job, and he even had some materials leftover from previous work that he was able to use for my job, which saved me money (and was obviously greatly appreciated). Plus, when the toilet was reinstalled at the very end, the tank was refilling very slowly - we had to run out to Home Depot one last time to fix this surprise as well with a new fill valve, and I was very very grateful that he put in such an unexpectedly long day to get my house back to working order. I will be having him back for additional jobs soon.

The experience was great. We have a large list of miscellaneous small projects that need to be done, and Chaz is the ideal person to do them. He shows up, and you put him to work. All work was done very well, and what he charged for all of the work is less than an electrician would have charged just to look at our outlet. We've scheduled him to come back next week to continue working on the list.

Chaz did a fantastic job for me on a spur of the moment arrangement. I told him I was having guests and he came over the same day I called. He took his responsibility very seriously and explained to me exactly what he would be doing. He asked for the price he quoted and was very reasonaqble for the size veranda I had. I liked his work so much, I have several more projects planned that he will be in charge of. I recommend him highly.

When I first called Multitask I really wasn't sure if repairs to my existing gutters would be sufficient, but suspected I needed new gutters. What I did know for sure was that I was waging war against a hackberry tree in the front yard and every sugar maple on the street, which had together conspired to turn my gutters into a wee little maple forest. I'm all for green roofs, but gutters make lousy planters. I knew I needed at the very least to have these gutters cleaned (again!) and install some kind of gutter protection. Not knowing enough about gutters to evaluate their condition myself, I thought that installing new gutters might not be a bad idea. I spoke with Sheila at Multitask and explained my situation. She was very helpful and worked with me to schedule an appointment that worked with my work schedule. Chaz followed up promptly and said it was unlikely that the gutters would actually need to be replaced and advised me on how to measure the existing gutters and what materials he would need to begin work right away on cleaning and installing gutter guards. I purchased the suggested materials from Home Depot. Chaz came out for his appointment as scheduled and quickly determined that new gutters really were the way to go. Although a new gutter installation was beyond the scope of the services Multitask provides, Chaz was quick to offer a recommendation of someone who could do the work. Returning the unused materials was really not a big deal, and in other situations I could see that having them in advance of the appointment would save time and allow Chaz to begin work right away. Even though they were not able to do this particular job for me, it was very clear every step of the way that Multitask cares about customer service and strives to make each client happy. They were prompt to return phone calls, arrived on time and followed up after they came out. I would recommend them.

This man is incredible, and is so much like my dad was - he can do anything. I trust him to do what he says he can do, and if he doesn't have the answer, he will try to find someone who does. If he doesn't feel he can be successful, he will tell you up front. My next project - replace bathtub stoppers and install an ADA toilet for my mom. And when the weather cools down, probably more jacks under the first floor, and relocating the master bath ceiling light fixture that is not in the center of the room. This is truly "one-stop" shopping !!!

Chas came out to estimate (2 days @ 10 hours) on Friday and I was lucky to get him back to do the work the following Tuesday and Wednesday. It took only 16.5 hours. We started with prayer. It was amazing to see how adroitly he could work for long periods at the top of a sometimes precarious-looking ladder, having taken up everything he would need on his tool belt. I learned how to use my own ladder on the corners of my house, when clean and paint the soffits and how to use the marvelous multi-max Dremel tool. I hope to be able to get him back for some of my many other projects during this busy summer. For me it was a memorable pleasure and good exersize!

Chaz had given me a price beforehand and it was right on. He did a great job with our ceiling fans and we loved the remotes that he attached to our switches which was his idea. He installed a microwave over our oven and it was really tight but he did it! We had been moving all day and had people in and out with installing and moving but Chaz did the best job of anyone we hired. I just wish he could have done it all! The price was very reasonable and we appreciated everything he did. I've used him before and will continue to when we need more work done!!

Chaz comes in with a game plan and figures it all out. If it is beyond his scope he always has a list of additional people who have expertise in the areas he doesn't cover. I have FINALLY broken the barrier between the homeowner/contractor simply by having Chaz on my side. I almost hate to keep bragging on him for fear he won't be available the next time I need him. But I know he will make time if it is an emergency. God Bless.

Chaz and Sheila gave me an estimate for how much the work would cost... (The floorboards of my back deck had begun to seriously deteriorate...) On Sunday, they met me at my local Lowe's and Chaz personally handpicked the boards to be used for my deck. It took quite a while, because he was very careful to look over each and every board. I was impressed! On Tuesday, Sheila pulled up to my home with all of the boards in her vehicle..and Chaz had the necessary equipment in his truck. He immediately began to work on the deck...and two days later, my deck was completed! He laid the floor...the steps and parts of the railing. Trust me when I say that it looks like a whole new deck...although the railing and latticework were left in place. And his final bill was less than expected because he had help with removing the old wood...(my two sons:) I can't say enough about Multitask Handyman....if you want work done by honest people who really listen to your needs, and don't charge an arm and a leg for their services, you need to contact Chaz and Sheila Spaminato! I'll be using them again...

Clever, well-designed, well-built, and affordable solutions for all kinds of quirky non-standard repairs and problems in an older house I recently moved into. He's also worked with me to help make my ideas a reality. He's not just a good do-er, he's a good thinker! While Chaz doesn't do the great big specialty jobs like heavy plumbing or electrical (he's just one guy), he's worth his weight in gold for EVERYthing else! From my experience, every contractor out there should take lessons from this guy.

Chaz was wonderful - he did an excellent job of giving me piece of mind and taking care of random items on my "honey-do" list. I will be using him again in the future to install a new bathroom floor and other renovation/repair projects.

This handyman is just SWELL- I would recommend him to everyone I know. Honest, fast and does an exceptionally great job.

Chaz is very knowledgeable - just wish I had been able to have HIM inspect my home before I bought it (and I would have passed on this one). He sees things others don't, and knows what can be fixed, and what is a major project to refer to someone else. He is a fast worker, honest, and quite the "cleaner-upper". He works by the hour, so you can just make a laundry list of things for him to do. Can't go wrong here.

I was very pleased with Chaz and the work performed. He made suggestions on what was worth doing or not doing (as far as what I originally had in mind for repair work), and also was able to take care of some impromptu repairs that came up during his visit (light replacing the faulty light switch for the ceiling fan). He worked hard and completed the jobs in the estimated timeframe, and I would definitely recommend him and use him again in the future.
