+ 0 moreChaz did wonderrful work like always and took great care to make sure we were happy with the end result. The deck size is huge with two levels of stairs and lattice everywhere. It was a lot of work. Chaz dove right in and did a fantastic job replacing old boards as needed, striping the old material off the deck, and then applying the new Behr deck restoration product. It was a tremendous amount of work and he did top notch work. I would use Chaz again for any type work I need done around the house

The fan worked wonderfully and we are set up to have him come to run wiring and install a second ceiling fan in our hearth room. I would highly recommend this business as they are FANTASTIC!!!
Description of Work: First, Sheila was kind enough to adjust the original date I was scheduled. We also discussed what we wanted and they provided us with the list of materials that we would need for the installation. Chaz ran an electric wire for the preparation of a ceiling fan (which he installed) in our media room. He was timely and took great care to keep his work area confined to his working drop cloth. He was efficient and cleaned up after he was completed.

+ -1 moreSheila was kind enough to work me into Chaz's schedule when had an unexpected free day. Chaz was very friendly and professional, and he also did great work! He arrived exactly when he said he would, the work took about as long as he had anticipated it would, and he was also able to work around some issues with my walls not being plumb. In addition to this, both Chaz and Sheila are such warm, trustworthy and honest people, which makes them a pleasure to work with! I would not hesitate to call them up again for any work I need done at home and I am so grateful to have found my 'go to' team!
Description of Work: Chaz put up 3 fans for me (with remotes), installed shelving, and put up 2 ceiling lights.

+ 1 moreWe had a toilet leak which resulted in having to remove everything including the wooden flooring. The first call I made was to Sheila, who told me don't worry everything will be ok, Chaz can fix that. We were scheduled 2 weeks out which was perfectly fine with me, I would rather wait for Chaz to be free as I have used him before and I know he will do the job right and that is the most important. The next day Sheila called me and told me to check out a flooring product that she had used in her own home. Needless to say, I checked it out, was very impressed, saved myself a lot of money and will be using more of it in my home. As soon as the dogs saw his truck pull up they went crazy and were waiting for him by the back door. Chaz as usual was punctual, cheerful, came with snacks for the dogs and was ready to tackle the job at hand. I learned so much by asking him questions and watching him at various stages, he is such a patient teacher and no question is a stupid question. The remodel proved tricky in places as the walls are certainly not straight and the plumbing was a little off but Chaz worked his magic and although we could of cut corners to make the job easier, Chaz WILL NOT cut corners, he would rather think about it, come up with a solution and do it right, even if it means extra work for him. If you want a handyman that is honest, trustworthy with a great sense of humor that will only do things the right way and will leave you with an awesome result, Chaz is your man. They will always be my first call for everything because I know I will be in safe hands.

+ -1 morePERFECTLY!! The advised us it would take two days, and that is what it took. They cleaned up after themselves and was very respectful our home.
Description of Work: We have a HUGE walk in closet that needed organization and shelves to provide us with more hanging space and functionally. Chaz and Sheila were WONDERFUL to work with!! We obtained a quote of 4300.00 from a well known closet organization company to completely organize our closet using wood (or at least materials that looked like wood). Upon providing my plans to Sheila, she immediately began to provide me with reasons why wood would not be the best choice as it would not provide us with the maximum amount of hanging space in our closet. Well when they came over to see our closet and provide photos of closet she had completed, I was sold. She had convinced me wire racks would give us the space and functionality we required. The closet looks FABULOUS!!! We have extra hanging and shelf space. I can place plastic bins on the upper shelves, as they provide us with two rows of shelving that wrap 3/4 of the way around the top of our closet (we have very high ceilings). Additionally they gave us one whole wall in which we can now place our shoes and my husbands hats. I am TICKLED PINK with all the space and functionality. Lastly they were able to place a large storage area (with doors) to house all of the linens and towels in the master closet. Previously I had the towels and linens on a book shelf that barely held them and it look horrible. They itemized their charges and walked us thru them at least twice to be sure we understood what we were paying for. Their charges were not only competitive, but very reasonable! They were professional, punctual and very personable. We have already scheduled to have them come back to hang cabinets in our laundry room and a fan in our media room. As you can tell, I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful they are!!!!!!

+ -1 moreSince I've worked with Multitask Handyman numerous times, it was only natural for me to contact them again. I called Sheila and set up an appointment with Chaz. On the actual date, as usual Chaz was on time..but what a surprise, Sheila was with him! I had four pieces of art work that I needed to hang on a major living room wall...and Sheila was there with advice on making the grid of the pictures flow. Chaz soon got to work and in less than an hour, my prints and paintings were hung with care. I have nothing but compliments for both of them..and will use them soon, to revamp my outside deck.

The bathrooms and bedroom floors look great now. The outside garage work looks great as well. The areas he worked on make a 27 year old house look new. We will definitely ask him to do work in the future. He and his wife always did what they promised in a very timely manner.

+ 3 moreChaz came out every day and did wonderful work. He figured out an impossible job and got the trim to fit around our built in microwave and solved a problem we could not figure out for months. Chaz also did excellent work installing a new kitchen sink faucet for us and made it look so easy. He also fixed many of our closet doors and bedroom doors around the house. Many of the closet doors had come off the track or would not shut correctly. Many of the bedroom door latches no longer work correctly. Chaz did a wonderful job fixing each and ever item we had on our list. He even figured out how to get an oversized dog cage tray to fit correctly into our dog's kennel. He spent most of the time working and prepping our deck for staining later this year. He did a great job replacing some broken boards and securing all boards on the deck with screws. We are just so pleased with all the work Chaz did as well as the quality of work. He is very trust worthy and does a great job of coming up with good ideas to solve problems. We are just thrilled with his work and can't wait for him to come back to finish phase II of our deck when the weather warms up a bit more. Thanks for the great work that you all do!
Description of Work: Chaz and Shelia came out to the house and provided estimates for a series of odd handy work that we needed done. As before, Chaz and Shelia where great and organizing the work and planning out how all the work can be done over several days. We needed our deck repaired and stained, a new faucet put in, lots of work done to closets and doors around the house, and a microwave trim put in for our built in microwave.

+ 4 moreI had spent 11 months planning exactly what I wanted to do in the house, I like to take my time to make sure I get it right the first time and not regret my decisions and this hopefully being our last home having had to move every few years, made the decision process that much longer. In came Sheila and Chaz to do a walk through and see what I wanted to do. I had a long list and they listened, never made me feel that I had to rush through it all, they took their time and gave me so many alternative options for consideration and talked me through the pro's and cons regarding my ideas. We booked some time on that visit for Chaz to come back and start the list, I just had to decide between now and the appointment day which option I was going for....... they would do whatever I chose. I chose their option and I am so glad I did. Chaz has just left our home after spending 3 days with us working on our list and I could not be more thrilled with the work he has done. We have gotten so used to him being here that were missing him already. Chaz and Sheila are a wonderful couple, full of great ideas, hard working, punctual and as honest as the day is long. I had to pop out a couple of times for supplies and left Chaz in charge of the labradors, both of which loved him due to the bag of carrots they knew he brought with him for treats. I have never left anyone in my home alone before, but Chaz is as trustworthy as they come. Very rarely do you meet people that leave a positive lasting impression and are so genuine, but that is Chaz and Sheila. Whatever I need doing in the future, I will be calling them first and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for a job well done and to exceptional standards and for making such a difference to our home.

It was explained to me in advance of arrival that they have a two hour minimum charge and my job would probably not take the full two hours. He recommended that if I had anything else that needed to be fixed to let him know and he would be glad to take care of it so that I got my two hours worth. I'm selling the home and it was the only repair that was required. I will be calling Chas again for future repairs.

Once I explained the issue to these guys, they went out of their way to make sure the problem was resolved as quickly as possible to avoid any further complications/damage from the faulty outlets. Work was performed at our rental property, and everything went smoothly with coordinating work with the vendor and the tenants.
