Overall it went great. Excellent plumbing skills. Very knowledgeable. Work was performed promptly. Quality was evident in all of the work that was done. We ended up with a much lower maintenance home as the result of the work that was done by Arvin's Plumbing. Good communication through the project. Hit estimated expenses.

When I scheduled this service call I explained that I needed all work to be completed by 11:30 am in order for me to leave for work. He was on time (7:30 am) and I was thrilled. He gave me his price, which I thought was high since I had already purchased all 3 Fluid Masters and the garbage disposal, and all he needed to do was install them, but I went ahead since he was there and provided an opportunity to have these tasks completed that day. During the service call he spent an incredible amount of time on his ceall phone. By 10:00 am (2.5 hours after arrival) he had installed only 1 FluidMaster and was working on the garbage disposal installation. When I asked him whether he was going to complete the installation of the disposal and the other 2 Fluid Masters by 11:30 as we talked about initially, he said he might have to come back. He did complete that day by 11:30 am all the work I had initially requested, but he didn't have time to repair a leak that persisted in one of the commodes. I am disappointed. I expected more professionalism from the ratings on Agie's list and for the price.

He ran into a lot of rock , which was not really a suprise. The line cover over two acreas to the house. We went to another plan. After the job was completed, he did not charge anymore than if everything had gone smoothly. He cares about the quality of his work and his customers. This is the second time we used his services . We would not hestiate to call him again.

The plumber was very professional. He showed me the problem and gave me the estimate before the work was performed. He then showed me the "fix". I was very pleased with this company and would highly recommend them again for quality, professionalism, and speed of service.

Both times someone can to do the work, they called and let me know exactly when they were coming and worked with my schedule around moving the dates since I had to work around the floor guys. Also, both of the employees that came were nice and respectful of my home and my new floors!! I would definitely use them again when I need a plumber.

We got three quotes and his was just over the cheapest one. He is very professional. I have an old house and he was very respectful and worked with me a lot with many options. He did not try to overprice me. I would use him over and over.

Ron called to verify my address this morning and arrived promptly when he said he would. He looked at the problem and promptly told me the cost of replacing the cartridge to the faucet. The repair was done in a much shorter time than I anticipated. When I asked him about a problem with flushing in the toilet, he took a look and explained how it could be repaired. He then gave me the prices of installing a new toilet. No pressure on buying. He told me that either one would resolve my problems. I explained that I would contact him when I had saved the money. Ron was very responive to my initial call. He was able accommodate my schedule and while he could not perform the work personally, Bill was very nice and completed the work in a timely manner. He was very conscientous and cleaned up behind himself. Ron then followed up and while he stopped by to pick up my payment, he also took the time to review the work that was done. I will definitely be calling on them in the future.

I called Ron based on Angie's list recommendation. He was immediately responsive. Our water heater had begun leaking during our absence on vacation and it needed replacement quickly. I called on a Sunday, expecting an answering machine but he picked up in person and came by the next day, thoroughly explained what's going on and what needs to be done. He sent one of his guys over early next AM to fit our busy schedule and they finished the work well within the time estimate and exactly at price estimate.-> replaced water heater with new, active or powervented one--> replaced main water shutoff valve they did a fine job, even bought a brick or two to make the exhaust vent site most esthetically appealing, used mortar and cleaned up the mess afterwards really nicely. I really like that he doesn't use the cheapest materials on the market, but good ones, because his work is of a very good quality. He may not be the cheapest on the market, but he has been amazingly reliable, fast responsive, preformed great work - if you need a plumber who you can rely on we really liked him. We contacted Ron based on the reviews on Angie's List as we wanted to have a thorough analysis of our home's plumbing, in particular a few toilets that seemed to be loose. Ron provided a detailed description of the visual plumbing inspection service that he provides and gave us estimates re: different scenarios if additional work would be needed. Ron and Bill arrived promptly on Monday morning and upon their review of the first toilet determined that a flange repair would be necessary. While Bill began working on the flange repair, Ron reviewed all of the plumbing throughout the house. Upon his review of the home, he provided us with a list of things that he noticed in his review and asked which repairs we wanted to proceed with. Ron and Bill were consummate professionals throughout and a pleasure to work with! They checked everything that they worked on meticulously before they left to make sure that it was running properly and were careful to clean up every room that they worked in. Also, the estimates for the services matched the actual costs. We look forward to using them again for any of our plumbing needs as it was evident to us that they care greatly about the job that they do!

We had an exterior faucet that was very difficult to use because it was located about two inches above ground level. It also had a small leak due to an incorrect orientation of a part of the faucet related to the anti-freeze capability. Ron Arvin removed and relocated the faucet to a position about one and a half feet above the old location. He replaced the faucet and oriented it correctly. He then checked the water pressure coming into the house and determined that our water pressure regulator valve needed replacing. He also alerted us to a possible leak somewhere between the water meter and our house. We called the Metro Water Dept. to check on that and they found a leak at their meter. They replaced the faulty part and the leak was stopped. A small problem that could have become a big problem was averted due to Ron's expertise and attention to detail.

Ron had his guy Bill come out in almost an emergency situation on the weekend.. he was very professional and polite, got in and got the job done in a respectable time!! after the repair he cleaned everything up and before leave he preformed a water pressure test before leaving and made some very responsible suggestions.. he did not try to upsale but just suggestions that i fully understood!! all and all i would recommend this company to anyone! the quote he gave me over the phone he stud by, even after having to add an extra part that we did not disuse over the phone.. plus he saved me a lot of money by getting his guy out there before noon.. the appt was at 12pm and he showed up about 11:55am !!! GREAT SERVICE ALL AROUND!!!

They were excellent. I was not here and my husband is very particular. They cleaned up after themselves. They cleaned everything. They did a great job. They even patched up the drywall and made a hatch door. They were cheaper than my previous plumbers. My husband said they were very reasonable for the 4 hours they were here.

Ron called to confirm he would be on time and he was. He gave us an estimate. His estimate was correct , no hidden charges in the final bill. He was professional and cleaned up after the job was completed. We were impressed with the end result and will call him again when we need plumbing done.

He did a great job. I called on a Saturday and he answered right away. He said he could be here in an hour and one hour later the door bell rang. He put on disposable bootys over his boots before coming inside. He was very professional and completed the job quickly. I'm pretty handy and normally do this kind of thing myself. I was frustrated at having to call someone. But if I ever need a plumber again, this is the guy I'll call. Highly recommended.

Ron impressed me from the start, before he even came out to the house. I had originally called him to ask for more information about installing a tankless water heater, but after talking with him and explaining my issue, realized that we could solve my problem more economically and effectively by chaining a 2nd conventional heater to the existing one. He came out within a day to give me a quote and was able to come out to do the work within a week. They stayed until 8pm to finish the job, and left everything looking better than it did before they started. He ran down a few electrician contacts for us since we are new to the area. Then he came back the next night after the electrician was able to come out to "flip the switch" to make sure everything was ok. They obviously care about their work and doing it right - and it shows. Thanks Ron and Billy!

Did a great job fixing the clogged drain and made repairs without having to replace all of the older pipes.

My mother discovered a very wet spot in the front yard while walking her dog on Christmas Eve. After my husband crawled under the floor, he discovered we had a leak in an old rusted copper piper in floor joists. I used Angie's List to find a local plumber and called Arvins Plumbing in Mt. Juliet. What truly impressed us was that he didn't charge us a holiday charge, nor did he charge us the $75 for the 15 feet of pex pipe, saving us over $150.00. What a wonderful Christmas present from a true professional. He kept my husband informed every step of the way, and by installing the new pex pipe, gave us peace of mind that at least that portion of the plumbing will not freeze. As new homeowners (we've only been in the house since July 2010) of an older home, we have now found a plumber we'll use each and every time in the future when the need arises. We definitely recommend Arvins without any reservations.
