When I called Mr Arvins I asked if he could come within the next day because I was having guest over. He was very accomandating to fit me in his schedule. Mr. Arvins was punctual,professional and knowledgeable. He did the job in as neat as you can, and left our house that way. He had everything he needed in his truck, which meant we didn't have to wait for any part that was needed. There was a slight problem with our Moen faucet we bought and he figured out the problem and advised me what repacement part to ask for . I called the Customer Service and it was taken care of.

Made recommendations and evaluated future renovation projects. Did not charge for the evaluation!

Amazing. it was 2 hours from the time I called them until the plumber walked out the door with the job completed. Additionally, I called the next day because I thought it was still leaking and the plumber was back right away. There was no leak and the water was residual but the response was still great. No charge for the second visit.

Ron Arvin is a consummate professional. He was very personable and courteous, punctual. He is a man of his word and delivers the product as he says he will. Arvin plumbing contacted me promptly and scheduled an appointment to see the problems that needed fixing. I was given the basic rundown of what was needed the most and some other options as to what else needed tending to in the future if I didn't want to go ahead with the work now. I was given an itemized list complete with prices of each service as to what I could choose from on necessary and advised repairs and options if I so desired. I informed Ron that I didn't want to go over $2500 and he made sure that his fee did not exceed that amount. He even knocked off nearly $200 to accommodate my figure. Arvin kept me posted every step of the way. They even rescheduled my appointment a day early to work with my schedule. In short: I was told what needed doing. I was given other options of advised work. I made my choice as to what I wanted. Work was scheduled and performed. I was called upon completion, given the bill and payment submitted. Easy. I highly recommend Arvin plumbing. They work hard not only at their job, but at being prompt and fair and courteous. The personnel are courteous with family members and conscientious about not disrupting your home life any more than they have to to get their work done.

Ron took every precaution to protect the carpet, furniture and keeping dust and debris to a minimum. Ron took pride in leaving the job site as he found it. We left the hole open for a couple of weeks as Ron suggested, to make sure we had all leaks repaired. Ron guarantees his work, but we have not had to call him back. Ron does it right the first time. We are very pleased and would recommend Ron to anyone who needs plumbing help.

Ron Arvin and one of his employees came to my home to fix the garbage disposal. He was able to find the screw that had been dropped in it and pull out three pieces! We asked him about some noisy pipes and he took the extra time and effort to fix that problem too with no extra charge!

Mr. Arvin was very punctual and courteous. He did a good job finding and fixing the problem and did it very reasonably. He also checked our water pressure.

They were very prompt when I called about a waterheatr leak. A new waterheater was installed plus a device on top of the waterheater for protection that I did not previously have. He gave me a discount for being a member of Angie's List.

The plumber did an excellent job. He went above and beyond. He was also a very nice person and professional. The company was prompt and gave accurate time estimates. I was very happy with the work and will be calling them again.

He was very punctual. However I was told that I would get a call the night before they were supposed to come to give me an exact time and they never called. I work nights so I assumed they weren't coming and went to bed as I normally do that morning. He called around 0930 and said he would be there in 20 min. I explained that no one had called to give me a time so I wasn't ready for them to come to the house due to the fact that I sleep during the day and he was very nice and offered to come a little later in the day at 1pm. Which he did. The only other thing that I thought seemed a little fishy was that when he was listing everything that needed to be done and the prices for everything he said that each aerator was 65$ and I needed 4 of them. But that he would give them all to me for free. Seems great right?! I feel like it seemed a little too good to be true which means they have to be making up for that loss somewhere which leads me to believe that some of their other prices are marked up. My Dad said that aerators normally cost 12$ a piece. I understand that labor is factored into all the prices as well but it seemed a bit much. It was really nice that they come with a huge truck with everything they could possibly need so there's no "well, this, this, and this needs to be done. I'll go get the supplies and come back later or another day or whatever."

Placed a call and spoke with Ron, the owner. He scheduled the service call around our schedules. Technician was prompt and very courteous. He cleaned the floor after removing the old tank and before setting up the new one. He completed the job in about 4 hours and the completed project was very neat and clean. While he was on site, he even looked at, and repaired, another small leak we had at our kitchen sink for no additional charge. We have already called them again for a outside leaking faucet and they were on site within 30 mins of my call. Can't ask for better response than that!

Arvins arrived on time, the existing problems where examined and James, the plumber explained what would have to be done to correct the problems. The water was turned off. The outside faucet was replaced. the hot water heater power (electric) was turned off, and the tank was drained.The pipes where disconnected and the tank was moved out of the way so that a base could be put in. The drain pan was set in place, a hole was drilled through a out side wall (brick) for the drain. Pan and drain where connected. The hot water heater was set in place, Extensions where sweated on the copper inflow and outflow pipes and the hot water heater was refilled. the house lines where bled to remove any air in the lines. Power was turned on for the hot water heater. The outside faucet and the hot water heater where checked for leaks--- none found. Time involved 4 hours. A very good job!

Jim was a pleasure to have in our home. He was slightly delayed in arriving due to another job ahead of ours. I was informed every half hour of his schedule and there was no inconvenience to us. He was exceptionally considerate of our home, wore protective coverings on his shoes to protect our carpeting, cleaned up thoroughly after his work was performed. Jim reviewed each repair needed and provided a thorough explanation of what would be involved at each step. He seemed extremely well informed of the pros and cons of various plumbing products and offered valuable advice for future possible purchases. My husband and I were extremely happy to have found a plumbing company we feel is totally trustworthy as well as pleasant to spend a day with.

My experience with Arvin's Plumbing was great. I live out in the country and had a main water leak somewhere in a few hundred yards of underground pipe. Ron took my call and took the time to listen to my situation, suggested another company who could find the leak without the need for a lot of digging and gave me a solid estimate over the phone for a piece of the work that he could help with. He called the day before he was going to arrive to let me know what the schedule was and then called before he was heading over to be more specific about the time. Once he was onsite, he confirmed the situation I described and did what he said for the amount he proposed. Then came the special part. After he finished up putting in the intermediate tap and shutoff valve the other company would use to isolate the leak, we actually found the leak itself almost by accident and he agreed to take care of it that night - at 7pm! I don't know of many people in any industry that would have offered to do that. Ron was friendly, professional and went over an above to provide the best experience I have ever had with a plumber. Ron was very friendly on the phone and willing to work with my crazy schedule to find an appointment time that was convenient for my family. He was on time, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

Repair lasted less than a week. Went through the holiday with the leak - they did come back after the 1st of the year and do a second repair. Has not been long enough to know if it will stay fixed the second time around.

We called Arvins because we were having a problem with our Flushmate pressure assisted flush toilets. We had received the recall repair kits, but the installation of the kits caused other flush issues. Ron knew exactly how to fix the problems and was able to repair the toilets. He also addressed a couple of leaky faucets. Will definitely use again. Was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Mr Arvin is incredibly conscientious. He inspected all the work done uhis associate and, finding it not quite up to his standards, he did the work over. He spent 6 hours reworking my gas line to the water heater and re-installing my heater the way it should have been installed by the builder. He did not charge by the hour but billed a flat fee. When finished, he inspected work recently done by Lowe's and fixed a problem I was having for no additional charge.

The owner, Ron Arvin, is an excellent plumber--not only is he a Master Detective of Plumbers, figuring out what's wrong in situations where it isn't exactly clear. But he's also a natural teacher--he explains things with clarity and precision and humor, and then he fixes them. Plus he tells you when he can't completely fix something (like the leaky shower head--problem of plastic joints) and explains why that is as well. Both times he has come he has gone way beyond the call of duty to explain things and to give us overall assessments of our house. Since we have just moved to Nashville from the northeast and are unfamiliar with the challenges of water in the basements and other local weather and geological peculiarities, he has given us a great introduction to the whole area. His rates are very reasonable and he gives an Angie's list discount. Plus he is always completely upfront about what everything will cost. He also gives great advice on fixtures, when you might buy something new, when you can fix something old. He is prompt and always answers his calls or calls right back if you leave a message. He schedules non-emergencies within less than a week and comes right away for emergencies I think he's the best plumber I've ever encountered in 20 years of home ownership, plus he's a great ambassador for Tennessee hospitality. We will call on him many times in the future as well. His assistant is also excellent.

the owner of arvins plumbing was very prompt to respond to my leaking water heater. he not only replaced the heater but was very kind to point out that my old heater was still under warranty and went out of his way to go and pick up a no charge replacement. he was very knowledgeable and suggested i add a thermal expansion tank to prevent a recurrence of leakage. i was extremely happy with his work and will recommend him for all plumbing needs.

I got the referal for Arvin's on Angies list and called them to inquire about replacing replacing my downstairs exterior shower valve fixture. I talked to mister Arvin directly and he helped me locate exactly the right part, He got me in touch with Burdine's supplies in Mt. Juliet TN and they were able to get a no frills replacement shower fixture at a very reasonable price.After getting the part I called Arvin's to arrange for the service call. Toby came by in the morning and assesed the situation and began the project. He was careful and accurate in his work. He did a fantastic job. They were excellant all the way around... Hi marks for these folks!
