Description of Work: They were supposed to come do a water analysis for us. They never showed nor called. Obviously it appears when a company no shows no calls they do not need the business money nor reputation.

Description of Work: Replace a water heater and brought some of it up to codes. I was very pleased with the service, however thought it was a little pricey for the labor. They did work with me and I was pleased with the company overall.

Description of Work: We had an emergency service call when our toilet cracked - they were not only quick to respond and to get the replacement installed, but also showed concern for the appearance of the installation and did extra tile work to ensure the base of the new toilet (which was a different size than the old one) looked good. Very happy with their service and they are the only plumber I have in my contact list from here on out.

Description of Work: Replaced plumbing in garage and garage apartment after the pipes froze and burst. They were very responsive considering that everyone else was having pipe issues at the same time. They used a newer expandable pvc pipe and placed the pipes in insulated areas so we shouldn't have this problem again. They minimized the amount of drywall damage that occurred.

Description of Work: I had recently retained the services of another plumbing company, and was pretty shocked at being charged $198 to replace two washers. I found Arvin's Plumbing through Angie's List, and decided to give them a try. What a wonderful find! Dealing with the owner, Ron Arvin, was wonderful. Jeremy is the person from the company who did the work at my place. Jeremy removed and replaced a bathroom vanity with sink, a toilet, and a kitchen sink. He did a perfect job. He tested a number of times, to make sure there were no leaks, which there had been at all three locations before he did the work! He also hauled off the old items, which I had not expected, and which was hugely helpful to me. Jeremy and I had an initial consultation (no charge!), and he offered me advice about the products I needed to purchase. He even offered to meet me at Lowe's if I needed help, which I thought was pretty amazing. The work Jeremy did required the entire day, and I could not prevail upon him to even take a lunch break. This company is the height of professionalism, and I knew "up-front" what the work would cost, unlike with the previous company I had used. Unquestionably, this is the only company I shall be using in the future for any plumbing issues/replacements, and I give them the highest endorsement.

+ -1 moreRon shows up immediately when there is an emergency. For scheduled work, he is very flexible with your schedule and is never late. Before commencing a job he will give you a price quote. He does not leave until you are satisfied with the results. He always leaves the job site immaculate when he leaves. We have never had to call him back to repair or adjust anything. He also follows up with a call a few days after the job to make sure everything is working to our satisfaction. I cannot recommend him highly enough, especially after experiencing the ineptitude of two other plumbing companies.
Description of Work: Moved plumbing line, installed kitchen sink, dishwasher and kitchen faucet. Ron has had to correct several plumbing problems in our place created by another company - including installing a new line to our ice maker, replacing a faulty toilet, and repairing the leaking back flow valve to the building. We also had some new construction that was just stumped out by the other company, which Ron finished, including installing the utility sink and faucet, bathroom vanity and faucet, tub and faucet and installing a toilet. The review here is for the most recent work involved with finishing out our kitchen.
