Terry is always on time, does what needs to be done and always asks if I have had a problem. I highly recommend Ray Baker.

I contacted Ray Baker Plumbing yesterday afternoon and told them that a toilet tank leak they had repaired seemed to be leaking again. After I called, I learned that the shower in the same bathroom was not working. They said they could come out the next afternoon and gave me a four-hour window between noon and 4PM but indicated they would call prior to coming to give me time to get home. At 11:58AM today they called and said the technician was on the way. By the time I got home in about 15 minutes he was there waiting for me. He came in, analyzed the problems. Fixed the toilet leak by replacing a part. Fixed the shower leak by replacing a small rubber washer in the mechanism that switches the water from the tub outlet to the shower outlet. When he finished he said there would be no charge. He indicated the toilet repair was guaranteed since they repaired it the first time--even though the problem was totally different. And then he said it only took a small washer to fix the shower and he wasn't going to charge me for that since there was no "service call" charge because the toilet repair was guaranteed. This is an unbelievable level of service. I would recommend this company enthusiastically--I've already told all my co-workers about this experience--and they found it hard to believe!!!!!

I've had them for many years. They have been real good. I have a contract with them. I have recommended them to a lot of people because they are very good.

It takes a long time to get hot water from our water heater that is located upstairs to our downstairs living area. Hence, I wanted a circulating pump installed or a tankless water heater. The Raye Baker plumber told me that tankless water heaters will just give you a limited amount of hot water because the tank is so small - and the only way to get hot water downstairs was to run a whole new water line from the water heater upstairs to our downstairs sinks and shower. After Raye Baker's visit, I called another plumber who not only fixed the problem with a circulating pump for a little over $200 -- they also discovered that our water heater was about to go out (15 years old) - it was totally corroded and the sides were bubbled from the pressure. Yikes.

Good, very excellent service. I would use them again, I have used them several times.Every time has been satisfactory.

He was courteous and finished the job in a reasonable time frame. Cost was reasonable. I will call again and recommend this company.

Great company. First time I've used them. The only surprise I had with the entire visit was the cost of service--I expected the bill to be much higher!!!!

They've done work for us over the past few years. They are a very good company, they're reasonable in price, and their honest in their dealings with you. They made a mistake and fixed it without any additional costs. I highly recommend them.

Appointment scheduling was convenient. I was given a window of time of 4 hours. The plumber arrived within this time frame. I was given a call approx. 30 min. before arrival. I will definitely use them again.

The company that had originally installed it no longer works on floor furnaces so I was scrambling to find another company to work on it. Thankfully, Angie's List provided that information -- and I discovered that Ray E Baker, which has provided great plumbing service, also works on floor furnaces. The technician came promptly and gave me the sad news that my furnace needed to be replaced. I did not seek a second opinion because Ray E Baker has always proven trustworthy in their other services. Weather forecasts for the week were predicting an ice-apocalypse so the company kindly scheduled the furnace replacement a couple of days later. The two technicians came promptly that morning and finished the job by mid-afternoon. They were friendly, cheerful, and professional. The furnace is working beautifully now, thanks to the great service by Ray E Baker

I called the afternoon before and set up the appointment for the following day. The dispatcher called to say that the tech would be there in about an hour. I left my office and met him at my house approximately an hour later. He had to go pick up another part but told me he was leaving and he returned about 15 minutes later. All told, he was there just over an hour and explained everything he did, showing me the faulty pipe. I've used Ray E Baker (and the same tech) before and would highly recommend them. Show up when they say, are quick to perform the work, and the cost has been consistently less than I expect.

On time, professional and courteous. Did exactly as I had hoped they would! It's all great!

Determined there is a hot water leak under the foundation of the house

It went quite well. I've used Ray E. Baker several times and I have found their work to be very satisfactory. Bob was my service provider and as usual, he took care of the problem. He is very knowledgeable about what he does and takes pride in representing his company in an efficient and professional manner. I have and would continue to recommend this company to family and friends. Also, quite contrary to many plumbers, they clean up after themselves.

My husband was at home when the service was completed. He was very impressed with the work and price was very reasonable for all of the work he did. We originally needed the kitchen sink fixed but he was able to fix other areas of the house also. We definitely recommend this company and we will call them again for any other work we may need in the future.

Workman were professional, friendly and efficient. Everything worked perfectly when they were done. It took about 4 hours. The price was fair-$800 less than other plumber estimate and $800 more than Sears heater+service. Knowing I could call them if I had a problem was worth the added cost.

I never received a response from Ray Baker Plumbling-Cooling until the next day which p***** me off. I was able to contact another company to repair the problem the same day. A simple phone call to advise customer we will not be able to make it would have sacrificed, instead of not calling customer back until the next day. I recently purchased a home and seal on toilet was damaged which was not caught at walk through.

Our upstairs toilet was leaking, which is a problem we had "fixed" by a different plumber less than a year ago. I called in the afternoon and was able to get an appointment the next day. The plumber was on-time and very professional. He explained why the last job we had done hadn't worked and what he would do to fix it. The job was very quick and he even did some extra things our toilet needed, like replacing a piece of rubber on the inside and replacing some rusty screws when he reset the toilet. The cost was about what we expected, but cheaper than the last plumber we used. Everything was great and I will definitely use them again for any future plumbing issues!

My bathtub faucet had come completely off. I call this company and I wanted to use a different faucet, however, I was restricted because I needed to replace it with what was already there. I picked up the faucet kit at Allrite Plumbing. The technician made was able to make the install. He had to make some adjustments but overall I was pleased with the work. I would use them again for plumbing work.

As far as the estimation went, he first made sure all our indoor and outdoor faucets were shut off so he could watch our water meter, to check and see if the meter was moving. He watched and watched, there was no movement---no waterleak. He suggested we call Bartlett water services to explain the lek - he said they probably meant it was a sewer leak from the collapse of ground around our sidewalk. I called Bartlett and sure enough I had mistaken what they had said. It was a sewer leak, we needed to have a new casket put on the connection. He informed me that to have that repaired, we would have to get a back hoe and they would have to tear up the sidewalk. He gave me a reference. We asked how much we owed and he said "nothing", that he hadn't done anything, even though he was there for 30 minutes trying to figure out the problem. So, we asked him to stop our dripping tub faucet, which he did - both the cold and the hot washers had rotted out. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, just a delight to talk to. He was thorough and honest, don't you appreciate that? We will definitely make him our permanent plumber!

They were attentive and thorough. Everything is working just fine. There is no problem at all.
