Description of Work: I needed a piece of glass cut for a tabletop.

Description of Work: I contacted Nurre Glass in July of 2012. Mr. David Chamberlin met me at my house on July 27, 2012. I had several French doors on the side of my house that needed replacing due to age/rotten wood. Mr. Chamberlin took all sorts of measurements and promised to get back to me with an estimate. I NEVER HEARD ONE WORD FROM HIM, until I called him sometime I believe in September 2012 to ask where the estimate was. He said he was sorry but that he could not locate the measurements or the order and that he would have to come by and measure again, which he did. I ONCE AGAIN NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM HIM, and then I contacted him by email on November 15, 2012 with the following full text of the email...."David - I met with you at my house in late July and ordered some new doors - I have not heard a word about them since. What is going on???". Mr Chamberlin 12 days later responded to me by email that he had that day (November 27th) gotten the prices back on the custom wood doors. Based on his estimate ($7215.00 for "two singles and the pair of doors custom sized to your openings")and by email (November 27th) in response, I told him to order the doors. He said lead time on the custom doors was 5-6 weeks. As of yesterday (January 22nd, 2013) I still had NOT HEARD ONE WORD from Mr. Chamberlin (nearly 8 weeks from my November 27th email). I called Nurre today and told them that dealing with Mr. Chamberlin was impossible and that I wanted to hear from him today. Mr. Chamberlin called me and said he was going to have to come by again, and I just told him to cancel the order and that dealing with Nurre was a disaster. I called the manager, Wayne, and told him what a fiasco this has been, and he said "there were two sides to every story". I told him that I would send him the email correspondence. NEVER deal with these people..........................started this process in July of 2012 - still no doors.

Description of Work: The inspection on a home we sold pointed out some window repairs that needed to be done.

Description of Work: Mr. David Chamberlin with Nurre Glass estimated the installation of a frameless glass shower enclosure on 8/31/2011. We had also gotten estimates from Pittman Glass, Binswanger Glass and Raleigh Glass in Memphis Tn., all gave higher estimates than Nurre. The cost estiamte was returned to us on September 1st, the product was ordered on September 8th and installed on September 20th.

Description of Work: Replaced three custom thermopane picture windows. Dan and Ron came as scheduled. They set up a scaffold, removed the old windows and did some wood repair work as required. The job took longer than expected and they covered the openings with plywood before leaving the first day. They returned the next morning and finished the installation. We are very pleased with the new windows and the professional installation. They also did a great job cleaning up the work site.

Description of Work: I received a quote for a custom cut mirror for a bathroom

Description of Work: Nurre Glass cut and installed a tempered window 9" X 3' tall to one side of our front door.
