It was good. He did good work. I bought a faucet that was too big that did not fit and they put the faucet back in the box for me that it came in. He had to go 3 different places to find the correct faucet cap and he did not charge me any extra for that. I will absolutely use him again. He was a gentleman and did everything that I asked. He communicated before he got here that he was on his way.

The initial visit was OK, he did not come prepared, although I was very clear that we needed 1 drain in bathroom sink repaired. And that the set was brushed silver. He thought I wanted the drain in the shower repaired. He took the part and told me he would check with his suppliers for the drain in brushed silver. Several days later I received a call that he had the part ad would repair the sink. He did come on the date and time we set, but did not have the proper part. He stated that he would have to go to Home Depot and needed cash for him to get the parts. I gave him cash and he left. About 20 minutes later he returned with a polished silver drain. He stated that this was the only thing available. Even though it was the wrong color I had him fix the sink drain. The deal was for a certain amount with money toward the cost of repairs. I ended up with a bill for $235.00 and the only credit I saw was for the cash I gave him to go get the part.

We ordered new kitchen counter tops without knowing that the contractors only disconnected the sink plumbing, and would not re-connect. the fixtures. In a panic I called Ken Tyler and told him of our plight. WHAM! His plumber was out that afternoon. It was a big job because our plumbing was not up to code (fly by night original installers) and plus, the new sink drains were offset and didn't line up with the existing plumbing. Ken's guys attacked the problem, completely gutted the entire system,and the next day, completed a very professional job. I highly recommend Ken Tyler Plumbing! The Angie's list discount helped, but more importantly, her recommendation of only the best is worth it.

It was fairly competitive. It was a positive experience. I did not wind up letting him do the work, because I found someone who was a little bit cheaper. The bid was $680. He showed up and gave me the bid. I am not sure that anything could have been done necessarily to improve it. I could say that it could have been cheaper; that's an improvement for me based on his cost structure. It wasn’t that it was that much higher; it was slightly high. He showed up when he said he would once we got it scheduled.

Contractor on time and all intended work seemed to be taken care of

He was late in coming but kept me informed of his delay which I very much appreciated. He seemed knowledgeable about plumbing and did not gouge me.

My husband is in the military and frequently away from home, so being able to find quality and reasonable help is extremely important to me and him. Mr. Tyler came to my home the same day I called him., to fix a leak I had discovered under the house. At first, I thought I had a hot water heater issue because all my hot water was just lukewarm and gone very fast after turning the faucet on. After investigating the W/H, I discovered a leak under the house. I called Mr. Tyler, who at first wasn't sure he could come the same day. However, he called me back and said it would take awhile, but he would come a little later if that was alright with me. Of course, needing hot water, that was great. The sooner, the better! He arrived around 6:00 p.m. Was extremely polite and professional. He explained what he was happening, and what he would do to fix it. The fix was very quick, maybe 15 minutes, Hot water was restored almost immediately. He also told me to keep the bill and show my utility company, because sometimes they will give a little credit on things of this nature. He gave me the bill, which I did not hesitate to add a nice tip to. Then he left. He came back a minute later to clarify the amount that he charged was $75.00, but I had made my check out for $100.00. I told him I was extremely grateful for the quick service and that was his tip. He was very happy and so was I! Mr. Tyler is an exceptional business man in that he was very polite, professional, went the extra mile to handle my problem the same day, and is very honest. A combination that is very rare these days! I will not hesitate to use him again and I will glowingly refer other friends and family to him. He was GREAT!

Ken was very cheerful and understanding of my need to have the hot water heater working as soon as possible. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the water heater back in operation in less than an hour. My portion of the bill was my deductible. Ken was very nice to work with and I will use his services for projects I have planned.
