Description of Work: Called to get french drains installed for flooding problem instead when the owner came out to do an estimate he told me of a $5 solution saving thousands of dollars. Who does that theses days most people would of just quoted the price of the drains and booked the sale. I'm PROUD TO REFER GERMANTOWN LANDSCAPE CO.

Description of Work: The following services were performed by Germantown Landscape Co. in a very timely, organized, economical and professional manner...even though we changed a few items as they worked. Germantown Landscape Co. performed this service/refurbishing over 3 consecutive days. They removed bushes & shrubs, transplanted other bushes & shrubs, trimmed shrubs and worked the ground to the proper setting. Then they carefully (not to deep, not to shallow) planted the new bushes, shrubs, flowers and artfully placed the stone trim, gravel bedding and a short stone pathway. Germantown Landscape uses craftsmen! They are skilled! And, we have Germantown Landscape Co. scheduled to do more landscaping in late November. They'll work with you! Germantown Landscape Co. will give you something that's hard to get these days, TREMENDOUS VALUE! Not to mention, the owner, is a licensed landscape architect, and he has a sense of humor to boot!  + -1 moreHe did a great job and we were very appreciative of him coming out. It was a consultation on what we needed to do. He ended up not giving us a bid on the job. He suggested that we actually go someplace else. I liked the fact that he was very responsive to our request. I really appreciated his honesty in sending us to somebody else and telling us what he thought should be done and that the other people would be good to do it rather than him doing it. That was very nice. He seemed very professional and very personable. I would recommend others to get a quote from him.
Description of Work: Germantown Landscape came out and gave us a consultation for our lawn. The work involved taking care of a very steep slope that is in the city easement on the side of our house; it was an erosion problem.

Description of Work: I have asked John for estimates on various landscape issues. He is always punctual, fast to respond, and a true professional. What I like about dealing with John is his frankness and honesty on what I need to resolve my issue. Both times he has come by and after review has offered simple, low cost fixes that I can accomplish myself. He has never tried to sell me a service that I didn't need simply to make a buck.  + -1 moreThey do excellent work, it was a two day project. It is by no means just mowing grass type project. The cost includes all of the plants but I know a big chunk of it is the labor involved since it takes more than one gardener to get my yard ready for summer.
Description of Work: I have all of my plants planted for me each spring in a 1/2 acre yard. They also do all the planting around my swimming pool and all of the shrubbery and grass work. They also do all of the spring bed maintenance, such as the planting, mulching and trimming.
