Ellendale Heating and AC / Dennis gave an estimate, as requested, for all options for our repair (as the R22 options are coming to an end soon.) He was always available and quickly answered any concerns. Provided some stats on coils. - nice. Wife and I weighed the differences with 2-3 other estimates. We liked Dennis' responsiveness and price was legit - Warranty excellent! Arranged repair date with Heather - easy! (no attitude, etc..) Technicians came and were professional, answered questions I had, confirmed Dennis' assessment. I am in computer/ contact center field service. I've installed computers/cabinets and associated cabling for years. I know what a good, neat job looks like. My first inclination: This is a company I will use again. Techs did good work. Clean/ Neat / Correct install. So far, all good. When I go to an R410A AC unit, I will be looking for Ellendale. Thanks again!

It went well but arrival was a bit after the 8-11 timeframe.

I fixed the issue myself, alerted the service provider no longer needed the deal.

They were great, very professional and friendly. They did the job well. They found a crack, but we did not end up using their company to replace it because we got two to three different bids. I was actually very impressed with them and would use them again. I was really impressed with the guy on how professional, friendly and clean he was. He was really careful to be neat. I would definitely recommend them.

They did a great job. They were honest, they did what they said they would do, and they didn’t try to scam us or anything. We found them to be good people and they have reliable services.

They showed up when they said they would (minus one employee) so they went a longer in the installation than originally planned, but they did stick with the job and finished that day(late). The system works fine and my tenants were pleased with the courteous and conscientious conduct of the installers. I will definitely consider using them again for AC job.

They do great work and they are prompt. They do good followup and their price is reasonable. It is certainly standard, fair and in the ballpark.

Air conditioner would not cycle. The fan would not come on when switched from auto. My old heating and air conditioning guy was no longer in business. Called Ellendale Heating and Air Conditioning. The young lady who took my call was courteous and professional. She was able to get a technician to the house right away. The technician arrived and found the issue within 5 minutes. Technician was straight forward and honest. Just a loose wire. Took care of it and checked the other wiring. Was just charged for the service call. Ellendale Heating and Air Conditioning are my go to guys for my heating and cooling needs.

Existing unit made serviceable; unit to be replaced by Ellendale with a new Trane system.

Dennis Barlow provided us with a comprehensive cost summary. He came on the same day that we called for the estimate, and he scheduled the work on the following Monday, when we wanted the work to begin. Service folks arrived promptly at 0800 hours and the work was finished a little after 1500 hours. We were given a complete tour of the finished work and a thorough explanation of the work. We were also given an educational lesson in how to use the new programmable thermostat. We are very satisfied with Ellendale Heating and Air Conditioning, their products, their personnel, and their courtesy.

Prices were higher than those of competing firms.

We think the work turned out pretty good. We just had the work done so we can't see the results yet. They were in, they were friendly, and they cleaned up after themselves. I just can't talk about the quality of the job yet because we need to wait and see how the heating bills are. We didn't shop around for the price. Part of the reason we chose them is because they are an authorized dealer for the Tennessee Valley Authority. We are getting a rebate from the electric company for having done this work and they were one of the approved contractors to do it. We would use them again in the future or have them come out and give us a bid if we needed to.

They were very keen to work with us. We had maybe half a dozen companies come to the house and they were definitely more willing to work with us and more willing to move on price. They actually presented one of the cheapest prices. After we decided to go with them, it was very difficult to get feedback from them.

Heater had stopped during cold wave and they responded on time fixed the problem and gave me excellent service as they have in the past. I first used them when I had them do a home inspection on our house before we bought it 2005 and we have had an annual service contract with them on the units with them since. They have always been on time polite and good value for the service provided. They have always in the past done what they said they were going to do and a fair price.

First off let me tell you I had 10 contractors in my house on Thursday bidding the work to be done. Ellendale was not the cheapest, but they were the most kind and understanding company. Their price was "right in the middle". When it comes to replacing a whole unit you don't want to get the cheapest. This is Memphis we are talking about! Anyways, Dennis came and gave a an estimate on Thursday. After looking over my options and talking to all of the contractors I decided on the best decision of the month. Use Ellendale. The crew was here Friday morning and had the whole unit inside and out installed by the afternoon. They were clean, answered all of my many questions and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

They had to come out a couple of times when it was cold, and I have young children.

They were good, professional and timely.

They're pretty good in terms of response and getting bids in. The only thing I didn't like was, when I gave them the job, everything went smooth until I tried to get some stuff done and the response time started getting slower. Other than that, they did a great job. The unit was installed perfectly, but there were some little things I was not happy with. I didn't have a problem with Bill or Dennis, it was the guy that put it in for them. The lady at the office made a good follow up after the job was done.
