They will lie and overcharge. Avoid.

The person did not come on time and had to call back then they sent the person around one hour latter The person on arrival and replaced parts worth around $328/- and without confirming. I miss took it to be covered in the contract. But with all the parts change the whole problem was not fixed and had to call them a week latter. Again same experience with person showing up, did not arrive at time and then had to call after which the person arrived one hour latter. This time checked and said that there is problem with the main control which is very costly to replace and suggested instead replace the whole A/C as it is old and also cost of replacing the parts just few hundred bucks less than buying a new one.

They were very friendly and helpful, they went the extra mile to help me find an affordable option that fit my budget.

The technician was great and thorough. I was very happy with his service and with all contact on the phone. They had to postpone original scheduled visit many times on the first date scheduled until it was too late in the day for me to wait any longer. It was for routine work, so not a big deal and they were very good about keeping the next scheduled service date. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the $78 that I was charged at the end of the visit for the service call fee, that was not mentioned in Angie's list or by anyone on the phone.

We hadn't had a tune up since we moved in 10 years ago. The work was top notch! I was very satisfied with their work. He said he would be there around 1:00 but it was much later which was kind of a draw back because we had to stick around a bit longer. All he would have needed to do was call and let us know that we could have gone and done some other things.

Came in quickly and fixed it and hand the supplies (2 parts needed) on hand so he didn't need to come back. Very courteous. I had used them once before for our primary AC unit and had the same positive results.

They gave me a cleaning, changed my filters, and found that I had some air seeping through. They sealed it up for me.

I was scheduled for 12-3 on a Wed. No one showed or called. I called about 4:15p and had to reschedule for the following Monday, almost a week later. This was for a furnace tune up and I would have liked to have had it done before the cold weekend. The technician came within the scheduled time. However, no one called to let me know when he was on the way as I was told they would.

There is one part of the furnace that is operational, but will need to be replaced soon. I opted to go ahead and take care of it now instead of potentially having the part fail in the middle of winter. I was also shown the correct filters to use in my air handler as the previous homeowner had not used the correct size. Cost is an estimate as I have not gotten final confirmation of the cost of part being replaced.

Company was great communicating about technician's arrival and additional services needed.

They were very thorough and committed to finishing the job correctly and to my satisfaction.

We didn't use Ellendale, but they were cooperative and helpful. My only qualm is I wished they had given me their least expensive quote right-away. I didn't know there could be further negotiation on the equipment. So, we went with another company.

It definitely did not start off well. I had the hardest time trying to make an appointment and getting people to answer the phone and call me back was equally as hard. When they finally did come out, the young man was very knowledgeable and polite. He told me what was wrong but I have yet to hear from anyone at the company about a follow up appointment to fix the problem. My house is still HOT! I guess I will go find another company to help me😩!

Ellendale was very professional. We did a lot of research up front and had estimates from several companies listed on Angie's List, but Ellendales was by far the best on price, brand and service plan (3 years!). The owner himself came out and gave us an estimate - not a sales person like many of the bigger companies. He was not only very nice, but also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. On the day the work was schedule he and two men came on time early in the morning. The two workers, who seemed very experienced, then installed the system within 1 day without any issues and left the basement clean. The owner came back shortly after and check everything. We later hired them to service our up stair unite and again they were very professional. The came on time, did an excellent job and gave us a very good price. This is not only a very professional, but also very pleasant company to work with and I can highly recommend them.

Things went south when they set up an appt for my annual heating inspection,they called me and said it as part of the agreement I am entitled to my annual inspection,its already paid for..... I said sure come by on such and such a date......They were a no show ,after waiting 3 hours I finally called and rescheduled apparently I was forgotten. Not professional and very odd for these guys. A week later they finally arrived for my maintenance for my contracted service appt.. They found a possible bad capacitor thats 93 bucks sir...even though it cost 7 and takes 30 seconds to install and I am supposed to get a discount for being on contract...I paid the 93 bucks . Then they advised me I needed a new motor in the other unit but would have to get back to me on a price since my unit was a little older (1995) Understandably I waited for them to do some research . A few days later I get a call and the receptionist says the aprt is no longer made and boss Dennis the boss wanted to see me in person to give me my options (sell me a new furnace maybe ?) I objected and suggested we look a little harder for a motor or even have the old one rebuilt ? After a few days later they repeated the bad news,it was totally impossible and no longer made and I was out of luck .( its an electrical motor,these things are rebuilt all the time ) So i popped onto Google punched in some names and numbers of my motor and furnace and guess what My motor is indeed available,for a mere 150 bucks online ,it arrived on 1/27 and I installed it myself which too me 15 mins My furnace is now 100% quiet and operational .

Ellendale was very professional and they were very eager to get out here and help. They were willing to come within 2 hours of contact but I was at work and couldn't get home in time so rescheduled for the next morning from 0800-1100. They called before 0800 to see if 0800 was good and then the driver called when he was minutes away. The tech was very professional and friendly. Didn't waste any time. The location of the heater was kinda tight and lots of pipes in the way but he didn't complain or anything, got in there and tested the capacitor, it didn't work, went outside and came back in, and within minutes asked me to turn on the heat and it was working. I would absolutely call this company and recommend them for anyone with Air Conditioner and Heating needs.

Service was professional and adequate. Service was to include inspection of ducts for leaks, however, I am not sure this was done adequately. I have insulation blowing up through the vents at times so I know there has to be a leak somewhere. I would use them again. I think they would make it right if I pressed them to inspect a little further. I wish they had a follow up system to remind me when to schedule the next inspection.

The tech diagnosed the cause of the issue. I decided not to go with the repair at the time.

The technician was very knowledge and explained all my available options. Diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly.

One was low on freon and recharged and is doing fine. The other was out and replacement was recommended. I am very satisfied with the technical service. Ellendale deserves an "A" rating, but I downgraded it to a "B" because of customer service issues. After a couple of days, I got a call from Ellendale with the option of two different systems and a quote on each. Because the two brands quoted have several models, I asked for details on the proposed systems. I have just emailed them a third request for details (6/19, 6/29, and 7/2).

They were very professional thoughout the installation. Very happy. Purchase includes a 10 year parts and labor warrenty
