David and his crew were highly professional, thorough and skilled. That’s one reason why Coopertown’s work is guaranteed for a year. And they weren’t just good at what they did, they were also “good people” – incredibly polite, very quiet with no radios playing, took special care to protect my home even putting protective coverings over their shoes each time they entered and then cleaned up thoroughly even washing down the sidewalks when they finished up to remove moss build up. That wasn’t part of the job but it’s that willingness to go the extra mile that distinguishes both the people and the work they do. Coopertown first came out to assess the problem and before leaving provided a detailed report complete with photos that documented where the squirrels were entering, the damage they were causing and explained how the problem would be solved. They also provided a firm quote. Repairing the damage and sealing up the numerous entrance points the squirrels had used was a fairly large job. When they came back to do the work the crew showed up exactly when they had said they would, and they had a clear step by step plan that allowed them to address every detail in the original report without wasting time or effort. Although here for most of the day, the crew remained fully focused, never seeming to pause or take a break but steadily going about the job and doing so quickly and quietly. Thanks to their skilled, professional work the problem is solved. And the process itself was painless. What could be better. Naturally, I would use them again and highly recommend Coopertown.

Coopertown Services came in with drop cloths, covered and moved furniture and plants then went to work cleaning the chimney. They did a full inside out inspection and then reviewed it with me showing live, the detail inside the chimney. Provided me with a recommendation and repair estimate. Ken and crew were professional and knowledgeable. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Work went very smoothly. They cleaned up completely after they were finished. The crew was great! They even put covers over their shoes every time they came into the main part of the house. We were very pleased!

The two workers that arrived were exactly on time and called ahead to give me a heads up. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. They gave me a range of options to fix my chimney so I could decide what was within my budget and within my expectations. Also, the $125 service/quote fee applies to future service so it can be recouped.

I was contacted quickly, given an estimate, and scheduled service for the next day at 10:30am. They showed up exactly on time at 10:30am. They were professional and didn't get any part of the house dirty in the process of cleaning the chimney. They also went over any additional work that they suggested with a written estimate. The gentleman Joey was ahead of time and did an excellent professional job. I have been using this company since 2009. They offer a yearly contract which is very good to have, if you live in a wooded area.

Joey arrived promptly at the specified time. He was very professional and thorough with his inspection including climbing into the attic to look down into the firebox area. Ours is an old Majestic insert with metal flue. Problems where discovered that had apparently existed since installation in 1977 when the house was built. Repairs suggested, which included removing and replacing the entire system due to the original issues noted, far exceeded our available budget, but I found him to be upfront and honest with his suggestions. I would gladly use Coopertown in the future should the need arise, as well as recommending them to friends and neighbors.

First, the team showed up on time and was well prepared. It was one of the hottest day for the summer with the heat index hitting some where between 105 and 110 for the day. The team of four guys worked from 9 am until almost 6 pm with no stoppage for lunch. They worked inside my living room, in the crawl space, and more importantly outside with the chimney and on the roof. I was struck by many things. First, the team was extremely considerate of caring for my living room furniture (moving things and covering up things). They literally took a jack hammer and ripped out the concrete base. This created dust but they did a great job of minimizing this as much as possible. Second, a couple of the guys had to go into the basement and then access the bottom of the chimney through a crawl space. These guys had no issues crawling in there where they stayed until they completed rebuilding the base. It is a tight area and not comfortable but there was never a complaint. (You might read this and wonder why I point this out. Well, I have had workers from other companies refuse to go in a crawl space!!) Anyway, I just want to point out that these guys do what it takes to get the job done! Next, the guys had to put in the liner and mix the sealant and pour it in and "hand" lay and smooth it in through the bottom. Lastly, they rebuilt my firebox inside. I pointed out the process as I understood it because it was labor intensive and technical but the team worked together extremely well under very hot weather conditions and never once stopped for lunch! Ken, the lead, kept me informed throughout the entire process as did everyone on the team. They were honestly the most polite and professional group of men. They worked very hard and took pride in their work, treating my home as if it were their own. They considered my feelings constantly throughout the entire process asking if there was anything that I needed/wanted moved or if I had any questions. They also did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. It had been a long day but they were complete and made sure it looked like it did when they showed up. I really appreciated that. Overall, it was a great experience.

They were prompt, courteous and very professional and understood the needs of vintage housing. They were very respectful and introduced each person who would enter the house and cleaned up each site they touched. Ken supervised his crew well. We have had cheaper services to relieve critters, but non so complete. We also appreciate the guarantee. We highly recommend this service to our neighbors. They exceeded my expectations.

They were amazing. They were really clean and thorough. I asked them to give me very specific information or an estimate for further work and it was so very detailed and I know exactly what I needed to do. When I called them, I know exactly what to ask for. They are very knowledgeable and he supervised. That team is really knowledgeable and helpful. They did inspection on the chimney, outside on the roof and inside the chimney.

Ken (self-described as the "old guy") came out and did a thorough inspection, complete with showing us pictures of what was happening up top that was causing us problems (water during rain coming out the fireplace). He was able to contact a colleague that came out the same day, and, that gentleman completed all the work described in my title. The materials and labor are guaranteed not to leak for one year....I don't know why the previous owners would have let it go so wrong for so long. We've been in the house for only three weeks and have had a couple homeowner "baptisms" that were not found during the home inspection unfortunately. Oh well, it comes with the territory when you own a home. Now we know and these guys were awesome.

He was outstanding! Told me things we should do in the future but wasn't pushy. He was very knowledgeable, showed up when he was supposed to and got in and out quickly!

I got up on the roof with him to inspect the chimney. They said it needed professional cleaning and sealing/ waterproofing then wrote up a proposal. It was $75 for them to come out for the inspection.

Went well, however we decided to hold off on the work.

It was fine. He gave me good advice. He could have charged me for something and he didn't because my chimney was fine. He was on time and gave me honest advice.

He arrived right on time, went right to work, and cleaned up after himself. The same person has cleaned my fireplace for the last two years, if not the last three. He remembers the nuances of my insert fireplace, reminding me of what he told me about it last year.
