Description of Work: I was very pleased with this company and the professional way they handled the repair of my washing machine. They explained exactly what was wrong and gave me an accurate estimate. They had to order parts but they were received an 2 days. The service tech ordered 2 parts incase they were needed. When the most inexpensive part fixed the problem we were both very happy. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: The ice maker in my refrigerator was not producing ice when I called to make the service appointment. However after I poked around in it, it started working the day before my service appointment. I decided to keep the appointment so the technician could check it out. (It is June in Memphis, so I wanted to make sure the thing was going to work!) After takng it apart and checking it, the techician couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong. He told me that the service call is good for 30 days, so if I had any trouble at all to call back and they would come back out. He was very nice and very professional. He could have tried to sell me a new ice maker, but he didn't.

Description of Work: Explained cost of potential problem. Spent time securing all components and getting washer running again. Stated that the real problem would likely return and stated the cost of the real repair. Also stated that he would recommend not spending money on repairs, but investing in replacement. A day later the condition reappeared. A Plus was very professional, prompt and honest. I would use them again, without question.

Description of Work: My built in microwave was not heating and I called A plus to see if it was worth repairing. A plus came out as scheduled, diagnosed the problem and gave alternative options for repair and replacement. I was very appreciative of the honesty from the tech. It's hard to find reputable repair companies out there. I will be using A plus for future issues. Thanks!

Description of Work: I had them come out to give me an estimate for work to be done to a freezer. They came out and gave me the estimate for repair and total cost. Once I called them back to come and complete the work they were there on time and repaired the freezer quickly and everything went as scheduled.

Description of Work: Refrigerator over 15 years old had been dripping water in the interior for several years which we caught in a dish needing emptying every few days. Finally, the freezer frosted solid one night. A Plus defrosted it, but it refroze after a couple of weeks. They came right back out and found the problem. Now, no drips, no frosted freezer and no additional charge. Good responsible business.

Description of Work: I called to get my gas stove top burners adjusted, as they burn too high for simmering. This was the main reason for my call. When the technician got there, he had an order that said I had an "oven" problem. Wasn't the oven. He then said that he could not lower the burners any further, as it would be a "safety hazard." (A gust of wind or just walking by could blow them out, allowing gas to escape. Do you ever leave your lit stove unattended?!) That was a $50.00 service call. He did find a cracked ceramic element in one burner that needed to be replaced so that it would light properly. He ordered the part, and came back the next week (10/11) to install it. Very nice man, and it was much easier (though twice as expensive) than dealing with the losers that my home warranty company sends out!

Description of Work: 1990s Kenmore washing machine was causing water to overflow out of the washer & onto the floor. The technician came out, isolated the problem, came back the next day with the proper part and repaired it. When I called to make an appointment, the woman on the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful.
