Gary is one of the most efficient and honest contractors that I have used at my properties. I used him once before on rental property and this time on my home. He makes your feel like your talking to your brother. He explains what is happening with the unit, gives you options and is very reasonably priced. I will most likely need a new unit this year and he will definitely be the one I call. Give him a call, you won't be disappointed!

Gary was always punctual and did an excellent installation of the AC unit. explained every thing also the thermostat operation. I was very satisfied.

AC quit on May 1. Tried to find someone to come out. Could not remember his name at first so called a couple of places with no response. Finally remembered the name and found his number on the internet. I called about 11:00 a.m. and he was here fixing my AC by about 3:00. Wonderful communication. Came out the same afternoon. Kept us updated on what time he would be there working around other service calls. Honest, straightforward, very fair pricing, and reliability. Went over the whole unit in detail. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Gary Merritt, Merritt Heat & Air, installed a new H&A system for me @ my residence in December 2010. I had met Gary several years before this when he was doing work (other than H&A) for my parents in 2005. Gary has a vast knowledge of all aspects of construction and is capable of tackling any job. Because of this experience, he was able to determine what I needed and also took into consideration for me to add another room(s) to my house in the future. This will save me a lot of $$ in the future and time given that he will just have to add on the duct work for the extension. He also informed me of discounts with his company and the tax credit that was being offered at that time, saving me money from the very beginning. It is amazing how well this new system works. You can be toasty warm or pleasantly chilled in a very short amount of time. This unit is extremely efficient, and so is Gary. Gary does a great job and I would not use anyone else. Gary Merritt is one of the most trustworthy contractors that I have ever worked with and I have no problem giving him the key to my house & turning him loose to do his work. He's even taken time to tend to my pups Because of my past experiences with Gary, I have also had him do work for my employer.
