Description of Work: They took down a very large tree that had suddenly died in my front yard and also removed some large branches in another tree.

Description of Work: Hired Arbor Pro for the 2nd time to do tree trimming work on two properties. They first walked the property to see what I wanted done plus make recommendations. About 9 trees needed trimming, one removed, and 2 brush areas cleaned up. They took notes, then gave me a written estimate on the spot. They showed up on the appointed day with crew and equipment, and performed all the tasks we agreed on plus a couple of additional last minute requests for no additional charge. The bill was exactly the amount of the estimate.

Description of Work: Bill had done work for me about a year before and had done a great job. I called him again to do some work. I needed a dead tree completely removed, a large tree pruned a small tree pruned and some other work. He came out and gave me an estimate. Bill is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain the job and the condition and needs of the trees. I told him I wanted him to do the work. He said it would be about 2 weeks before he could get to my work. About 3-4 weeks later I hadn't heard from him. I called him and he said he misunderstood me and thought I was still deciding if I wanted to use him. Since he knew I wanted to use him he would put my job on his work schedule. I told him I would be going on vacation soon and if he couldn't do the work before I left it would be fine to do it after. He agreed to this since he was also going on vacation about the same dates. After that I never heard from him again. I called him at least twice and left messages for him to call and let me know when he could do the work and never got a response. I give him a C and not an F because the work he did for me the first time was very good and the price was good.

Description of Work: they cut down two large trees including one hanging over our house. They did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them as a professional, reasonably priced, expert service provider.

Description of Work: I had a dead tree that needed to come down and trim work on 4 other trees in my yard. I called 3 tree services for estimates. Bill Hedberg from Arbor Pro promptly returned my call and we set up a time to meet. He stopped by and we looked at each tree and Bill gave me good advice. He gave me a written quote on the spot. One other tree service gave me a comparable quote, but I felt that Arbor Pro was a better fit for me and my trees. I called him back a couple of weeks later to schedule the work. They arrived on time and completed the work just as we had discussed, plus did a couple of extra tasks they did not charge me for. I was very satisfied with their work.

Description of Work: Arbor Pro made multiple work trips to help prepare for my daughter's at home wedding. Work included shaping several trees, removing many others and clearing a wooded area to make way for large tent. He was responsive; his crew was efficient, professional and both the work and cleanup was rapid. I'm glad to have found them and expect to use them whenever I have tree work to be done.

Description of Work: The owner, Bill, performed a general assessment of our 4-acre property and presented a tree maintenance program that we liked very much. We asked him to execute about 2/3 of the plan and he did as soon as weather permitted. The plan included clearing many years of neglected deadwood and clearing an area for an old Southern Magnolia to thrive and be featured in the yard. They also took down a very tall, old pine that Bill red-tagged due to damage on the trunk and that was a danger to the main house.

Description of Work: Bill came to my house on 4-8-2010 and gave me a very reasonable estimate for some brush clearing and tree and stump removal. I told him that day I wanted him to do the work, ( He has done work for me in the past, and did a great job) He indicated he may be able to get to it within the next week or so.

Description of Work: Cut down and removed 4 trees and cleaned up. 2 of the trees required mostly climbing to get them down. One tree required climbing to get the top part down so the rest could be felled.

Description of Work: Cut and removed tall hickory tree that was close to house, removed large limbs from three huge poplars overhanging roof and removed three other trees. Five of the trees required climbing and roping cut limbs down. The work crew cleaned up afterward, hauled away the wood. and left the chipped mulch where we asked them too. (They would have hauled the mulch off for the same price if we had wanted.)

Description of Work: We had some fairly large cracked limbs on a big Black Cherry tree in our backyard that were hanging over a main street in our subdivision. I was worried that the next big wind would knock them out of the tree onto a car or someone walking or riding their bike.

Description of Work: They came out to the house and removed several trees and ground the stumps.

Description of Work: I had one maple tree removed because of windstorm damage they hauled it off as a part of the service as well.
