The actual work was good. I was never told the ground would settle a foot in places. My contract documents and close out documents did not reference there would be settling. I started building my deck and several of the posts have now sunk and the deck (even though just started building it) has to be replaced. I called Scott Frazier (the #2 guy) and without even asking me what I wanted or what AF could do, he said they were not responsible at all. He even acknowledged they did not communicate this import fact. He said they will in the future. In the meantime, I'm out a couple hundred dollars and the ground is still settling even after their service call. Scott does not practice very good customer service skills being in the position he is in.

They did a great job on the task, yet I had to clean some of my yard after the work was done.

Crew was courteous and left the work area spotless. Except for the drain they installed you could see no evidence that they were even there. All landscaping was restored and sidewalk where they worked was as clean as when they arrived.

I hired American Foundation and Basement Repairs to encapsulate my crawlspace. They also added a dehumidifier and a sump pump. I had inspected the work myself and thought it was a good job. However, I'm not a builder. We have a yearly pest/termite spray and inspection plan. They came out today and after conducting their inspection they raved on and on about how in 20 years of examining crawlspaces and seeing encapsulation jobs this was the single best job they had ever seen by far. The quality of the seams, the materials used and the overall consistency of the work was second to none. This made me feel really good about this expenditure. I would highly recommend Darle and his team.

This was repair to 10 yr old work. It was completed in one day and the 2 men were very pleasant. Felt comfortable with them going in and out of the house.

The salesman was courteous and professional. So were the service technicians. They showed up on time, explained the process and cleaned up the project area. Overall I was happy with the work. The service was a little pricey!

The team was prompt, efficient and professional. They explained what they were doing and why. The accidentally damaged a downspout during the project and was out the next morning to replace it at their expense. I would highly recommend them.

my concrete deck around my pool had settled and separated left a big gap between the pool and the deck, They raised the concrete back up and it looks great. Good job for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

I had other estimates American Foundation price was by far the best. The workers knew what they were doing and I could tell they were experienced. I was happy and pleased with the work they did. If the need be I would not hesitate to hire them again.

5.0 across the board. Most highly recommended! We got on-site, in-person estimates from all three companies in the Knoxville area that do concrete leveling. One company uses the mud jacking process (pumping a grout mixture under the concrete) which we were not so sure about after learning more about it, so we ruled them out. American Foundation, and their other main competitor, use the polyurethane injection process instead, which we liked better. Ultimately we selected American Foundation and Basement when their estimate was ONE THIRD what their competitor quoted. Their competitor quotes one price with unlimited poly. American quotes what they think the job will actually take, then advises you that it may take up to 10% more, at $11/lb if it does. I was quoted 300 lbs and the job ended up just under that, so I owed nothing more. Had I gone with their competitor, I would have paid nearly triple. And while they do not give a refund if the job uses less than the estimate, our crew was more than happy to void fill a couple of extra areas for us since we were still under the estimate. Overall, an incredibly professional and well-done experience from start to finish. I truly appreciated an accurate bid that asked me to pay for what they expected the job to cost. Nothing more and nothing less. Contrast that with a bid for triple the amount and lots of pressure to make a decision within 24 hours (to get a 10% discount off the already inflated price). The icing on the cake was the phone call from the competitor owner minutes after telling the competitor salesman that we decided to go with another company. Not only was he incredulous that I would go with American (I didn't name the company and nor did he, but he referenced poly injection, so that is who he meant), he assured me that ultimately, American would be more expensive by going over their estimate at the job site. Of course, as mentioned above, that never happened. Nice job, American Foundation & Basement Repair! Salesman Zollie Cantrell was a pro and very helpful. Foreman Scott and helper Travis could not have been more professional or careful. And Sales & Marketing Manager Scott Flanary was quick to call when he discovered a minor error in my favor on the balance paid. Hard working honest people.

This is an excellent foundation repair company. I have a wood base foundation so they installed drains around the perimeter and a dehumidifier and a sump pump along with a vapor barrier. I had mold and a very high humidity under the house. They did this in less than a week and arrived on time and worked solid. They did what they said. They also installed support beams that had been sorely needed for years. Under the house is now dry. The customer support is excellent. They may be a bit pricey but I will pay for good contract work. We are very pleased.

I have hired them. They are about 4-6 weeks out before they can start. The company is very professional and courteous. Somewhat pricey but after contacting several other people that had no idea what they were talking about I decided to go with this professional. I will update this once the work is completed.
