They did a great job! They are a family owned business and I found them hardworking and trustworthy.

It was what you would want a company to perform: prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional work done in an efficient manner for a reasonable rate. That is what we got from this company. From Matt in the office who scheduled our first appointment to Lawrence, Bobby and the other crew members, the employees of this company take their work seriously and perform at a high level of quality. Because we are new to this area we were nervous about choosing the only company who came to give us an estimate but we can happily report that we were not disappointed and their work was outstanding.

They did a good job and they matched it perfectly. They spilled some stain outside on the wall so they even painted the whole wall. They were really good. My only complaint was that they didn't arrive at the time they said they would so I was stressed because they didn't finish when they said they would. The workmanship was good. Their price was very good.

I called for an estimate and received one in a prompt fashion. The work was completed quickly and they did a very good job.

First, we were provided an estimate and several choices of solid hardwood floor/finishes to select from. Lawrence Verchota then gave me the names of several neighbors whose floors they had installed and told me I might want to call them and/or go look at their floors to "get ideas" and examine the quality of the workmanship. Though we had already received one recommendation for Verchota Floors, we decided to make a few calls and go take a few looks. Considering what we believed to be superior work in other homes and a reasonable bid for our own floor, we decided to use Verchota Floors for our major hardwood floor purchase & installation. Our bid included all the flooring and its installation. Next, all flooring was delivered to remain in our home for at least a week (for climate adjustment). When they returned a week later, they never missed a day for the following three weeks. They showed up on time and worked until that day's part of the project was complete. After moving all our furniture from the "front" two rooms to the "back" two rooms, the work of removing old flooring and repairing sub-flooring began, as did the demolition of one stairway and it's rebuilding with the red oak steps & white risers. Then the "first" installation of hardwood flooring began. The sanding, buffing, finishing, more buffing & more finishing, etc. Upon the completion of the "front half" of the house, furniture was moved back on the new floor and all work started over on the "back half" of the house. All communications with/from the company were handled professionally. We were always treated with courtesy and kindness. I was not a "tough" customer, but when I did have a concern, every possible effort was made to deal with that concern promptly and satisfactorily. We were satisfied every time. We love the new appearance of our floors. They are beautiful, difficult-to-scratch or dent and easy-to-clean. The crew was always on time, courteous, friendly and professional. All said and done, we couldn't be happier with Verchota Floors. We gladly recommend them to our friends.

Lawrence and his staff were terrific. The work was done on time, at the cost estimated. and the crew cleaned up after themselves. As with any large jobs, mistakes will occur... such as forgetting to remove baseboard prior to installing flooring. Not a small mistake either! Lawrence had tThe crew came back to remove the baseboard and reinstalled w/ new shoe molding. Also, Lawrence brought to my attention the damage the painters were doing to my new flooring (and I hadn't even moved in!). He had his staff come back and fixed the flooring back to it's beauty. They take pride in their work. When I get ready to redo the rest of my floors, I will defintely call them again.

It started out well.... the job and finished product. Then they dented our new stainless steel refrigerator door. I had to coordinate all of the effort to get this fixed which resulted in finally having to get a new door at $525.00. They paid the bill by taking it off of my bill. There wasn't ever an offer (or apology) to say, hey... for your time in getting this fixed (like I needed something ELSE to do), we are knocking some $$$ off the price. Once "I" coordinated everything to get the door fixed, all I got was a call from the office that had the tone of a collection call for the remainder of the bill. Mind you that the owner himself told me NOT to pay the bill until the door was fixed. This company leaves a lot to be desired in customer service. Funny enough, the door was actually dented on the first day they were there (the same day the owner told me that one of his family members would be present and wasn't)! To top it off, before all of this happened, I referred Verchota to my neighbor who too had an awful experience. Call someone else.

This was easily one of the best experiences I ever had with home repair/remodel. This is an old Nashville family run business. Low pressure, knowledgeable, and took care of the details. I had a lot of anxiety about this job because I did not want to make the wrong decisions. All of my concerns were allayed, they explained the choices, had great suggestions, and helped me get the best flooring for my budget.
