When I called I talked to Carl the owner. He came to provide an estimate personally and was available through the entire process. He made several trips to check how the work coming alone. I think he is a really nice person. His crew arrived at the agreed upon time and day, and they were polite and efficient. Carl inspected the final results himself. I could not be happier with the experience and would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend this company to family, friends or neighbors.

Can't imagine a roofing job going any better, faster, or easier. Called Mr Bennett for an estimate after reading his reviews, and had it in hand within a couple hours. He walked me through what would be done & even pointed out other problems unrelated to his work. We shook hands, he called with a start date, and was done in two days with remarkable clean up after each day. Asked for no money down, insisted I call him if I ever had any problems. It was like dealing with a trusted neighbor, which it turns out I was. Can't wait to give his name out, because my search for a roofer is over.

I spoke to Bennett roofing to set up a date to repair my roof vents, I was told that is not covered in the cost of his special and that would be extra. If you can't fix two roof vents which needed to be screwed down and caulked , what can you do

Did a great job and gave me a very good estimate to replace the roof but when I got the invoice and called to pay with my credit card he said they don't take credit cards! I will not do business in the future with him.

After purchasing the deal, Mr. Bennett contacted me. At that time I explained that I had a new roof but was experiencing leaking around my sky lights. Mr. Bennett explained that the deal would not cover my problem. I asked if the $99 could be applied to the repair and he said that was not a problem. We made an appointment and I called the day before to reschedule because of the snow. He was to be at my house 1/31 @ 1 PM. I came home and waited for 2 hours but no Mr. Bennett. He made no effort to call me or reschedule. I felt that he was not enthusiastic about repairing my sky lights and decided not to call him again. I must say that for my first experience with Angie's List providers is very disappointing.

Working with Carl and his crew was a piece of cake. After I initially called Carl and set up an evaluation, he came right on time. He looked over the house and took measurements. He discussed my options of felt underlayment and types of shingles and spent a lot of time helping me. He also alerted me to a problem with how my cedar siding was originally place in contact with the roof that was causing degradation. He came up with a solution that worked great. Due to weather problems with extreme cold, wind and snow there were several delays, but they came when the weather was warm enough and did the work in sections so I wouldn't have any leaks. They were AWESOME! They even came out on a Sunday to work, because the weather was perfect. I really appreciated that, but didn't expect them to do that. Thanks Carl and your team!

We tried scheduling with him multiple times to no avail, and eventually he refused to honor the deal.

Showed up wrong day. Stated work was outside deal price, due to size of roof. Told him, I had no idea what my roof pitch was. Asked for what the additional price would be, with no answer given.

Carl Bennett and his team were excellent in not only performing the requested service of replacing my roof, but serving my needs for timing and availability. They were respectful of our needs and timing to get the job done. Each day they were working they cleaned up after themselves and left things orderly for the next day of work. From policing the area for nails and scraps to making sure they did not leave gates open when done, they were professionals through and through. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who needed a roof replacement or repair.

They replaced the shingles and fixed a dip in the roof. They did an excellent job. The job was done in one day and they cleaned up everything.

Mr. Bennett and his co-worker arrived on time and were both friendly and helpful. He did find a few places in our roof that needed resealing and did so. He evaluated the whole roof and gave us an estimate in the event that we decided to preemptively go ahead and replace the whole roof. He was not pushy about doing that and provided good samples for us to look at, describing the differences well. We would use him in the future and felt that the Angie's List coupon we purchased was a very good investment.

They did a great job on our new roof. They showed up when they said they would and in two days we had a new roof. They cleaned up the job site and removed all the old roofing materials and debri. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional to re-roof your home.

PROJECT: Removed old shingles on sizeable residence with many roof line variations and steep pitch. Replace old shingles with architectural shingles. Removal of the old shingles revealed boards that needed replacement and substantial sealing to prevent leaks. Mr. Bennett worked with us to determine the date for the project to begin and accurately finished on time. As rain moved in on one day, the team worked to ensure that any potential moisture would not impact the quality of the finished project. The Bennett team was polite and punctual and very good about cleaning the site free of debris and nails when completed. Mr. Bennett personally inspected the skylight replacement to ensure he was satisfied with the interior trim work. This was an A++ experience. HIGHLY recommend. Disclosure: Our family is not related to anyone at this company. We took three bids prior to chosing a company. We removed the lowest bid from consideration due to professionalism and chose The Bennett Company and we are glad we did! You can hire this team with confidence.

The Big Deal was $4,699 for a New Roof with 3-D Architectural Shingles and Lifetime Warranty. I was aware of the small print and asked Carl to come out, look at my roof, and make adjustments to his estimate. The deal was for 2,000 ft^2, my roof is larger. My roof is also fairly steep. Carl was very responsive, he came out to see me in a couple of days, but by his final price was outside the range I was hoping for.

They made an appointment to review the work I wanted done but never called or showed up. Bad way to do business.

Mr. Bennett's crew removed and replaced 5200 square feet of my roof, which had been damaged by hail. His crew showed up just after daylight, and started to work immediately. Every person knew exactly what to do. I was amazed that the roof was done completely to my safisfaction by nightfall, with not one sign of damage to my lawn or property, and no trash was left. I spent thirty-three years in engineering for the production of defense systems, but the organization and efficiency of Mr. Bennett's team was still amazing to me. Being an engineer, I wanted to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction, so I watched everything that was done. I was so pleased with the work that was done, and the manner in which Mr. Bennett's team approached their job, that I would not hesitate to go away for a day and leave the whole job to Mr. Bennett the next time I need a roof replacement.

We had 3 separate leaks in our roof. Although a friend had recommended Carl Bennett, we went ahead and got 3 different inspections and estimates, of which, Carl Bennett was one. Carl impressed us by showing us problems with our current roof that the other companies had missed. His estimate came in on the lower end of the estimates. He was very no-nonsense and direct and was upfront with telling us what could possibly increase the cost of the repair (namely the need to replace additional damaged sheets of plywood). After we decided to use Carl, It did take about 3 weeks before they came out to do the work because they were waiting for warm enough weather for proper application of the shingles -- It was late winter at the time. He ended up replacing 3 sheets of plywood and I was pleased that he charged me what I would've paid at the local big-box store for them. When his crew was finished, they cleaned up thoroughly. There were no stray nails and they hadn't damaged any of the landscaping. We haven't had any problems out of the roof in the two years since. I like that I can trust him to only replace what needs to be replaced and to do the installation right (flashing, vents, etc.)

They were fine. We used them about nine years ago so we called them back when we needed roofing work. Their availability was better than I expected after the storm.
