Done Right Lawn and Landscape

Rotten. Waited for call . When not recieved contacted Angie's List for help. Was told you would contact provider and ask him to get in touch with me. Waited again, but stood received no call. Finally called Angie's List and requested refund of amount paid for Big Deal. Asked if I wanted you to find another provider, I declined. Wouldn't do business with done right now because I wouldn't ever feel comfortable re. their. Reliability or veracity.

They are great. Besides the grass being mowed, I wouldn't know they were here. They come on the day they say and I really haven’t had to deal with them.

They did not come the day they were suppose to lay the mulch...and I had to call back to get another date...that didn't happen either, and they came the next day. I had asked for an estimate on laying some border on one of the flower beds also. They had not laid all the mulch that was promised on the estimate, so I call and she said she was sorry and they would be out to finish. She then asked about the flower bed, and I told her we were not going to do it, it was more than I had wanted to pay. That was the last I heard from them, and they never did finish the job.

While I am very thankful that the price was so reasonable, I do believe that they "bit off more than they could chew" with the Groupon deal. The job, while performed completely, was done in a very hurried fashion. One aspect of their work that I was not too fond of was their complete cutting-back of my hydrangeas. I cannot recall if I was queried and I said "yes", or if their definition of "cut back" was much more extreme than mine. They were cut to the stump, and while they did spring back well enough, they did not bloom this year. I think that these people are very hard-working and earnest, and got in over their heads. I appreciate the deal, and much more good than bad was done, so I am generally happy with the experience.

Took advantage of the mulch deal but price for mulch was still insanely high. They dug out a garden for us, and that was sort of okay, but it's been very hard for plants to take root. But my black thumb is probably the culprit. They did weeding but only weed-whacking, so the weeds grew back almost immediately and I'm not sure they put down sufficient mulch. We now use them for lawn cutting. They aren't always prompt, but they do a nice job and they are well-priced for the work. As a company, they have been fine to deal with. Always pleasant and responsive on the phone.

Trenching was completed as planned. Ran into some wet weather and had some difficulty completing the sod work. Initially I was not happy with the result, the sod was not set properly. To their credit the crew came back and did everything to complete the job in a satisfactory manner. It's been nearly six months since completion and the drains work well and sod looks great. We also laid sod in a separate area of the yard. The sod was picked up directly from the sod farm the day it was cut and looked great. I wasn't as happy with the prep of the area. It was not tilled as I would have preferred. The sod was laid over top of a marginally prepared area. Nearly 6 months later the sod is thin but I cannot fully attribute this to the work. A combination of droughty conditions (we have an irrigation system but this was still a stressful year) and the significant shade in the area may have contributed to the results. Overall, Done Right was responsive and did everything I asked them to do. I have also used them on yard clean up work (mulching, leaf removal, shrub trimming) and was pleased with their work.

We have someone that normally does our lawn but they were out of town so we called Done Right Lawn. They did a decent and good job. There was nothing spectacular but they did do what we asked them to do.

The lawn service provided by Done Right is excellent. Although I did not have a fixed date, the company was out there the same day I contacted them for service. I have used the company twice and their work is always done correctly and looks great.

They do a good job. They are fast and do what they say. They have always been very polite. I have no complaints with them at all. It is usually two of them that come and they are done in about thirty minutes. I don’t have a real big yard. I think it is average. The service is ongoing. I use them the rest of the summer.

From the time I received the estimate, they were in constant communication. The work was done in a timely professional manner. The work done was great. I would recommend to anyone and I will use them again.

They didn't do the job right. They were supposed to pull weeds in three beds, but only did one. When they put mulch in it burned 80% of the plants that it touched from being so hot. My overall experience with them was poor. I would never recommend them.

They worked in our yard and they did a pretty good job. I wouldn't say great. There was a tree that had fallen a few years ago in an ice storm. they cut away the tree. They didn't pull the stump with a very reasonable explanation. They would have to put the truck in our yard, our use our neighbor's driveway. It took me two weeks to get in contact with my neighbor. I have tried to call them to have them come out and they still have not called back. I paid them in full. Maybe they have been busy. I am going to call them again today. If they don't come out, I would consider it a major issue. They have already been paid to do the work. They work that they have done was finished in a timely fashion.

He did a very good job and was professional. He is now doing my yard bi -Monthly.

This is the second time we have used this company and both times they have done an excellent job. Although it was difficult to get this recent job scheduled at this very busy time of year for yard work, I was not sorry I waited. Their crew of 3 trimmed the bushes to my satisfaction and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. In addition, they suggested (and did) a few other tasks which improved the look of our landscaping. I was especially happy that they lowered the agreed upon price after having done the work because it did not take as long as they had predicted. I would highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again.

I liked that they were very courteous and prompt. They did everything to my expectations, and they exceeded them. They did everything I liked. There were no dislikes. I think they were just a bit pricey. I do believe that I got what I paid for.

I have used them from last season. There was some confusion about the frequency of their visits. I called them on Friday to remind them that the yard needed cutting and Saturdays morning they cut the yard. They are always through and this was no different. They weed wacked around the ainditioner and along the fence line. They use very quiet mowers and other equipment, so my neighbors are not disturbed. They have a no nonsense approach and don't waste time getting the job done. This is much appreciated.

The work was done on a Saturday and the guy that the owner sent to do the work said he wasn't told about two dead tree limbs he was to remove and that he didn't have the right tool. He said he would be back on Monday to do that and to clip additional hedges that he missed along the fence (that he pointed out to me). HE NEVER CAME BACK. I callded and left a message a couple of days later, and no one returned my call. Thje next time I called the phone number didn't allow me to leave a message. Unfortunately I trusted these guys and I paid them in full instead of holding back some payment for the tree limbs (my mistake).

I set up the appointment for them to come out months ago. I've called numerous times and they never responded back to me. They didn't show up for the appointment. I had bought lots and lots of flowers and plants for him to help me plant. I would never use him again. I would highly discourage anyone from using him. Yesterday they said a truck broke down. Today they called and said the man got bitten by a spider. Update 5/16/12 In response to their response:1. They said they contacted me and left several messages... NOT TRUE...I bought the "Big Deal" on 2/24/12. I called, got their voice mail, and Greg Bell called me back the same day and scheduled the work THE SAME DAY.2. They said the had received no calls prior to the scheduled work day. NOT TRUE...I called and left 2 messages on Friday, May 4th to verify what time they were coming.3. They said I didn't call until late afternoon on Saturday, May 5th. NOT TRUE>>>I even called Angie's list BEFORE noon to see if they had a way of contacting them. The guy at Angie's list apologized and told me I had two choices. I could either get my refund right then (BEFORE NOON) or I could wait it out and see if the guy showed up. I told him I had bought a lot of flowers to plant, but that I had some other stuff I could get him to do, so I would just wait it out. I chose to wait it out, but I never heard from them until Monday AFTER I had gotten a refund from Angie's List.They did call twice afer I had gotten the refund. The 1st call was a message on my house phone. They apologized and said that they had a truck that broke down. I didn't respond to the message because I was done with them. I had already planted ALL of the flowers by my self AND I'd gotten a refund. This call was a couple of days late! The next call was on Tuesday. This time they called me at my office. THIS TIME they CHANGED their story and said that the man had been bitten by a spider and had to go to the emergency room! PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Get your stories straight!!! DO NOT USE these dishonest company!!! I have emails to back up my facts.

I found them of Angie’s List. They are very good. They showed up on time and charged the same price which they quoted. They did the work they were asked to do. They are competitively priced. I would use them again in the future.

I have had her 3 times and she did well. I give her all A's and will use her again in the future.

They did a wonderful job. They seemed a little unorganized and there was a lack of communication as to what they were supposed to do when they got here.

Excellent job. Two workers came on time. They were professional and wanted me to go over again what I wanted done. Eventhough my husband was out of town, when he saw the results he was also pleased. He thought the price was good; except for the pruning of the crepe myrtle which he thought was slightly high. Overall he and I were very pleased and will definitely use this team again. They retun calls promptly and the owner Ben and his workers are very nice and thorough.

I am extremely happy with them. They did a great job. Their price, their personal service is good. They are excellent about returning phone calls. They showed up when they said they will. I chose them because they were in the top on Angie’s listing and I needed some work done. I called them and they were easy to talk to on the phone. They were very reasonable and they gave me good advice. I wasn’t there in the home when they came and they got back to me pretty quickly. They gave me good advice on what plants to put in. I would use them again in the future.

It has been very difficult to get ahold of them by phone, and when I did reach them by phone, the contact person said he could not talk now because he was at a ball game. He said he would call back in an hour, but he did not return my call until the next day. Due to this unprofessionalism, I have cancelled the Big Deal with Angie's List and will no longer be using this company
